I felt God‘s present with me. I felt his hand on my back. He was with me. He was praying with me. He was whispering my ear, when you enter a church church, you will experience this feeling as long as it is the right church and you believe in your heart because I know through God anything is possible I go to Baptist Springfield Church in Raleigh and enter that building. I promise you it’s like a whole Nother vortex, you feel like you are stuck if you feel like there is something inside of you that you’re searching for to find what is wrong to God, trust our father he will save you say a prayer. He will be there.

I was at a service where demons got cast out of someone. First this guy came down to the front, and started screaming and crying at the top of his lungs. Then half the church cleared out in less than 5 minutes. Then everyone left went up front, cast the demon out, and since then, every time I have seen him, he has the biggest smile on his face, because he is free.

Holy Spirit uses different people in different ways to do different things. Many men and women of God throughout history had different methods of performing miracles, even in the Bible, so I'd say we shouldn't knock deliverances/moves of the spirit that happen in other forms yk?. Other people are more aggressive towards the demons, others are more calm, others don't say anything at all and just confront the spirit in silence. My heart broke for that dear sister being tormented by demons, but so happy that Jesus Christ brought her to this church fellowship and I’m so thankful that the pastor is so caring, full of the love of the Father. He remained peaceful and calm throughout and I love how as a pastor and a church they treated that poor woman with dignity and respect and kindness and how they took her aside to pray for her healing and deliverance. This same thing happened to me at a different church in Australia... During the last song before the sermon I fell down and started screaming... I begun to shout in a gutter voice, "He doesn't love me" I never believed God's love could reach me. Others yes, but not me. Since then I have had no doubt that God is real and that He loves me ❤️ During this time I shouted my sins and things I needed to renounce and no one has ever brought them up or reminded me of them... I'm so grateful ❤️

No, it means either he has no clue what he's up against or it is fake, which is what I believe. But you would NEVER let the congregation hug it out with a possessed person. In fact, you would clear the church except for the ministry if they were prepared for it. By the way, a demonic spirit has to be cast out, not sung to and hugged.
Happened at church yesterday to a young man. Youth were still in the meeting and were shaken. Two strong young men lifted him gently and carried him into another room and prayed. The young man was delivered in the name of Jesus

This preacher is so calm and has the gift of gentleness but still has the authority of Jesus Christ in his words and prayers. What a powerful church. Satan doesn't bother to manifest in churches that are dying as they are no threat to him. So wonderful to see Christ reigning in all these people Amen Jesus has the power over Satan. A few years ago I happened to be the only customer in the bank at the time and I heard screaming behind me saying, "Everyone get on the floor". I turned and I had a shotgun pointed at me. I did the same thing Dr Ed did, I kept saying out loud, "In the name of Jesus" over and over. The criminals stole $36,000 and left. I did not get hurt at all and the bad guys got caught and arrested moments later about a 1 mile from the bank. God is so good to me and I praise the Lord!

It's been many years since I have been in church and even questioned my belief in god but immediately upon watching this i was sobbing out loud the spirit washed over me very hard.

I went to a teen conference one time ( as an adult) and I was standing in the back as the preacher got finished with a message using the name of Jesus over and over again. Then we all started singing a song, again with the name of Jesus over and over, when suddenly this young man jumped up near the front and screamed I can’t take the name of Jesus anymore and took off screaming running toward me to the front doors, screaming and sobbing at the same time running past the doors and on out the building. Right behind him was one of the men helpers that night. It was amazing. I noticed him again the next night in a much better way.

