I still can’t believe their production people didn’t say, “Hey, let’s get good video of this since we are getting all the audio.” Then the sales manager says, “Great idea!!! We can package it and make a great immersive DVD experience!!” Talking about falling asleep at the wheel!
Saw the show in Baltimore. One of the greatest concerts I have seen. I'll have to confess though - when I first heard that they were playing ONLY "The Astonishing" in it's entirety on this tour, I was slightly hesitant early on, since I also like seeing them play tunes from previous albums, as well. But when I saw this show live, it was mind-blowing, and I'm glad I got to experience it.
matt k saw them on the final performance of the tour, they took 5 songs away and added 3 classics, As I Am, The Spirit Carries On and Pull Me Under, such a great show!
I was at this show, travelled a long way to see and was not disappointed, probably the best time I have heard James sing ever. It's a shame we'll never see this show again. I wish the band could do some studio version where they play through it in full with live video shown in between.
And then the dude yelled out something about Mangini and got a much bigger response. I just wish we all knew the lyrics and were able to sing along when Labrie asked =p
I wish i was be able to go, but dude, the album is just perfection, i love every song, every piece of art. I listened so many times yet, that I already know his respirations xD
OK, which idiot let that Robbie Williams/ James Dean Bradfield lovechild on stage basically ripping off Rush's 2112 song to ruin the cool music up to 07:38?

Saw them in Berlin. Dystopian Overture is such a great opener

galaper I also saw the Baltimore show. Simply Astonishing!
I love the Dystopian Overture! One section (with the choir singing) has drum beats similar to Overture 1928's. Great work DT!

I love this fucking opening!
DMXP100 saw several live videos of it here on TH-cam, the real thing was even more mind-blowing
Mangini
Great show. I was lucky to attend it. Anybody remember when some guy in the middle of the audience yelled "Where's Mike Portnoy?" Funny time.
And then the dude yelled out something about Mangini and got a much bigger response. I just wish we all knew the lyrics and were able to sing along when Labrie asked =p
I was able to sing along because I spent the last couple of months listening to the whole album. Some life I have lol.
It's cool dude; I wish I had the attention span to listen to that album more. It's great, it's just so dense and long, it's a lot to take in.
I've listened to it multiple times over. It's not easy, but it is worth it!

I wish they come to Spain with this tour :'(
3:23 watch Mike Mangini! He's so funny!
Hes such a wise guy😉😂😂😎
why would james labrie write parts that he cant even sing without being flat
Swag Like Caillou He doesn’t write his vocal melodies or for this album lyrics either. John and Jordan did
Labrie sounds pretty good here.
jos
The band looks better without LeBrei
Imo, it's time to Labrie to leave, his vocals are horrible.
