Right up near the Yankee Globe on the right side there is a spring coming out of one of the adits. Just to the left of the spring there is dark red weathered outcrop. Try some of that dark red material next time. That is a ROUGH road: hardcore Jeep only.
Thanks for the visit to one of my favorite prospecting and exploring areas. Still as beautiful as ever. I suspect that those tailings piles are where most of the gold found in the American Fork River come from.
What ya think about lower, just past the east side of tibble resivore I do t have a 4x4 I’d wanna take much further Just curious if it’s worth sluicing

Have you joined Utah Gold Prospecting club? They have a claim down on the little Sevier Creek that’s also next to a GPAA claims. I might head down there next month.

The gold recovery was 0.0 grams. But we did find very nice chalcopyrite and galena specimens.

Extremely small amount. No weight. Maybe the sluice was too fast. We found some chalcopyrite and galena specimens. That will be the target next trip.
