I love it. I think the thing is so many of us want to do too much.( usually overpreparing) We end up tired and exhausted what doesn’t help. Acting should be magic for us, it is art.
When acting I like to put in my mind that I’m alone with a person no cameras no audience and no script forget everything about what they are going to say or do truly listen take in what they are saying and “dont act just react” as you would if the situation was happening to you let your lines flow naturally
I was just in my first film. Richmond’s 48 Hour Horror Film Festival and the producer said he wants me as the lead character on the next project and wanted to thank you for giving me advice and tips to help along my journey.
I remember learning to not over prepare a scene or say “that’s not how I wanted it to go in my head.” You have to learn to be okay with how the scene comes out even if it’s different than what you wanted because it’s just real that way.
A friend of mine and I were watching a movie and I told him I could do that, he started laughing, I grabbed his lapel, pushed him up against the wall, told him I would beat his ass if he ever laughed at me again, let him go and said see!!!😂

That’s not acting, you need anger management
@@DizzyK1D if you knew me, you wouldn't say that! 74 years old, never been in a fight, never seen the inside of a jail! You could say boring? :-)
❤
In Cinema, I find that actors have tremendous difficulty staying silent and letting the movie and set do its thing.
I try too hard, way too much! I overthink things, try extra hard to be natural, but nerves.
question man if you want to direct your own movie what type is will be,and make a video about it thank you and have a nice day.
We’ll see. It really all depends on budget, where you’re acting abilities are and if you’d have a team or not helping you
Hey bro have you seen perfect days ?
I have not. I planned to see it in theaters before, but scheduling never worked out
There's a difference between improvisation and Acting, Acting you Already know what's coming, what they gonna say etc, while in real life you don't...
True, both require being in the moment
