Matagorda Fail

These dudes came to the beach to enjoy the day and decided to play some football. They thought the beach was a bit crowded and wanted to make sure their truck wouldn't get in the way. So...they parked in near the water. Yes my friends......the tide does come in and will drown your truck. DUH.
They were trying to pull their truck out with a clothes line rope until we passed and my ole friend Darrel had a big ole nasty snatch'em belt.

My Dad did this in his Road Runner in the late 70s....went fishing, fell asleep and woke up with 8" of sea water 🤣😬 towed out and made it

We used to make a killing out there hauling out trucks and cars that would get stuck.

I don't know that I would call this a fail. I've seen plenty of stuck on the beach videos that didn't turn out so good.

Pulling the truck out of the water is not the fail. The fail is the thought that they needed to leave the truck that close to the water in the first place. There was plenty of space to park it out of harms way.
