"Grilled shrimp has entered the chat" 🤣 Much respect to you for filming yourself eating at a table with strangers, my introverted self already has an awkward time sitting at a shared table!!
I love that you read every comment Molly! Thank you for bringing back the "It's been magical". You made my day when I heard you say it a few videos back. 💜
Lol I’m obsessed with the fact that you pointed out how awkward it is to film yourself eating infront of a table of random strangers, you know that’s what we’re all thinking lol!! Also the eaves dropping was so on point 🤣
I loved the place, and happened to be seated with some people from my actual hometown in Texas, so it was old home week! No complaints for me about Tappan Edo!
My son has a sesame allergy and I knew I could trust Disney to work with us. Seeing his face the first time he had hibachi was priceless. It is our go to just because of the special care they take. Plus those volcano rolls right? My absolute favorite!
my husband wore his favorite authentic DragonBall with Japanese writing. The high point of his Epcot day was when the castmember from Japan read his shirt and complimented him. he had been miserable from wet feet and we'd just gotten him dry sox from Mitsokoshi (DragonBall). Her kindness and genuine interest turned his day around
I’m at home being blown away, but the people at your table didn’t even crack a smile at the onion (calamari?) volcano 🤣 I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they got off Mission Space minutes before and were rethinking their dining reservation timing.
Totally agree with your sentiments about there being so many other choices at Epcot! When I dined there 10 years ago it was still great! However it’s so hard to justify eating there when a food festival is taking place. And I’m probably in the minority, but I love dining and chatting with other people! For me, that’s part of the fun of vacations, is meeting other folks from different parts of the country and/or world! Seeing how the love of Disney brings people together is so amazing to me 💕
This is by far my family's favorite restaurant at Disney. We love the meal, the atmosphere, the chefs' antics...all of it! And I don't leave there feeling heavy, it's a really good healthy kind of meal for Disney. It's beyond my understanding that the family at your table was not even slightly amused. I smile through the whole thing! If we ever do have to sit with strangers, we find that they generally ignore us, which is kind of sad! LOL Another great video- thank you!
Wonderful vlog and how entertaining to be able to watch this talented chef prepare your delicious food tableside!! 🤩 Another bonus in making meal reservations a Teppan Edo in the evening is that you could get a great view of Harmonious from that balcony afterwards!! 🎆
Our family loved Teppan Edo. We actually don't have any hibachi places where we live, so it is a unique dining experience for us. We always book one special "splurge" meal each trip, so for us, it is part of the vacation. While we love the festival dining, it is nice to sit down once at a restaurant each Disney vacation. The food at Teppan Edo was delicious. We would go back!
Molly feeling a little awkward makes me feel better about feeling awkward when I film in the parks! Also it was nice of you to blur the kid’s face. I don’t know if they asked but nice to see.
We love Teppan Edo and have eaten there many times on the dining plan with the family and a few times since they paused the dining plan when we are just the two of us. I agree that initially sitting at a table with total strangers is uncomfortable but its not hateful. Especially if you have friendly people who are willing to chat. It helps to put everyone at ease. And chop sticks? Forget it! My husband is pretty adept at using them but I also shamefully accept a fork! lol. Thanks for the review Molly. We love watching you and find you very entertaining!
Tappan Edo is the first hibachi dining that I ever experienced and one of the most memorable meals of my entire life. The food was also tremendous, but I was not a sushi eater at that time.
My husband and I love hibachi dining. And it never fails that we get seated with people who are ahead of us drinking wise, and the conversations that we shamelessly listen in on are hilarious!
My son's first trip to WDW was May 1997. We got off the plane and went directly to Teppan Edo for lunch. His very first Disney meal. The kid used (modified) chopsticks and everything.
This is one of my favourite restaurants in all of Disney. Considering we only get to go to Disney about once a year, its definitely a must-do for us when we are there 🏆🙌🏻
I know exactly what you mean about over hearing other people's conversations when you are alone. I have travelled solo for nearly 15 years and it still amazes me what you hear. No my fav food, but a great vlog as always Molly. Cannot wait till my solo trip next year 😊
Molly, I’m glad you touched on the chunk of time it takes to sit and eat there. We ate here back in the day and probably won’t go back. The food was great and we had fun, but we were in there for like 3.5 hours I think. Not the place to go if you’re on a shorter vacation and have a packed itinerary.
