- This is my season 6 ladder character. We use Dragon Claw as our main attack to dish out dual claw physical damage.

Yea, i like to see if there's a use case for lots of the items in the game. This one i was able to get most of the gear dirt cheap on ladder. Nobody needs assassin melee gear.
I relate to the way you play D2R. It’s very refreshing to watch this style on TH-cam. If you don’t already, I recommend making at least one PvP char for fun public games. I’m currently trying to enter the melee scene with a zealer / conc Barb . It’s fun finding the gear for the builds.
I once killed a paladin PKer with my hurricane druid who was running doom and nightwings. But that's the extent of my PvP interactions haha. I might get into it one day. I do have lots of low level gear and stuff that i find interesting to collect
this looks like something ive been looking for. Fun, new, capable. One question, sorry if i missed it. Why no death sentry is it not worth?
Not using it fulfills the fantasy of the build a bit more.
Also, before ladder season 6 started people in chat voted for me to not use it. There wete some people who said i could use it if i got it for free on claws though. So far i haven't needed it for the build to work and im having fun going without it.
Ive done similar things on other builds like my frozen death knight who doesnt use corpse explosion
Big like for ur aproach and dedication to building play styles expecially ur creative off meta builds, it takes a lot of work and im grateful for sharing them. Its refreshing for a game so old and empowering showing how much depth this old game has.. only if they would make games like this nowadays. PS: Im curious if u find fun in Phoenix Strike/ Martial Arts and if u would thinker a phoenix strike or overall elemental, non broken mozaic/ off meta build near future ❤
I have to admit I'm surprised at how good this build can get even without best in slot gear. Really cool. Really wish the martial arts skills were better designed. Imagine how good this would be with tiger strike! Wish those charge up skills acted more like auras that power up the finishing moves. Just let me dream XD I guess a pair of mosaics would do the trick but eh just doesn't feel right. Oh well. I'll try to catch the streams for sure!
Yea, i wanted a reason to use the assassin claws in the game. Also, i didnt want the hassle of having to charge up atracks with tiger strike, but maybe even 1 point into it would help out from time to time. The atmas amp dmg proc though pretty much makes up for any need to charge up with tiger strike.

Enigma is probably the bet for your set up because you can get rid of Najs and get cta+spirit on swap for the extra +skills and life/mana and still can tele...unless you dont care about tele and went with CoH
I mean, aside from the Enigma, this looks like a pretty sweet budget build, equipment wise. I might try this if I ever actually find some decent Claw drops, only got a Bartuc so far. I gotta look into upping my Life Steal for sure though or I'd be a sitting duck.
Yea, i was using rattle cage for more crushing blow before and that cost a perfect amethyst. And with BoS and dragon flight mobility was already good.
I farmed normal travincal a little bit and cubed some amethyst together and got some gem shrines to get some of the gems together to get going and i gambled rare claws at like level 8 or something to start

I admit it, I haven't watched the full video yet (I'm writing the comment @ pit level 2 moment).
to be honest I see a room for improvement there: max venom (and sacrifice some points from shadow master/blade shield/burst of speed [only if you still maintain your desired breakpoint]), wear bramble & trangs gloves before applying venom for massive poison damage. With some prebuff gear, you can reach like lvl 50 venom. I'm pretty sure that this way you would squish out even more damage from your assassin.
I made a hero edited whirlwind sin a while ago, that was utilizing venom that way - 6k whirlwind dmg on each claw (chaos + plague suwayyahs). With the help of death sentries, she rips through every area of the game...
I'm not sure about your intentions towards this assa, since I haven't watched this video fully. I do like your videos though, generally. Keep it up!

Wanted to save the quests for the stream, and I did show two level 85 areas: the pit and arachnid lair.
Kinda nuts we have all this gear and havent even finished act 4 yet....ha

Man putting Ber on shadow kller😢 anyway plague is 10x better i did build on season3 , dragon claw , venom, blade sentry and blade sheild , weild 2 plague whit max psn dmg i can get and its doin nice
Yea the ber rune makes the weapon way better and fits perfectly for what im doing here.
This is not a blade sin. Your build is totally different build from what im doing here and so dual plague would not be better for me. Im not maxing venom and im not maxing blade traps. But yea i can see how your build would absolutely rip. Thanks!
Same for me, only made one enigma and I swap, not worth the runes
So next step for merc IMO would be crescent moon, minus res increase the efficiency of static, worth losing some fcr for the merc
Then ormus with, ideally +3 to lightning
And YES shop for ETH griffon I had one for a Vex I think, merc destroys everything with this setup (crescent moon, ormus, eth spirit, eth griffon, just missing facets!)
I made a NICE trade today for my merc. Thats all im gonna say for now.

How are you liking your Dragon Claw Assassin? I've played it before but mostly to deal with fire immunes on my Fire Trap Assassin.
For an off-meta build it is absolutely crushing. We have good crowd control with shadow master and cloak of shadows, 19000 attack rating, 55 crushing blow, each click of dragon claw does about 5k damage not including crit chance or when amp damage procs or when blade shield hits as well. We're at max frames for attack speed.
plague claw keeps curses off, torch, anni, 3 skillers, and other prebuff gear gets me a 31 shadow master. Blade shield adds another 1700 free damage and extra chances at life steal.
On swap im at 3rd to last casting frames for teleport.
Merc has crescent moon and griffons!
im making great trades, made enigma before completing act 4, and have gear to roll and start another off-meta build.
Its been pretty fun and quite successful so far.
Ever tried toxic ww barb? With dual deaths web or 6os pb with facets? Deaths web gives lots of mana and life after each kill so i guess with a good life replenish merc insight, cure, prayer merc and life replenish from gear maybe it would be viable
I could definitely make one for online non-ladder. If you've seen my toxic multishot amazon, i have lots of faceted gear and charms that could easily transfer over. I do have a dweb as well. Its been on my radar for sure, but havent made one yet on the channel
