- Juliet was in Las Vegas for a huge aviation conference with her work.
I was telling her about the Sphere, and that she should check it out if you want something to do.
The next day she called and said she had tickets! You want to go?
Heck yeah! Let me grab a plane ticket and I'll be on my way.
One day off of work to take a spontaneous trip to experience the newly opened Las Vegas Sphere, "Postcards from Earth".
Would have been really special to see U2 concert there. What an experience that must be given the setting and technology. Sold out during my short trip, and the tickets are very expensive if you're lucky enough to get them.
Highly recommend the experience. Even though the underlying woke messaging is pretty clear, the whole experience was really awesome!

Was there Sunday 01 septembre 2024. Its just amazing visuel, sound and sound effects, wind, 3d. 24 stories high. Like 70mm movie, but massive screen Imax is nothing beside its 10x plus.

The great thing about the Sphere is you can see this as a spoiler and yet still have to go. One side of your brain says it costs too much and you've already seen the movie, while the other says it's truly a step forward and you have to see for yourself (and then tell all your friends back home).
Just exactly is the step forward, sir? LV will have a massive out-migration as the air overheats in the coming years. To spend 2.4B on this trivia is the billionaire human hubris cut in the same mould as was the Titanic. 'Sides, I avoid crowds; you Yanks carry too many guns with excessive nuts behind the triggers.
Yes did watch part of this video, had same battle on my mind. Saw it in person was wow. You have to see in person.

We just saw the same production on Jan 3rd. Absolutely fantastic! Both Visual and the sound was spectacular. I didn't appreciate the narration.
I say Goddam that's so intense...the most epic of mind benders I would love to see the story of how it all came to be
A truly amazing sphere would be one that could project a continuation of the scenery onto the floor in front and the seats/people to the left & right of the middle.
Edit: ... and project onto the seats/people in the center as well.

Insta360 X3 camera. It films in 360 degrees. I strapped it to the rail and edited it later. Great camera!

hello how much is the entrance fee ?
Tickets vary in price depending on section. Think ours was about $170 each. Not cheap by any means, but it was cool!
My friends paid about $60 each, though I assume not for the best seats. There were other parts of the tour, like seeing the robots in the lobby.
Any other recommended websites to buy tickets other than ticketmaster? Thanks

Seems like it started off spectacular and amazing... then the latter half seemed to be every so slowly but surely going the direction of, "meh".
The Sphere is wild on the inside but annoying as fudge on the outside.
