In terms of the short term considering taxes and overall cost of upfront purchase then trying to resell when I actually need the liquidity, is physical or gold stocks more worth the cost ? Because it seems to be when people speak of gold their not being specific to the short term or Long term approach to justifying the purchase. Let me know your thoughts , thanks anyone

I watch Harry's coin shop videos every day now. I really love the way he covers all aspects of coins. It's interesting to know that his father started out being the avid coin collector and passed that interest on to him.
I just started stacking late Jan this year. Silver was $22.50, wow. What a great ‘hobby’!! You can imagine my 3 month journey and such an awakening. I just started stacking in 2020. It is the only way I have been able to save any significant amount of wealth in my 60 years. I would just buy as much as I could every paycheck as long as the bills were paid.
I passed my 2500 Oz goal in 2 1/2 years. Then started buying some gold. Wait till you get your first one ounce gold coin it really starts becoming fun being able to track both of them, up and down.KEEP ON STACKING. Don't forget to try to have as much emergency fund as you can so that you don't have to sell your stack until you are ready to.

I was sacking groceries for my mother in a small grocery store in 1974 when one of the patrons gave her a 2/12 Indian I assume as a penny. They never came back and we didn’t know who left it. Gold was $35 an ounce, mom was shocked. I now have that coin in my collection. Thanks for the videos
Back in the 80s when I was in high school. I went to a restaurant and was like 75 cents short on cash to pay my bill so I left my money on the table along with a 2 and 1/2 dollar gold piece that I had in my wallet for years hoping I wouldn't get in trouble. Amazingly nobody chased after me.
They confiscated gold in australia as well 😢 they gave you cash or bonds for it, it was considered the Aussie thing to do to help each other. gold is over $3500 here atm it’s almost impossible for the little person to buy now. My 15 year old son and I both watch the channel. A few months ago, Chris (my son) was inspired by something he saw here on and decided to visit our LCS and buy a small silver bar w his own money. After that, he bought some specialized tools on Amazon which he then used to cut the silver bar down into strips. Nobody was allowed in the tool shed to see what he was doing, but we could sure hear the sounds of hammering and filing for hours at a time. Chris ultimately fashioned his silver bar into .999 silver rings and presented them to our family as CHRISTMAS gifts. I LOVE mine and have received several compliments. Thanks for producing these guys. It's fun to see your store regularly... almost like visiting my local coin shop. I'm a 60ish collector & stacker since 2017, plus wheat cents since childhood. This year I decided to put together a tube of Spanish and Mexican silver dollars. As with historic American coins, There's amazing history that goes with each one. There's too many great and many tragic stories they tell, from the hands (& times) they passed through. I try to not purchase from fear of bad things coming, but of the joy of telling my grandkids about coins that went down in a shipwreck, or went to China from Mexico & Spain and ended up here in the midwest... & I give them one. One of the many joys of this hobby, that's what's important. again, thanks guys. Bless you

They also kept a 1928 $100 Gold Certificate, which I bought from my grandmother's estate for $100. My grandpa had already given me the Indian at the time of his death. Both helped me to get into coin collecting in the 1950's, and I'm so thankful they did!
I guess you don't really understand the real dynamics here. If the value of precious metals is constantly rising, that means that people are losing confidence in the fiat currency our government has stuck us with. That is NOT something to be happy about.
Go Dragon ! 79 years old here and never owned an ounce of silver or gold until now. Just started stacking 2 weeks ago after watching one of your videos at Harry's. I now have 400 ounces of silver with 200 more coming tomorrow. Price is up $2.00 today and with both me and my suffering from cancer, I sure hope the breakout comes while we are still here! If not, at least our two sons will have something they never would have had if we had not chanced on your video. We had a house fire last Wednesday and the house is supposed to survive, but ServPro has to remove 85-95% of the interior due to rubber smoke contamination . We have been okayed to live in one bedroom and the room we use for a home office and one bathroom that wasn't affected by smoke because the doors were closed to keep those two rooms heated due to super high heating bills. If you have 401ks from prior work history ect. You could do a rollover to sdbullions gold IRA and since your age start taking distributions on it. 🎉❤ in case you had one and don’t wanna loose big money on it if it’s riding the markets
My Father owned an Alaskan Gold mine in the late 1920's. After Roosevelt's Gold grab in 1933, all he had kept was a 7/8oz natural gold nugget from his mine as a watch fob on a gold chain with an expensive gold watch. The watch and chain was worth 10 times as much than the small gold nugget.
As i lay down to sleep last night i said to my husband, "Tomorrow it will hit $2,300.00." Even if it's only a bubble, we've had some fun excitement, but if it's a trend, we are in for some interesting times.

Being a pastor, I really appreciate your unapologetic witness of your faith and reminding people of the true priorities we should hold in our lives (not about the silver and gold, but your relationship with God and others).
I remember my mom talking about how in the 60's and early 70's Gold Krugerrand were being sold for $25/ounce through an ad in National Geographic Magazine, and some guy wound up buying a lot of gold coins before the ending of the gold standard, and then cashed them in when gold went through the roof in the later part of the 70's.

Precious metals will never be confiscated, because it's an impossible task to process. Even in 1933 the law was essentially dependent on voluntary compliance. Not a snowballs chance in Hell of that happening in todays political and economic environment. Many thanks to Harry and Silver Dragons, great video.

I guess you don't really understand the real dynamics here. If the value of precious metals is constantly rising, that means that people are losing confidence in the fiat currency our government has stuck us with. That is NOT something to be happy about.
Go Dragon ! 79 years old here and never owned an ounce of silver or gold until now. Just started stacking 2 weeks ago after watching one of your videos at Harry's. I now have 400 ounces of silver with 200 more coming tomorrow. Price is up $2.00 today and with both me and my suffering from cancer, I sure hope the breakout comes while we are still here! If not, at least our two sons will have something they never would have had if we had not chanced on your video. We had a house fire last Wednesday and the house is supposed to survive, but ServPro has to remove 85-95% of the interior due to rubber smoke contamination . We have been okayed to live in one bedroom and the room we use for a home office and one bathroom that wasn't affected by smoke because the doors were closed to keep those two rooms heated due to super high heating bills. We hope our silver investment is better than hoping someone starts a Go Fund Me page for us. Love you guys! Don and Mary Lou in Missouri

If you have 401ks from prior work history ect. You could do a rollover to sdbullions gold IRA and since your age start taking distributions on it. 🎉❤ in case you had one and don’t wanna loose big money on it if it’s riding the markets

My Father owned an Alaskan Gold mine in the late 1920's.
After Roosevelt's Gold grab in 1933, all he had kept was a 7/8oz natural gold nugget from his mine as a watch fob on a gold chain with an expensive gold watch.
The watch and chain was worth 10 times as much than the small gold nugget.
Your gramps was smarter than that. He kept lots of gold but didn’t tell anyone, especially a loudmouth like you who can’t keep a secret!

I remember my mom talking about how in the 60's and early 70's Gold Krugerrand were being sold for $25/ounce through an ad in National Geographic Magazine, and some guy wound up buying a lot of gold coins before the ending of the gold standard, and then cashed them in when gold went through the roof in the later part of the 70's.
Great times -- and look where gold is now!
I bet if he is still alive he is sick about cashing those in, today.

Precious metals will never be confiscated, because it's an impossible task to process. Even in 1933 the law was essentially dependent on voluntary compliance. Not a snowballs chance in Hell of that happening in todays political and economic environment. Many thanks to Harry and Silver Dragons, great video.
