When we dealing with church actions and behavior we need to deal bible. What really does the Bible say about dancing in church. I was very surprised when I researched it. Not all dancing is dancing. Not all spirit dance is Holy Spirit. When you dance in church it should not be by just feelings or emotions or for attention. The Holy Spirit must carry you into a realm of dancing. When dancing in the spirit you must be lead and governed by the spirit. He is in charge not you. Dancing can deliver a person, dancing ministers to a person but dancing is definitely not for our enjoyment, entertainment or show. Dancing is a ministry God use for himself to minister and witness to his people. A lot of things going on in church today is not validated by scripture. We go to church not to be entertained but to meet God. But I implore us all to use scriptures to validate our thoughts . Because the bible do give the answer. I've been saved for years and I don't see anything wrong with "dancing" before the Lord. They are not "twerking" or "shaking it in a club". These look like young women who "went to church" and not a "house party". I say, let them dance. Burn energy in the house of the Lord. As long as the Pastor is preaching salvation and these young women grow in the Lord. That music and the dancing will stay with them. My prayer is that when the time comes to make the choice to go to a "house party", they'll remember dancing before the Lord and turn down the invite!

When we dealing with church actions and behavior we need to deal bible. What really does the Bible say about dancing in church. I was very surprised when I researched it. Not all dancing is dancing. Not all spirit dance is Holy Spirit. When you dance in church it should not be by just feelings or emotions or for attention. The Holy Spirit must carry you into a realm of dancing. When dancing in the spirit you must be lead and governed by the spirit. He is in charge not you. Dancing can deliver a person, dancing ministers to a person but dancing is definitely not for our enjoyment, entertainment or show. Dancing is a ministry God use for himself to minister and witness to his people. A lot of things going on in church today is not validated by scripture. We go to church not to be entertained but to meet God.
But I implore us all to use scriptures to validate our thoughts . Because the bible do give the answer. I believed as many on this site is saying, but I came into the truth. I was thought by a Pastor on the web who was preaching on this very topic. I wrote down the scriptures. Read them and researched it for my self and he was right. So the question is are these ladies dancing being lead and carried by the Holy Spirit and are they being ministered to, is there anything taking place here by God.We may not know because the video did-not show the before or the after. BUT if not they were not doing anything but sweating.

We wore long dresses, skirts,long sleeves short sleeves no sleeves,suits, dresses and skirts just above the knees some with a respectable split as long as we were dressed with self respect like we were taught. **This speaks to all those who say dancing is wrong or just for show.**
Michal ridiculed David and pointed out that he acted like he was a commoner. Michal, as a King's daughter, believed that his dancing was improper and not honorable. However, David stood firm in his faith. He still declared that he will dance and play for the Lord because he owe everything that he has to Him.
2 Samuel 6:21-22 So David said to Michal, “It was before the Lord, who chose me instead of your father and all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of the Lord, over Israel. Therefore I will play music before the Lord. And I will be even more undignified than this, and will be humble in my own sight. But as for the maidservants of whom you have spoken, by them I will be held in honor.”
He even added that he will even look foolish in the future when praising the Lord, but his fellow believers will still look at him with dignity because they know that he danced for God.

I've been saved for years and I don't see anything wrong with "dancing" before the Lord. They are not "twerking" or "shaking it in a club". These look like young women who "went to church" and not a "house party". I say, let them dance. Burn energy in the house of the Lord. As long as the Pastor is preaching salvation and these young women grow in the Lord. That music and the dancing will stay with them. My prayer is that when the time comes to make the choice to go to a "house party", they'll remember dancing before the Lord and turn down the invite!
