But just like how Cu was once summoned as a Caster despite him still saying he would like to use spear, Atalanta Alter is a Berserker just for the fact that the Grail chose it due to her having some kind of Madness in her.
If I recall, Van Gogh is inside the girl who is a Dryad or Nymph if I recall. The Old ones just wanna have Van Gogh but Van Gogh will do anything to kill himself so they put him on this girl (if I remember, she's madly in-love with Helios or Apollo and she will do anything to keep livin') which makes sense. Her Skills and NP has Curse demerits because of Van Gogh's insistance to commit not alive.

Her name was Clytie Apollo's lover, she became jealous because she was deprived of her love by Leucothea, the daughter of Orcamos, the King of Persia, and destroyed his lover by praise. However she tried to regain Apollo's love in vain. In the end she kept looking up at the sun and finally turned herself into a flower. Unlike most fusion servants Gogh is unique due to Clytie and Van Gogh being so similar in personality. Though it’s mostly Clytie we see with Van Gogh’s memory’s and another part is just imaginary numbers more less. Either way she is quite interesting and I just want to hug, comfort, and cook for her. (Mostly because I’m cooking all the time with no one around to enjoy it with).

Yeah likely because she has gogh memories stuffed inside and likely overwritting her own. She has no line for any greek servant which is rare cause usually servants have at least one line to someone from their place of origin. She sounds like she is in pain from her patchwork components warring with each other. If I could make a wish on the Holy Grail, it would be to free her of the mental instability, and give her the help she needs. Perhaps a vain, arrogant desire, but I can’t leave someone in such pain to suffer alone.
The truly sad part is that if you wished that, well then the easiest way to do that is logically to split the servant, right? The problem comes from two key things (ignoring the flower shaped space thing in the corner) First, that Clytie has NOTHING that makes her a Heroic Spirit, and is being held together as a Servant almost entirely because of Van Gogh's framework. Well, Boudica herself didn't do respectful things in her life either, I find funny that a lot of people thinks of her character as pure Queen who got hurt by Nero/Romans and etc, but in fact, she committed a lot of atrocities with innocent people too. At the end of the day, Boudica herself says that she would rather not show you (Gudao/Gudako) her Avenger form, I think this should have ended the fandom asking for an Avenger Boudica.

Plus, her Rider version is rather underwhelming as a Servant and players want a "better and stronger" version of her, which Avenger Boudica likely would be since she's doing what she was most well known for, taking bloody vengeance against Rome for their crimes against the Iceni.

She's similar to Sakura Matou in Heaven's feel like both Sakura and Van Gogh tried to rid themselves to save others but the beings like Angra Mainyu and Outer God Clytie forbids it and allowed their vessels to live for their own desires

@@HandleDeeezNutz The thing is, while Der Stellenacht can buff Foreigners (this is why the Outer Gods want him), Vincent's disdain towards the Outer Gods is too ingrained in him by the time he was recorded into the Throne of Heroes. In fact, if he were summoned, he won't hesitate to off himself to avoid eldritch powers getting on him (it is actually why Vulthoom forced him into Clytie's Spirit Origin to avoid that scenario) If DW and TM possibly give as the true Vincent Van Gogh, his skills and NP might have a large chance to have an anti- foreigner trait.
I think they're meant to be warped stems of a plant, to symbolise Clytie's transformation into a sunflower in her legend. That's just my speculation, though.

Despite all the berserkers in the game, this is the first servant that genuinely feels mentally unwell to me.
