I'm really hyped for a bandit/barbarian series! I hope you make an archer gang filled to the brim with battanian fians leveled up from forest bandits XD
Nope we are not suing those fellas too strong barbarians and bandits only (otherwise im just playing battania again)
@@ThreatX It makes sense though! But will you not add any archer unit? You should make a noble archer line and I'm fine with whatever you choose to do in this series because it looks fun from the start!(I also think archers are kinda op in bannerlord because if you just get 100 archers of battania,vlandia or even Aseria and Khuzait the party will not die if the user retreats and does everything again and eventually winning with no losses. I also exploited it like this because we can then easily win the fights. So it is totally fine if you don't add an archer unit! :) looking forward to this series)
Lets just say my initial feelings where the same how can you fight without bannerlords meta unit type but I have found ways so far :)

Torr was called the Kind until he came home from hunting one day to find his wife and three children murdered. In his rage he burned the village to the ground and killed the local Jarl while looking for info. He still searches for their killers to this day.

Name: Ragnar Rock
Ragnar has a barbarian beard, that knows how to keep fit(athletics), when he was a child he loved to throw rocks at the Roman’s, he became older and started to learn how to throw axes(throwing), his dad seen how barbarin he was becoming so the dad taught him how to use a axe and a shield(one handed). But Ragnar always loved to go hunting for some deers with his father(shouting) it was his favourite part of life.

For a companian name Alaric the goth hes a two handed barbarian with Max atlethics, two handed and a little bit of trowing skill hé got e Huge two handed axe and throwing axes so hes infantry comander he got a beard and long messy hair
His backstory:
hé was fighting of some roman soldiers hé killed 9 of the 10 that attacked him but hé was full of blood and exausted then you game and killed the last roman so he Tells then to you that hes family was killed by the romans and he wanted to take revenge by killing a lot of romans and being a bandit so he joined you

Farak Oneeye
Middle aged man from the Battanian Forests selling his weapon to the highest bidder. He walks around with onehanded weapons and shield preferable round shield and axes, does not like bows but prefeer throwing weapons if he has to fight ranged combat.
Red long hair, fancy mustache, normal height and weight and like his name says, he only has one working eye after a small accident were he stumbled on the battlefield and managed to poke himself in the eye with a spear. That is also why he hates poleweapons.

There a mod that adds more bandits call scum and villainy get adds so many bandits and bandit troop trees and combine it with calradia at war
does not work with 1.7 I don't want to roll back to a old version of the game at this point :)

ThreatX, since your going on a Bandit Route and therefore lots of raiding, i propose that you invest heavily on Roguery
As it gives you faster Raiding time and more Loots from Bandit Hideouts, Caravans, and enemy Armies
Also as a Bandit, your not allowed to own a fief (castle or town) and can only gain money from sacking villages and pillaging enemy caravans (Which means lots of enemies from lords) and no workshops too, just raiding and pillage
That is not what we are doing more the roving barbarian that is just going to be killing any lord its finds (gameplay reasons looting a village is sitting around and watching a yellow bar not too frilling)

An absolute hulk of a man, he only uses Two Handed weapons and has some animal pelt for armor =)
In Calradia, he grew up in between the frosts of Sturgia and the forests of Battania. His father was a fur trapper on the outskirts of both kingdoms, illegally trapping animals in both kingdoms. His father's crimes would catch up to him, but the lord who caught him gave him an ultimatum: his life or his son. Ashamedly, this is where Beryn was given up to be employed in the service of a minor Battanian lord. He aided the lord as one of his huntsmen, but as soon as he could he made for his escape. Beryn would join the Forest Bandits in their plight to rob Battanian peasant envoys until greener pastures would find their way to his path.

You can also use blunt arrows or blunt pila so you can knockout bandits from long range.

Bio: Consumed his twin Dugga in the womb before they were born. He now wields the power of two men, thus his catch phrase is "Ugga dugga" when he goes monkey mode on some poor levies or militia. Technically is a dual wielding sword master on account of his third leg.
Weapons of choice: BIG ASS 2H SWORD but he uses a more reasonable sword and shield during sieges. When he feels like it, he likes to throw javelins.

Hello! Did you use any mod to customize troops, wich one did you use, is it "calradia at war"?
The mod is caldaria at war but I have manually changed there equipment from the base mod and also done some changed to the game such as looters spawning in as the basic barbarian troops to make them easier to use
A large and Towering "Man" Approaches you as you march, he's seems to either be wearing or just covered in furs and hair, they seems to carry little save a large hammer and a set of throwing spears, it calls out to you, "OI, EARD YOU WAS MAKING QUITE THE RUCKUS ROUND ERE, FIGURED YOU WONT GET AWAY WIF IT LESS GOT SOME PROPER MUSCLE EH?" He flexes his arm, even though it's coverd in hair you can see great bulging muscles underneath. "I'S COULD STRANGLE BEARS WIF THESE, BUT FOR THE ROIGHT PRICE SPOSE I COULD DO THE SAME TO WHO EVER YOU WANT, WHAT YOU FINK MATE?"

Hi there! How do you get the Barbarian Slayers and alt bandit factions in your game? I'd like to do a playthrough like this (think I'll call him 'Dave'), and want an expanded bandit unit pool for my horde :) Could I have access to that series setup vid?

@@ThreatX when I click the link, it just takes me back to this video. How do I see the setup video? I'm just trying to get some variation in my bandits...they're all still just Looters, despite me having Calradia at War installed and running.
That companion looks like George Bush hahah. You should name him that actually to be honest.
Just a heads up, the crazed man unit tree has been causing me crashes when going from tier 2 to 3. Not sure if its Cal at War or another conflict...will be interesting to see if you run into that.
Also if you got a chance razes raid bosses and phoenix paladins are some other amazing units to use in my experience.
Oh interesting will keep an eye on that i can probably fix that with a botch mod worse case XD

Is this a well balanced mod in your opinion?
It is not actually a faction mod it adds bandits and minor factions troops to the game only reason I have so many barbarians is I manually changed the game to let me get them on mass :)
Regardless the actual mods barbarian troops balance is very poor the units use axes and where created before the athletics nerf so are outclassed by most if not all the base game factions there are also some troops with missing weapons or upgrade issues ( such as having to use 2 horse to get a cavalry unit)
What you see in video though after video 2 is my version of the faction using maces and fixing some of the missing gear