But I’m not and it’s frustrating and I’m seeking a way to believe. I haven’t found it in the Bible or apologists so short of God’s personal revelation the only place left to go is to those who believe and hope that they hold the missing piece. Also, it’s important to challenge bad ideas. And blaming a cause whose existence can’t be demonstrated is a bad idea. It prevents real effective help from being applied.
That woman needed deliverance. That demon was tormenting her and she went to church because her desperation. Jesus commanded the demons to come up and out of the Gadarens. He didn't kept talking about his greatness or singing. There's souls being tormented by demons every single day, we need to help them. The bible tells us how to deal with this spiritual warfare. Many latino churches do this on every Sunday basis. People who are demonized and tormented are set free by the power of the name of Jesus. Let's turn our lanterns on, let's start being the light, let's start being the salt of the earth.
I'm not sure why you think the woman wasn't delivered from her spiritual afflictions. But it's not a good idea to cast a devil out of a person just because it is in them. Some people simply do not have a desire to follow Jesus Christ and are determined not to follow him. If a devil were to be cast out of such a person it would only come back later and bring numerous other devils with it. Then the person would end up in a much worse condition than what they were in before it was cast out of them.
@@johnnywhite4341 we are called to build Gods kingdom and to do that we need to be baptized in the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit cannot encounter us fully if we hold bitterness onto someone who hurt us. We need to be delivered by what ever spirit is trying to hold us down from doing what God has called us to do and be. The spirit needs to be sent to the Fire pits of Hell. They won’t come back..but, we will still be in spiritual warfare. That doesn’t matter anymore because we received the baptism of the Holy Ghost and we have a weapon to fight the evil spirits with which is praying in Tongues. It is indeed a blessing to be delivered from what ever spirit has attached from you. So that you may prosper to be what the Lord calls you to be.
I would read Matthew 12:43-45. If a person is not filled with the Holy Spirit and accepts Christ as their Lord and savior, they will be worse off after being delivered.
Had the same experience and boy it was really scary. I was starting out as a young Christian year 2001 and the evil one knew im ready to serve and it tried to pluck me out Came from church for a Life in the Spirt seminar and came back home and i forgot something, going upstairs a boombox just turn up so loud blurting “ the devil is in the house, the devil is in the house. Frightened and shaken i was still able to shout out loud, “ in the name of Jesus satan i rebuke you and get out of this house” Music just stopped. Checked the radio its not even plugged. So scary but there is power in the name of Jesus of Nazareth and be ready to proclaim it in our battle with the evil forces, plus of course the armour of GOD.
Thank you for this. I started to think it was me imagining things. I had a family member who doesn't believe and kept telling me to see a doctor etc... The phone in my home started ringing and beeping at the same time at night. I think was trying to torment me because I received news of my grandmother's passing past midnight. I also once felt a presence lift one carpark barrier gate that is out of use to prove its point.

That's so true and so sad. That's what our congregations should be doing. I've never heard or read that the first churches had a program to be followed to the minute (so everyone can get to the restaurant before the church down the street dismisses). It's pathetic how far the church has strayed from what we're really to be doing...our Father's business.

I've seen crusades in Africa where they have to haul all the demon possessed individuals to a tent on the side because they cause a scene and distract from peoples' worship. I think this pastor did an excellent job by not giving spotlight to the demonic attack and deliverance itself, but instead putting their focus on the spiritual realities and the power of the name of Jesus with gentleness and peace.

-3 decades ago I attended a Pentecostal service with a friend of mine who was dying of cancer. Ten minutes into the prayer service I got so hot I started sweating a ton and couldn't concentrate, feeling so much emotional pressure crushing in on me from the fervor of it all. It was bad. Looking back on that night I wished I hadn't fought the Spirit so hard. It eventually became a joyful celebration once I'd decided to join the congregation and pray/sing with them. My life took a different path that night.
That was me yesterday!! Sweating profusely but then totally surrendering to the Holy Spirit!! God has me on an accelerated healing journey right now that’s leaving me hungry and thirsty for Him!
I grew up seeing all this when my parents were in ministry... Although others get scared that demon can NOT touch you and it has NO power when it comes Jesus...

You can’t just cast out demons just like that , the person has to want to accept Jesus first. Because if you cast out a spirit and the person doesn’t consent or want Jesus the enemy will bring a lot more demonic spirits to fill him or her back up.