Hey Molly, if you see this, I hope someday you make a video that shows off all the non alcoholic drinks available on property! I know you love your fancy drinks, but I never plan to drink so I think it'd make a great video! Plus there are those in the world who can't drink so just wanted to throw that out there! Loved your review, I have a Hibachi restaurant near me but I will consider trying this someday!
Thank you so much Molly for all of your videos. My family and I visited Disney recently and the info that we get from your vids is invaluable. You cannot just "wing it" you have to have a plan and you are the best source for all the needed knowledge. Great Job!!
Oh also my suggestion for the next restaurant, I’m glad you asked bc I just got back from Disney and before I left I was looking for food reviews and I always go to your channel first and I couldn’t believe how many haven’t been done yet!! So my top suggestion would be Toledo at Coronado Springs!
You are actually helping me with my hideous summer diet. I watch your eating videos at mealtime and can actually fool myself that my boring diet food is delicious Disney food. Thank you for the service! ✨
We were just there end of March. It’s the one place my kids can’t order macaroni and cheese and chicken nuggets and they enjoy the food. So it’s a must for our trips. We also snagged fruishi for our dessert just before enchantment. It was perfect! Also glad to know I didn’t miss much by skipping the matcha tiramisu.
I am always amazed how popular this is when you consider the fact that hibachi restaurants are all over. It looked great though especially the volcano roll. I appreciated how they paid close attention to food allergies; the app doesn’t list the allergy menu though. Argh.
We love watching you! I think this was the day we met you in Epcot when you were with Breedlove. My little guy Sam (he had on a Nemo shirt) loves watching you. :) And sorry Breedlove for not realizing it was you that was talking to Molly. Loved this review!
Great video!!! Molly, your comments (pros and cons) are always spot on. BTW - great job with the chopsticks with some pretty slippery food (especially when it was all mixed together). This is only one of maybe a couple sit down restaurants at Epcot that I personally think is worth the "time investment", but that is, of course, MHO... Keep up the terrific work - y'all are appreciated!!!
I'm late to this video but since you said you read all the comments here I am. That dude sitting across from you looked so pissed off that it ruined watching the chef lol! 😂 The awkwardness literally made me giggle 🤭 Thanks for all you do!! You really helped my family through the pandemic! 💙
As an East Asian person, I say, there's no shame in asking for a fork! Do what you have to to enjoy your meal! My dad grew up in Hong Kong but now prefers to use a fork at home, even when eating Chinese food. If you do want to get more comfortable with chopsticks, practice makes perfect. Chopsticks can be especially useful for cooking, no matter the cuisine, so that might be an opportunity to get used to them without having to make a big deal out of it.
We're in disney World at the moment from the UK. We're going to Teppan Edo this evening but not till 8.50 so not wasting park time. My 13 year old grandson loved it last time when he was 9.
Teppan Edo was a one-and-done for us. The food was just ok. But we enjoy the food at our local hibachi much better. Not upset that we tried it, but won’t eat there again. Thank for the fun video.
My family ate here in December and we all decided that we wouldn’t go back. I know it’s Disney (higher prices and catering to a larger audience), but I can get more flavor for less money locally. Too many other places in Epcot to eat that I’m not going to waste tummy space on mediocre hibachi.
my family and i ate here in march, this video got uploaded like two days after we got home ironically. we were desperately looking for an in-depth video and was sad when there wasnt a Molly review of it 😂
Once again a great review Molly! I may or may not have picked up on a couple people seated in the corner across from you who seemed to be having less than a "magical" day.
Oh my goodness! This restaurant looks so fun and the food looks delicious. I’ll have to add this spot to my family’s list of places to try on a future Epcot day. Thank you very much for this review!
Watching this video made we want Japanese food for dinner lol. I have a very vague memory of going there with my parents as a kid. We love Japanese food, and a solid hibachi meal always hits the spot. Hibachi is always pricey, but as long as the food is cooked well and the portions are satisfying, what’s not to love?
