The song tells the sad story of the starting scene. Two loving people couldn't become one due to a jealous person.
What a song beautiful song
Don't worry about the story of the video. A lot of people didn't get it. To be honest, the video for this song, as stunning as it is, wasn't really needed. We should just close our eyes & concentrate on the beauty of the song. The vocals, the music & the composition are all absolutely stunning and soul-stirring. Great reaction, as well.
Artistic and magicl as it is, I didn't get the story either...at first I thought there was some parallel universe/mirroring kind of concept, mainly because of how the interior of the train suddenly turns into a set/stage, and also how both of them keep looking for one another or feeling the presence of one another but keep missing the chance to meet 🤔 it's a cool concept but maybe I'm just reaching!
I am shocked how many people didn't get it i got it in the first few minutes of the video

@@imranhamid1788 i won't call my self smarter but observant.. it just makes sense to me in the first few seconds thay show us their where happy then the next second the mc was showing hate to the gift he had given to the family mc so it only makes sense thay will show what happens prior to that event

Video uses symbolics.....to understand you have to use creativity scarf 🧣 is symbolic of entrusting with love of lead singer Manu to Annual. The other suspicious guy is trying to create confusions. But both are very busy and can't clarify confusion...train symbolizes their love journey they both embark on it initially.....getting off the train 🚂 is symbolic of setting love aside...throwing scarf down and getting back on train is moving on in life....as annu finds her scarf she is left stranded in station

My interpretation of the video: There are three guys, one lead singer Maanu, other antogonist who is scheming to break them up, but pretending to be their friend. He makes Maanu think lead singer Annural is being unfaithful to him with 3rd guy who we also see leaveing her room at start, but in actual might not know how it and how it looked, i.e. be there wrong time wrong place situation and may only be a colleague/friend. Antagonist uses that, even puts scarf Maanu gave to girl in 3rd guys room, we can see his pic next to chair from where Maanu finds scarf thinking she gave to him (beside it having emotional value), in actual she left it on her seat when taking stage to sing. Another female who maybe her friend and observes it, and tells Annural same, who goes after him, but she is too late. I guess thus kind of 70s era in video otherwise u can always call ;)
They want us to repeat song again thus complex video lol, otherwise there is always spotify, with storyline first time in any live recorded music, those mics are live even if there cuts sometimes between verses. Whole music video with live music recording concept was first of its kind, now they adding storyline and acting aswell.
No problem I'll explain, there are two performing artists who love each other but they couldn't express their love for each other. The boy gave her his scarf and she kept it with her all the time. That scarf was a kind of validation for both that they feel for each other. Then there was this friend of this boy who was jealous of him and stole the scarf. But there is a witness girl who saw everything and went to this girl and told her everything. The girl realizes and goes after him, but she misses him. The whole song is like the flashback of their love for each other. It is pure art expressed in a short film. Pure art always leaves some elements of curiosity. It is philosophical piece and Pakistan is good at philosophy.

one word is "jealousy", he just believed that I am no longer needed, and she is much happier with him, this is what happened. part where he is looking out the window is him replating the events that happened, the other girl that was bumped into was the friend, she tells Annural what happened and what she believed happened, she realizes that he mistook her relationship with that dude and she went after him, the scarf is a strong representation of their love, like how it is in many places around the world, like in movies the guy puts his coat on the girl, just like that... So it is a small song about, "I found you more happy and secure with him...I have no place in that". Took me a while to understand myself haha and I am Pakistani-Punjabi which makes it even more funny.

They had budding love, but Maanu's guy friend was jealous and created misunderstanding between them using the scarf by stealing it and putting it back in Maanu's vanity cabin (rejection).

I wish people would just react to the music and not the video. Coke studio is about the music and the video is just an extra thing. In this case, the song is so beautiful, the video doesn’t even matter ❤️
what was happening in the video was third wheeling.. a guy who put doubts in the guys head to put a wall between the 2 lovers so he could have her.. :P i mean its pretty clear idk why most didnt get it.. at the end her friend told her that this one guy was putting doubt in his head.. making him leave her at the end.. video was clear in showing what was happening

Returning to the hall, the jealous friend whispers venomous lies to Maanu, fabricating a tale of Annural's disdain. Heartbroken, Maanu retrieves the scarf, believing the deception, and disembarks from the train.
Annural, after her performance, is bewildered by the unfolding events. A perceptive onlooker reveals the truth, prompting Annural to seek out Maanu. As fate would have it, just as Maanu reboards the train, Annural discovers the scarf and realizes the cruel machinations that have kept them apart. Alas, she misses him by a heartbeat, unable to clarify her devotion, and Maanu is carried away, leaving Annural standing alone with the symbol of their love and misunderstanding.

Actor1 & Actress1 like each other, he gives her the red scarf
Actor1 has a false understanding that Actress1 is somehow interested in actor3
Actor2 is extremely jealous of Actor1 and to hurt him he steals that red scarf and places it in the office chair of actor1(as if Actress1 returned it to reject actor1)
Actor1 goes to his office to find the scarf there, and (wrongly) infers that he has been rejected
Meanwhile actress2 sees the steal act of Actor2 and informs the actress1. The actress1 runs to actor1 only to find the he is gone.
At the end, they are just not destined to be together, as actor1 marginally misses actress1 at the train arrival.