We battle demons everyday but with the power of the power spirit victory is done!! I do deliverance almost daily, two to three in a day but I love watching Jesus free people! Glory to God. Did they not hear him say that there was a team of people with her, caring for her, loving her? I was there when this happened I remember hearing a woman yelling I thought she was crying at first and then yelling because she was overwhelmed with emotion but then the screen started to scare me I remember holding on tight to my boyfriend at the time because it freaked me out but I love how Dr Ed Newton and his team come together in prayer an anointed people with oil ❤️❤️❤️
It was a demon being expelled. She wasn't being attacked, something in her was leaving because of the atmosphere of worship y'all were in. If the presence of God is that heavy in the building just from worship then more demonic encounters like that are going to happen. Serious question: How come this never happens at a Walmart? Walmart gets more people daily than a church does on one day. Walmart gets significantly more unbeliever and criminal patrons. A church is filled with mostly Christians. Statistically, demonic possession should be witnessed at a Walmart all the time. But it never happens. Why does it happen at a church?

I was at this service with my husband and son. It was scary but Pastor Ed could not have been more calm and full of grace for this woman. We prayed over her and kept praising Jesus name! I felt such a peace in that room after the service. I believe we eradicated an evil spirit that morning

I agree and I love Pastor Ed but I am really confused why they didn't deliver her on the spot. "Praying over her" is not the same thing as casting out demons. The disciples cast out in public, there's no reason to keep it behind closed doors.
When pastors cast out demons, they don’t do it in the middle of the congregation. Not because they don’t want to scare anyone, but because they are protecting the rest of the flock. Not everyone in that room is saved or has the faith that demons fear. These people are vulnerable to whatever comes out of the original victim. Pastor Ed really handled this situation well.
Here’s the thing God’s timing is important in deliverance. Had he “shudaboughtahonda” what if 7 more would have come back in the place of that one?! You think laying hands is what casts out demons but exactly what Pastor Ed did is exactly what Jesus did. Jesus didn’t lay hands on the possessed he told the demons to flee! Your comment contains the most discernment. I couldn’t even hear the words, yet I knew it was a spirit of abandonment. I felt it in my spirit, like I was hearing an abandoned child. I told my wife, 15 years ago that this kind of spiritual warfare would intensify in the coming years, because of the generation we live in. I’m a very devout Christian and am in ministry myself. With that said, this world - or the great deceiver who is in it - has caused me to be skeptical about anything like this that I see. A fellow church member tells a story of attending a popular traveling evangelist’s healing service in the 80s, and seated next to her was a woman who was acting so nervously that the lady I know finally asked her what was wrong. She said she was just nervous, because she was one of the paid actors who was going to be “healed” later. God is real and Satan is real. I have no doubt about that. I always have serious doubts about the legitimacy of things such as this.
I can understand why you may be skeptical. Unfortunately, there are some "ministers" that do that. This manifestation seemed legit to me. Demons do manifest like that sometimes or in other ways likecwrithing on the floor like a snake. I am on my church's deliverance team, I've seen & heard some things. The Pastor needed to take his authority and command it to stop disrupting the service in Jesus name. I guarantee the people that come to us for help are not paid actors. It's usually about 3 hours of work. We don't permit demonic shenigans in our deliverance sessions. We take authority over the demon(s) in the name of Jesus and command it/them to stop and come out in Jesus name. This Pastor may not know this part of his authority in Jesus.
This doesn't appear to be a charismatic church that "performs", & puts on a show. For that reason I believe this was real. He even acknowledged the people who probably felt uncomfortable by it. I was married to a Satanist & didn't know it for 7 years. There were signs. Definitely. But I was spiritually ignorant, until I completely turned my life over to God. But I saw him manifest demons. I was part of his deliverance. It was sudden & unexpected on my part. It was unlike anything I'd ever seen before. He started spitting like a snake & growling like an animal. His eyes rolled up into his head, as my brother took him by his arm, & maneuvered him out of his chair, & onto the floor. He continued to growl & spit as we read scripture from Revelation over him, took authority over demons, & prayed. His shirt rolled up, & it literally looked like he had about a dozen snakes writhing around under the skin on his back. Eventually he came to, & came to his senses again. He had no memory of what took place.
Some years ago, I had returned to the city where I grew up, and decided to join my original pastors' youngest son's church. My childhood best friend invited me to go along with them to our Church's final two days and nights of our Tri-State council. On Saturday, at the final evening service it had been high powered singing and young ministers speaking, then a minister asked if anyone wanted to come up and be prayed for, which included annointing each one with oil. Just about all the young members and young visitors lined up for that, not sure how many there were left after this one young lady who had been in line near the rear, but that young woman, at the very moment the minister touched her temple with the annointing oil, let out a sound, sort of like a roaring, she began to hiss and fight, it took several ministers coming out of the pulpit because she was twisting her body and tossing those menfolk around who were trying to restrain her. All of the minsters' wives were sitting on that first pew, the wives were directed to move, then they wrestled that young lady to that pew, still trying to restrain her, she was a tiny little somebody. I couldn't believe how strong that little lady was. I was standing in the next pew, I saw her eyes seeming to change to several colors, I heard her saying something in a deep gutteral voice, I am not sure if the ministers were attempting to restrain her and not hurt her or if they just couldn't. Then my pastor walked up, and told all the pastors to step back, he pressed his hand to her forehead, and litterally commanded her to stop, at first she only stopped the fighting, but kept on growling and snarling, then my pastor called her by I guess her name, he told her again, I command you in the name of Jesus to stop Right Now. She stopped immediately and began to wimper. Pastor motioned for the ministers to gather around them, he took the oil and once again annointed her head, she jerked and wimpered a little, grew very still and fell back against the seat like she'd fainted, eventually she seemed to come back to mormal, but did not recall anything, even where she was at. I'd never witnessed anything like that in my entire life.
I witnessed demonic attacks in the church before when a man came in after an evening service and in a fit of rage , angry looking face ,started yelling curses to the pastor and the congregation saying that we were all evil and serving the devil ! He was a Christian brother who used to isolate himself from family and friends and he was being attacked and used by the devils lies . We prayed and he calmed down and we helped him get restored in faith . He had a similar fit of rage at work yelling “ you church goers are evil “ and “ I was there when I shoved the bodies of the Jews in the ovens “ . These words revealed that he was dealing a demon for sure ! Beware , the devil can and does attack weak Christian’s . We need to keep our spiritual eyes open and pray about these things. Chances are you’re going to see more enemy attacks at church than in the world because the devil hides but the Holy Spirit reacts with power to purge His congregation from evil . I was almost killed by a demon possessed man . The demon didn’t respect the name of Jesus but it did respect the Power of the Holy Spirit which I believe is what saved me !

