About the Dutch pressed to be in time. Look at the video André Rieu in Bahrain. When he starts the show some people are coming in searching for their seats. André looks at his wristwatch ans says: You are late. We came from Holland and we were in time! Hahaha.

I don't think Brazil is a 3th world country but with your open minds you sure will fit in the Dutch society.

If you are late to an appointment here in The Netherlands, it is polite to let someone know how long you expect to be delayed. If you show up to an appointment two hours late, your appointment is gone...

    Thanks for sharing your reaction.
You are so open to it, so I hope you will get the chance to come to Europe, and experience many regions and cultures.

Yes, what's working hard good for when you don't have the time to appreciate what you have achieved already? And then ... you can't take your money with you (when you're dead), so you'd better enjoy life with friends and family.

Being on time is respectful towards the other person. They reserved time for you, being late is just rude

Você é mais que bem-vindo para vir. No entanto, certifique-se de que sabe nadar, não se esqueça que grande parte do país está abaixo do nível do mar !!! :D :D :D

I am Dutch, and i don't know how to swim, i now live in Australia, and i can tell you that Australia had way more floods than The Netherlands...

@@Lilygirl283 Last I recall, I did not mention floods or flooding. And seemingly they stopped the school swimming program, before you could have participated in it. Still hoping this mandatory program comes back.

well, it looks like you guys seem to like the dutch culture, but i doubt if works for you guys.,.... stereotyping your culture, you are a bit more laid back and relaxed.
The dutch are really on point. if you make an appointment for 3 pm you are expected between 14:58 and 15:02 if you are lucky and meet a laid back person, you might get away with times between 14:52 - 15:07 , but if you are out of those boundaries you are expected to notify the other party, either asking if it is OK to be early, or apologizing for being late. so welcome to the dutch culture :)
however, it really works great i you expect everyone to have a very busy schedule.

Diversity, Is also the problem that destroys our culture in the Netherlands.
And don't forget about the woke culture.
As tourist you can visit Amsterdam Or Rotterdam.
If you want to visit the Netherlands,And you want to see or feel the dutch culture!.
Then, Don't go to Amsterdam or Rotterdam!.
Go to the north!. only in the north of the Netherlands you can find real dutch people and culture.
Amsterdam ,or other big cities in the south of the Netherlands.
Are places ,That are under the influence of woke and not NORMAL!
    To the reAL Dutch people!.

Ga lekker forum stemmen enne nee ik kom niet uit een stad. Amsterdam en rotterdam hebben der eigen cultuur maar nog steeds behoorlijk Nederlands.

@@bastonor actually its pretty simple it means beeing aware its changed a bit from there but the basis is that you aware of the sociale and politicale reality around you and not buying into the sociale myths of your society. Nowadays its also gone a bit further that you also want to change things to a fairer system and be a bit nice and helpfull to ech other a bit in leftisch way. But generally what a dutch persone would think of as completly normale. Thats why its such a dirty word in the populist far right.
Unfortunatly its also hijacked by empty headed teanagesr and more militand activists and it has become a fashionale buzz word with no real substance.
