شیر شاہ سوری، پیدائشی فرید خان، ہندوستان میں سوری سلطنت کے بانی تھے، جس کا دارالحکومت جدید بہار میں سسارام میں تھا۔ اس نے روپے کی کرنسی متعارف کرائی۔ ایک نسلی افغان حکمران شیر شاہ نے 1540ء میں مغلیہ سلطنت پر قبضہ کر لیا۔ 1545ء میں حادثاتی موت کے بعد ان کا بیٹا اسلام شاہ ان کا جانشین بنا۔

Excellent way of telling the history .
I have read his entire history abt 600 pages. He is indeed a legend who not only create a state, but creates an order that is still followed with some modifications. Like land record, and currency.
I have a coin of his name and I searched about him after I got that coin from nowhere. It was in my pocket in school and I don't know where it came from.
But his struggle gives goosebumps, he was in mughal army in 1528 and was ruler from qanshar to bangal in 1945.❤️

Sher Shah was one the greatest ruler of Indian Subcontinent.
Shershah Soori was able administrator, he succeeded against Moghuls die to internal difference between sons of Babur.Kamran,Hindaal and Askari never gave help to their defeated brother, not even allowed to enter their territories, Humayun had to run away to Iran and Sher Shah got the open field and after sometime he pushed Hindaal of Gujerat and Kamran out of Punjab. Mistrust and difference between Moghul brothers led to this debacle.
Same happened with lodhi's. Lodhi own uncle cousins helped babar in war against lodhi kingdom .during war majority babar soldiers was those lodhi who against lodhi kingdom and king

@Haq e Momin Well, to the best of my research, Humaiyon bin Baber won the War-II against Soori in a way that Soori reached the pre-decided battle-field LATE (than pre-decided time for the battle) with his army , and so gotta ENCAMP in a LOW-LYING place , which was just approximately SUBMERGED due to FLOOD-INDUCING RAINY SEASON.
Resultantly, Soori with his army (much of which was died as well) was thus to ESCAPE towards a SAFER PLACE.
In this way, Humaiyon took his throne without any kinda proper WAR.✳