I was at a service where demons got cast out of someone. First this guy came down to the front, and started screaming and crying at the top of his lungs. Then half the church cleared out in less than 5 minutes. Then everyone left went up front, cast the demon out, and since then, every time I have seen him, he has the biggest smile on his face, because he is free.
The half that got up and left revealed themselves as non believers. Those that believe in christ do not fear such things, or even death itself.

The Church service isn't for casting out demons s. It is a place where we worship God almighty.
Holy Spirit uses different people in different ways to do different things. Many men and women of God throughout history had different methods of performing miracles, even in the Bible, so I'd say we shouldn't knock deliverances/moves of the spirit that happen in other forms yk?. Other people are more aggressive towards the demons, others are more calm, others don't say anything at all and just confront the spirit in silence. I did the same thing Dr Ed did, I kept saying out loud, "In the name of Jesus" over and over. The criminals stole $36,000 and left. I did not get hurt at all and the bad guys got caught and arrested moments later about a 1 mile from the bank. God is so good to me and I praise the Lord!

I went to a teen conference one time ( as an adult) and I was standing in the back as the preacher got finished with a message using the name of Jesus over and over again. Then we all started singing a song, again with the name of Jesus over and over, when suddenly this young man jumped up near the front and screamed I can’t take the name of Jesus anymore and took off screaming running toward me to the front doors, screaming and sobbing at the same time running past the doors and on out the building. Right behind him was one of the men helpers that night. It was amazing. I noticed him again the next night in a much better way.