LOL, I am going to a hibachi restaurant tomorrow, (not in Disney). I love listening to other peoples stories at the table as well. Love your videos Molly!
Nice review Molly, BUT it’s teppan style not hibachi which is BBQ style. Teppan Edo is a must do for us for dinner and break from the crowds before fireworks.
Haha the listening in on the family drama..😂. We were a family of 9 eating at Le Cellier and had a family argument ( low key.. come on I mean we’re not that bad ..haha) and I’m sure the table next to us was having a field day listening in. We all laugh about it now and it always comes up when we talk about our favorite Disney memories!
OMG .. that volcano roll is to die for! I get it every time I'm there. Teppan Edo is a must for me every trip. I get it, "it's a hibachi like all the others". However I'm from a small town and my nearest hibachi is over an hour away. And even if it was close, they wouldn't have that volcano roll!! That volcano roll is so good, it worth eating with strangers. haha and I always go to Disney solo!!
Oh my that looks delicious!! Now I’m hungry 🤤 mouth is watering 🤤 Molly you really know how to present food!!!! I would not want to skip this place… but I get your point 👍👍👍👍👍
We just went here March 20th 2022. It was delicious and just what the day needed though I was not a huge fan of the miso here. The veggies and chicken were fortifying for us.. one in our party, my 15 year old daughter, was having a sugar crash after the morning donut and sugary coffee but after this healthier meal with some hot green tea to sip she felt worlds better. It was also not loud and crowded when we went so that felt nice.
Thank you for reviewing this restaurant Molly! Hope to have a chance to meet you in 2 weeks when I head to Disneyworld. Hoping to also meet Quincy and Breedlove.
Please do a review of San Angel inside the Mexico pavilion! My daughter and I are obsessed with watching your videos! We hope we get to run into you next time we go to Disney!!
This is one of our favorite restaurants in Epcot. Always a great experience. Our family always leaves full and happy. I appreciate that you blurred out the child at your tables face. I was curious if the parents requested this or if you proactively did it.
When the two of us eat dinner at communal tables (or restaurants where tables are super close together) sometimes we make up juicy things to talk about because we know people are listening...
I’m so weird that I did the math… this meal probably cost between $115-125, depending on how good a tipper Molly is ;) For a family of 4, that’s $400-500 for a meal if they all get miso, an appetizer and dessert and the grownups get cocktails.
We no longer have a habachi restaurant in our town so there is that pro for us. My son and I ate there years ago, it was my birthday week (yes I celebrate all week long) and I had a button on so they gave me a chef's hat. I still have it. I agree, I don't think I'd be comfortable eating there alone and I have no problem eating at other restaurants solo.
I love mushrooms, and would love to try it. We go there every year, but have never been to the Hibachi side. My husband was raised in Japan and absolutely will not go there......but it looks so good. I think you do fine with chopsticks -
Molly, you make me laugh out loud!!! Thank you Thank you!!!! What you do is UuuuhhhhhMazing!!! You make my day magical✨🏰✨. Love love love the trapped videos because I learn so much!! Thank you for the BEST day EVER SERIES!! And of course, your restaurant reviews are the best! Thank you for eating and talking on camera... not easy but much appreciated 🥨🧀🥩🥓🥗🥟🍱🍡🍰🧁🍨🍪🍺🍷🍸🥃🧉🍽🍴🥢🥡 Hoping to meet you on my next trip🏰🚝
My family loved this restaurant! We had the dining plan so I hope it returns. You should have taken the Allears group, Quincy, Breedlove, Alan, Duckfist, Morgan, Lindsay and Jared to fill the table! Love your videos ❤️🏯🇯🇵
Loved the food here, In the UK we don’t have Benihana unless it’s a fancy expensive one in London, so to try this style of cooking is amazing, it is expensive and I’d love to add the more expensive cuts of steak or maybe something like Bison or some time of different meat which would be cool Overall it’s a solid 8.5/10
Hibachi is one of my favorite types of restaurant but man it's hard to justify the time and cost while in Epcot when there are so many more unique options. We typically like to do Garden Grill for brunch and then snack the carts and quick service the rest of the day. That food does look seriously delicious though, maybe we'll take the leap and book a res next trip!
