Hello Mr Herjavec I have emailed you twice in the last week to your Gmail, was wondering if you could check your spam box or if you could just let me know if you had a chance to take a look at my business proposal, which I honestly think has so much potential to be worth millions of dollars in the canadian HairColor market, would just greatly appreciate even if you’re not interested to let me know that you had a chance to take a look at it, so that I know that it’s not just sitting in your spam box unread.

I'm 30 years old and have been entrepreneuring since I was on my own, I have worked hard, woke up before and worked later then my peers, I never had any major hobbies and people look at you and think you had an overnight success. I agree with you on the points you made, hard work is a privilege, embrace it, and don't ever forget at some point regardless of how old you get you will reach the end of your life and that should be the measuring stick to your current decisions.

I want to start a business that has customization but the product takes a long time to make and has a high price tag. But it's beautiful and within haute couture line.
There's so much on TH-cam about quick buck businesses you can start. I wasn't sure if I wanted to open my own business or just go with something easy everyone was doing.
You answered my questions, and glad it came from you because I always admire your character.

Robert, I’m really loving your one on one videos, two things. First I do hands-on work and I normally have my phone in my pocket and my earbuds in. I didn’t realize until I dropped my phone with the typing was. You might want to read the question out loud for people who can’t look at the video while they’re using their device. Second thing, the audio from clip to clip isn’t consistent. Clarity is great but the projection of your voice it’s a little hard to hear in certain clips. I don’t know if this is a background noise issue or possibly they move the mic around, but a lot of people will turn a video off if they can’t hear it very well. I’m in Construction so we’re all basically deaf.😂 we would rather it be so damn loud on full volume that we have to turn it down, then turn it up to full volume and still not be able to get a great message. But again loving these one on one 25 minute chats you’re doing.

A couple years ago i took a course on microgreens business. I invested about $2,000 in the course, equipment, seeds etc.
Certain barriers/ problems i hadn't foreseen stopped the process and i never got going again. After hearing you that failures discount me as an entrepreneur, and according to your point here, a failure at business being not forgivable. I'm wondering if i need to go back and restart that microgreens business- which never really got off the ground with a sale- and prove myself to myself.

If I had to do it all over again I would pay myself first(at least 10%). I made a mill. long time ago. I was a workoholic that worked 7 days a week for decades. But I blew all the $$$. I bought 11 brand new cars, 3 brand new homes, furs, diamonds... But now my fav. quote is "It's not how much you make, but how much you keep". I make a lot less than before but I have more money now.

That's some good down to earth advice Robert. I especially agree with giving failure value that is greater than the sum of its parts. As a fellow investor I have the same rule, because when an entrepreneur fails, all they learned was how to fail and hopefully avoid the same mistake again. But they haven't learned from success yet, and I don't need them learning on my dime and risk.

I had a gluten free bakery for 20 years. I grew old and exhausted. I grew it from nothing into the best GF bakery in the province, my name became very well known. I put it up for sale. Of course I thought it was worth a fortune but everyone kept telling me it was only worth the name and goodwill, everything was too old. Finally one guy came in and saw the value and purchased it. Yahoo! I’m 76 and just sold it last year. New owners are doing great!

Robert, question about Shark Tank and the deals that we see agreed to on camera. After the verbal agreement has been made between a shark(s) and an owner, us fans find out shortly after that the deal never closed. Why do you think that is? Fans of the show blame the shark , other people blame the business owners. Speak from your experience, which deal(s) were you mostly disappointed in that you weren't able to close and why? How many of your deals were unable to close? Was it your doing or the business owners for the deal not closing? And how, or if, does not that have you change your strategy in deal negotiating?

Good Q&A but I feel that "how do you stay motivated" at 9:30 wasn't answered, instead you defined the word motivation, not how to motivate yourself. "It's easy to be motivated when things are going your way" is a non-answer as well. Appreciate your video.

Hi Robert. One question that I can never get is finding a co-founder. How do you find that person with the passion to problem solve not take company equity and run? It's been my dream since 11 to start my own company. I am from Malta and came here at 6 years old. I have a list of ideas that I have jotted down on an Excel spreadsheet since 2026. I know where to start but I wish I can have a mentor who has done it before.

@2:36 What’s your biggest rookie mistake in business?
@3:19 How do you know you have a good product?
@5:08 If you could start over, what would you change?
    @16:38 What’s your biggest self-investment?
Coincidentally, the answer he gave to those questions is exactly the type of thinking that will make you successful in the realm of seduction.
Knowing exactly which type of women to seduce, how to make them feel when they’re engaging with you, only going for the type of woman you’re crazy about and not settling for what you think you can get, and how to communicate with them properly is the key to being a master seducer.
Very rarely and almost never do attractive women run into men who think this way.
That’s one of the reasons why so effective.
Those answers, are exactly the Casanova‘s mindset.

    Excellent advice, I'm truly impressed.
You seem very genuine and altruistic.
I would absolutely love to set up a pyrotechnics business in Ireland because they are illegal here and people really need an uplift, celebrations etc to lift their spirits a few times each year,
many Irish people travel to the UK to aquire fireworks but why not cater to this desire in house.
I reckon the market is worth around 90 to 300mn pr year here in the republic, but with excellent margins.