I haven’t found it in the Bible or apologists so short of God’s personal revelation the only place left to go is to those who believe and hope that they hold the missing piece.
Also, it’s important to challenge bad ideas. And blaming a cause whose existence can’t be demonstrated is a bad idea. It prevents real effective help from being applied.
That woman needed deliverance. That demon was tormenting her and she went to church because her desperation. Jesus commanded the demons to come up and out of the Gadarens. He didn't kept talking about his greatness or singing. There's souls being tormented by demons every single day, we need to help them. The bible tells us how to deal with this spiritual warfare.
Many latino churches do this on every Sunday basis. People who are demonized and tormented are set free by the power of the name of Jesus. Let's turn our lanterns on, let's start being the light, let's start being the salt of the earth.
I'm not sure why you think the woman wasn't delivered from her spiritual afflictions.
But it's not a good idea to cast a devil out of a person just because it is in them.
Some people simply do not have a desire to follow Jesus Christ and are determined not to follow him.
If a devil were to be cast out of such a person it would only come back later and bring numerous other devils with it.
Then the person would end up in a much worse condition than what they were in before it was cast out of them.

The Holy Spirit cannot encounter us fully if we hold bitterness onto someone who hurt us. We need to be delivered by what ever spirit is trying to hold us down from doing what God has called us to do and be. The spirit needs to be sent to the Fire pits of Hell. They won’t come back..but, we will still be in spiritual warfare. That doesn’t matter anymore because we received the baptism of the Holy Ghost and we have a weapon to fight the evil spirits with which is praying in Tongues. It is indeed a blessing to be delivered from what ever spirit has attached from you. So that you may prosper to be what the Lord calls you to be.

-3 decades ago I attended a Pentecostal service with a friend of mine who was dying of cancer. Ten minutes into the prayer service I got so hot I started sweating a ton and couldn't concentrate, feeling so much emotional pressure crushing in on me from the fervor of it all. It was bad. Looking back on that night I wished I hadn't fought the Spirit so hard. It eventually became a joyful celebration once I'd decided to join the congregation and pray/sing with them. My life took a different path that night.
That was me yesterday!! Sweating profusely but then totally surrendering to the Holy Spirit!! God has me on an accelerated healing journey right now that’s leaving me hungry and thirsty for Him!

I was at this service with my husband and son. It was scary but Pastor Ed could not have been more calm and full of grace for this woman. We prayed over her and kept praising Jesus name! I felt such a peace in that room after the service. I believe we eradicated an evil spirit that morning

I agree and I love Pastor Ed but I am really confused why they didn't deliver her on the spot. "Praying over her" is not the same thing as casting out demons. The disciples cast out in public, there's no reason to keep it behind closed doors.

When pastors cast out demons, they don’t do it in the middle of the congregation. Not because they don’t want to scare anyone, but because they are protecting the rest of the flock. Not everyone in that room is saved or has the faith that demons fear. These people are vulnerable to whatever comes out of the original victim. Pastor Ed really handled this situation well.
Here’s the thing God’s timing is important in deliverance. Had he “shudaboughtahonda” what if 7 more would have come back in the place of that one?! You think laying hands is what casts out demons but exactly what Pastor Ed did is exactly what Jesus did. Jesus didn’t lay hands on the possessed he told the demons to flee! And on top of that Pastor Ed has to look out for the others in the room so that the spirit doesn’t enter into anyone else who may be vulnerable. There are children and unbelievers in the room.