That food is solid. I like that Hibachi covers everyone in my family from my vegan daughter to my straight up steak and rice husband and son and for me shrimp all day long honey!
Amazing videos as always. I propose a new challenge for you and Quincy. I propose you guys do a video Challenge featuring all the hibachi places in disney world and disney springs. Thank you for sharing this. Have a great weekend
There are a few different hibachi/teppanyaki close to home for me and I try to go a few times a year. I still decided to go to Teppan Edo back in Dec 2020. It was good, but nothing special over any of the options at home. I expected something extra Disney special in the quality of the "show" over what we get at home. Sadly no better, no worse. Also, how can you do an onion ring volcano 🌋 without setting it on fire 🔥?
I would say this looks amazing however I feel like you can get 90% of this experience at any hibachi restaurant. Especially when you can eat around the world grabbing bites from multiple countries

PLEASE do Spice Road Table & Rose/Crown Fireworks Dining packages :) :) - would love to see the menu, the view and all the fun!!
I agree with this!
@@Jaclyn7979 Me too on Spice Road especially!
I loved the place, and happened to be seated with some people from my actual hometown in Texas, so it was old home week! No complaints for me about Tappan Edo!

That's adorable 🥰
Sometimes a tiny bit of kindness is all it takes to turn a bad day around. :-)
I’m at home being blown away, but the people at your table didn’t even crack a smile at the onion (calamari?) volcano 🤣
I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they got off Mission Space minutes before and were rethinking their dining reservation timing.
"Eating with other people is awkward...but it's very fun if you want to listen to other families' drama" I think you might be right lol
This is a must do for my family every disney trip! It’s such a treat and one of the only sit down places in Epcot we think is worth it.
Totally agree with your sentiments about there being so many other choices at Epcot! When I dined there 10 years ago it was still great! It's a common mistake here in the US, but this type of cooking is actually not hibachi, it is teppanyaki, hence the name of the restaurant.
Thank you for this looked it up and learned something 👍🏽
Te restaurant is called Teppan Edo, people just say hibachi cause they don’t know.
This is by far my family's favorite restaurant at Disney. We love the meal, the atmosphere, the chefs' antics...all of it! Teppan Edo is my favorite place at Epcot! We've gone between festivals and we can always count on it being delicious

Filming myself while eating next to strangers would be like my worst nightmare. Props to you Molly! You are awesome for doing that

they are great for cooking bacon
GRILLED SUSHI! 🤯 I need to try this! Thanks for sharing! I'm on the hunt near me for some grilled sushi.
I agree that the Japan pavilion is exceptionally beautiful… and that the sushi looks amazing 🤩
i’d love a video showing how you plan your content!! i think that would be so interesting
We're in disney World at the moment from the UK. We're going to Teppan Edo this evening but not till 8.50 so not wasting park time. My 13 year old grandson loved it last time when he was 9.

I just ate my lunch and watched this, totally jealous. I love thier miso soup. 😊
My family ate here in December and we all decided that we wouldn’t go back. I know it’s Disney (higher prices and catering to a larger audience), but I can get more flavor for less money locally. Too many other places in Epcot to eat that I’m not going to waste tummy space on mediocre hibachi.

So fresh and yummy! Thanks so much Molly!
We always go to Teppan Edo when visiting Disney! Love the video Molly!
LOVE LOVE LOVE and never miss Teppan Edo!!
That looks amazing. We ate at the other side over Christmas. Window view of the lake. I love that restaurant
OMG .. that volcano roll is to die for! I get it every time I'm there. Teppan Edo is a must for me every trip. I get it, "it's a hibachi like all the others". However I'm from a small town and my nearest hibachi is over an hour away. And even if it was close, they wouldn't have that volcano roll!! Hey there !!! Literally ate here last week and enjoyed every single bite!!!
Had Sake flight , spicy calamari and chicken was A-mazing ❤️❤️
I love Teppan Edo. I had almost an identical meal to what you just had and I still think about it to this day.
I have watched a few reviews of Teppan Edo, referring to it Hibachi style cooking. It is Teppanyaki style cooking because it is cooked using a Teppan.
We love your videos! We plan are trips on your reviews. Thank you for doing what you do.
