  • It's time for some ride height adjustment - AGAIN! We've had the MTS Off-Road shock tune in for a few hundred miles now, so it's time we make some adjustments using an inexpensive part from Harbor Freight to help with that 20 minutes fix that we all need. Sorry Chuck!

Also with all the weight off the suspension you can just turn the springs and it will turn the collar with the spring , need to back the lock ring off on top first , from stock I had about 60 turns on my springs (stock)

Agreeded, on stock springs we do that all the time,, but these monsters where fighting back a little more.

Put some weight on the front of the rig, run a ratchet strap under the lower shock mount and attack a hook to each side of the spring tighten it. Then jack up the front to extend the shock this will take the tension off and allow you to make the adjustments easily.

That's what we normally do and it works pretty good with the stock springs but these are not stock and this was definitely much easier once I made some adjustments to the spring compressors.

A pair of ratchet straps snaked up and down over the springs to get the pulley advantage of them does the same thing and super quick, I don’t unbolt any part of the shock...

We also use that method but I definitely like the spring compressors much better. We unbolted the shocks because we were replacing the CV boot.

You know utv inc makes a very nice set of wrenches for the fox shocks 20.00 you need 1 set for the front 2.5 and 1 set for the rear 3.0 so 40.00 total for some nice heavy duty shock wrenches. ( not a commercial) just a user

I just came to see how to increase my ride height. You didn’t even get into any adjustments until after 12 minutes. I feel this video was a waste of time even though I fast forwarded through most of it. Next time you should be prepared to make the adjustments your video is totaled to do.

There are a few videos online that cover the numbers if your car is stock, ours is not, I clearly state that 13:50, and this video was far from a waste, it has almost 12 thousand views and you are one of those views so thanks. Our channels is not a how to channel, its just us doing what we do, glad you got to be a part of it.
