The real ones are certainly a real piece of work! Tyres may be ok if only used of road

After talking myself out of getting the tracks for my TRX4 you had to pull me back in! Or maybe I will get that Tamiya LandFreeder Quadtrack. Any change you will take a look at the Quadtrack?
I’m not sure if the Tamiya is that capable, it looks a bit rigid
I would definitely love to see more of RC trail truck/crawler on those muddy place.

Good to see the Sherp out and about. I follow RC Sherp on insta and I'm always dawning over their latest builds. Glad the wheel is fixed although even whilst bust the Sherp did amazing.

I’m going to make a fake TRX4 out of a MN99s over winter and hope for a budget crawler.
Maybe a small brushless motor new esc etc.

What servos would you recommend for Tamiya kits?
I am looking for something not too expensive but that works. I don't need anything to powerful only for light running in the garden
I got some from Amazon but they were useless they would move on their own and the control was hopeless.sent them back for a refund
The Red 25kg ones on Banggood or Aliexpress... cost about £10/$10 and work a treat!

That Sherp is awesome for sure and I like that trx4 how do you like that traction hobby 550 can motor? I have a traction hobby 1/8 scale crawler the brabus g550 with the flysky noble 8 channel radio I really like that rc
Mine has the 775 can motor but I want to upgrade to a 1/8 brush less castle creations system.
The Traction Hobby motor seems to have plenty of Torque. I’d like to get a Cragsman at some point

Great coverage on that amazing Sherp model, I've wanted to see more footy of it since it first hit. I just finished 3d printing and buying all the parts needed to build a 1/32nd Sherp from a designer called Wid. It's a tank-steer, dual N20 motor setup that I'm looking forward to running with C24's and other little guys. Thanks for sharing this!

Sweet video. My Chassis 19 Sherp has just got back after some upgrades… and he has a support vehicle ‘mate’ too - an Axial UMG 6x6 that carries a spare Sherp wheel! You could’ve used that…….

The sherp also can run with extremely low tyre pressures which can be adjusted on the fly which could make a huge soft ground difference in traction

2 great cars. The Sherp is something else. It looks like the mud clearance is an issue? Was that what popped the tyre off and broke the wheel? The TRX looks awesome with the Traxx on it. Never really fancied them myself.... until now!! 😂👍🏻
It glides across the mud due to the nice flat surface area underneath. The wheel rim split... just glued it back together... seem of for now

Mine was about £500 to my door.. but that was pre Covid and I think with shipping and material costs they have gone up about £100 or so