Laughed at the drink to match your hair, because you have matched your nails to food before.
Also respect for blurring out the child's face.
Hi Molly from the comments!! This is definitely one of my favorite restaurants at Disney
I’m so weird that I did the math… this meal probably cost between $115-125, depending on how good a tipper Molly is ;) For a family of 4, that’s $400-500 for a meal if they all get miso, an appetizer and dessert and the grownups get cocktails.
Damn, I'm going on vacation in a few weeks and I booked a table at a very expensive restaurant and the tasting menu, a multicourse meal, is $120.
I’m a very good tipper. These cast members were amazing! 🤗❤️
Thanks for another great review! Have never eaten here but now it’s on my Must Do list!
Loved seeing this review! I've always been curious about Teppan Edo, but never been there.
Your chopsticks skill has improved. Thank you for all you and your stuffs do.😀
We no longer have a habachi restaurant in our town so there is that pro for us. My son and I ate there years ago, it was my birthday week (yes I celebrate all week long) and I had a button on so they gave me a chef's hat. I still have it. I’m the type who would rather not mingle and do small talk while eating, but if you sat down next to me, it would be a ah-mazz-ing!! 💜
Great review. That's a good way to get my hubby to Epcot since it's least favorite park.
Always love watching Molly eat !!!
I love mushrooms, and would love to try it. We go there every year, but have never been to the Hibachi side. My husband was raised in Japan and absolutely will not go there......but it looks so good. I think you do fine with chopsticks -
Love your food review videos the most
Molly, you make me laugh out loud!!! Thank you Thank you!!!! What you do is UuuuhhhhhMazing!!! You make my day magical✨🏰✨. Love love love the trapped videos because I learn so much!! Thank you for the BEST day EVER SERIES!! And of course, your restaurant reviews are the best! Thank you for eating and talking on camera... not easy but much appreciated 🥨🧀🥩🥓🥗🥟🍱🍡🍰🧁🍨🍪🍺🍷🍸🥃🧉🍽🍴🥢🥡
Hoping to meet you on my next trip🏰🚝
Fantastic review !!! You definitely take it to the next level
My family loved this restaurant! We had the dining plan so I hope it returns. You should have taken the Allears group, Quincy, Breedlove, Alan, Duckfist, Morgan, Lindsay and Jared to fill the table! Love your videos ❤️🏯🇯🇵
Teppen Edo is my all time favorite restaurant ever
Loved the food here, In the UK we don’t have Benihana unless it’s a fancy expensive one in London, so to try this style of cooking is amazing, it is expensive and I’d love to add the more expensive cuts of steak or maybe something like Bison or some time of different meat which would be cool
Overall it’s a solid 8.5/10
Hibachi is one of my favorite types of restaurant but man it's hard to justify the time and cost while in Epcot when there are so many more unique options. We typically like to do Garden Grill for brunch and then snack the carts and quick service the rest of the day. That food does look seriously delicious though, maybe we'll take the leap and book a res next trip!
I SAW YOU THIS DAY GOING TO THE FINDING NEMO SECTION I WASNT GOING TO INTERRUPT YOU BUT IT WAS COOL TO SEE YOU!
Anyone else amazed nobody in this video recognized Molly? It would be so much fun to eat with her!
That food is solid. I like that Hibachi covers everyone in my family from my vegan daughter to my straight up steak and rice husband and son and for me shrimp all day long honey!
Hello Molly!! You look good with your hair "updo" and these Minnie/Mickey ears!! 🙂😊🤩😎💜
Amazing videos as always. I propose a new challenge for you and Quincy. I propose you guys do a video
Challenge featuring all the hibachi places in disney world and disney springs. Thank you for sharing this. Have a great weekend
Molly, I love your videos. You always seem like you are having so much fun. If you ever need a sidekick, let me know.🥰
Well this all looks awesome! Now I wanna eat there even though we have places like this at home!
One of my favorite places in Epcot!!
Have you done a date night suggests at Disney World video?
I'd love to see the seafood buffet place at Cape May! I LOVE seafood and so few people go to review it!
Just knew you were gonna slurp that noodle!!🤣🤣 I would have done the same!!