I told my wife, 15 years ago that this kind of spiritual warfare would intensify in the coming years, because of the generation we live in. I’m a very devout Christian and am in ministry myself. With that said, this world - or the great deceiver who is in it - has caused me to be skeptical about anything like this that I see. A fellow church member tells a story of attending a popular traveling evangelist’s healing service in the 80s, and seated next to her was a woman who was acting so nervously that the lady I know finally asked her what was wrong. She said she was just nervous, because she was one of the paid actors who was going to be “healed” later. God is real and Satan is real. I have no doubt about that. I always have serious doubts about the legitimacy of things such as this.
I can understand why you may be skeptical. Unfortunately, there are some "ministers" that do that. This manifestation seemed legit to me. Demons do manifest like that sometimes or in other ways likecwrithing on the floor like a snake. I am on my church's deliverance team, I've seen & heard some things. The Pastor needed to take his authority and command it to stop disrupting the service in Jesus name.
I guarantee the people that come to us for help are not paid actors. It's usually about 3 hours of work.
We don't permit demonic shenigans in our deliverance sessions. We take authority over the demon(s) in the name of Jesus and command it/them to stop and come out in Jesus name.
This Pastor may not know this part of his authority in Jesus.
Facts. Finally a common sense post in here. So many people jumping on the demon bandwagon.
This doesn't appear to be a charismatic church that "performs", & puts on a show.
For that reason I believe this was real. He even acknowledged the people who probably felt uncomfortable by it.
I was married to a Satanist & didn't know it for 7 years. There were signs. Definitely. But I was spiritually ignorant, until I completely turned my life over to God.
But I saw him manifest demons. I was part of his deliverance. It was sudden & unexpected on my part. It was unlike anything I'd ever seen before. He started spitting like a snake & growling like an animal. His eyes rolled up into his head, as my brother took him by his arm, & maneuvered him out of his chair, & onto the floor. He continued to growl & spit as we read scripture from Revelation over him, took authority over demons, & prayed. His shirt rolled up, & it literally looked like he had about a dozen snakes writhing around under the skin on his back.
Eventually he came to, & came to his senses again. He had no memory of what took place.

With a big amphitheater like this, I’m not surprised it being staged. Sounds like it was a little kid crying for their mom.

Some years ago, I had returned to the city where I grew up, and decided to join my original pastors' youngest son's church. My childhood best friend invited me to go along with them to our Church's final two days and nights of our Tri-State council. On Saturday, at the final evening service it had been high powered singing and young ministers speaking, then a minister asked if anyone wanted to come up and be prayed for, which included annointing each one with oil. Just about all the young members and young visitors lined up for that, not sure how many there were left after this one young lady who had been in line near the rear, but that young woman, at the very moment the minister touched her temple with the annointing oil, let out a sound, sort of like a roaring, she began to hiss and fight, it took several ministers coming out of the pulpit because she was twisting her body and tossing those menfolk around who were trying to restrain her. All of the minsters' wives were sitting on that first pew, the wives were directed to move, then they wrestled that young lady to that pew, still trying to restrain her, she was a tiny little somebody. I couldn't believe how strong that little lady was. I was standing in the next pew, I saw her eyes seeming to change to several colors, I heard her saying something in a deep gutteral voice, I am not sure if the ministers were attempting to restrain her and not hurt her or if they just couldn't. Then my pastor walked up, and told all the pastors to step back, he pressed his hand to her forehead, and litterally commanded her to stop, at first she only stopped the fighting, but kept on growling and snarling, then my pastor called her by I guess her name, he told her again, I command you in the name of Jesus to stop Right Now. She stopped immediately and began to wimper. Pastor motioned for the ministers to gather around them, he took the oil and once again annointed her head, she jerked and wimpered a little, grew very still and fell back against the seat like she'd fainted, eventually she seemed to come back to mormal, but did not recall anything, even where she was at. I'd never witnessed anything like that in my entire life.
I witnessed demonic attacks in the church before when a man came in after an evening service and in a fit of rage , angry looking face ,started yelling curses to the pastor and the congregation saying that we were all evil and serving the devil ! He was a Christian brother who used to isolate himself from family and friends and he was being attacked and used by the devils lies . We prayed and he calmed down and we helped him get restored in faith . He had a similar fit of rage at work yelling “ you church goers are evil “ and “ I was there when I shoved the bodies of the Jews in the ovens “ . These words revealed that he was dealing a demon for sure ! Beware , the devil can and does attack weak Christian’s . We need to keep our spiritual eyes open and pray about these things. Chances are you’re going to see more enemy attacks at church than in the world because the devil hides but the Holy Spirit reacts with power to purge His congregation from evil . I was almost killed by a demon possessed man . The demon didn’t respect the name of Jesus but it did respect the Power of the Holy Spirit which I believe is what saved me !
Tell me, how does a Christian who has the Holy Spirit living within him also be possessed by a demon?
People that have become "Luke-warm" in their faith in God are subject to demon attacks. Only those wearing the full armor of God can fight them off! 💪
