As much as this hurts to see as a stris fan, Chris is being treated the way she deserves by Street, he tried, tried and tried just for himself to look like a fool in the end like he said. Can’t wait for this episode to see what it has in store.

If Street die/ leave or Chris leaves and the fans base doesn't get stris, I am truly sorry for the writers. I think stris fans will vent their disappointment in the show and see fewer viewers for a season 6. The fans need to stay calm and wait to see how the writers fix it, they have 2 EPs to do it. I think Chris loves Street and he stood by her through lots of nonsense, he deserves to see that love. I pray Chris has a moment of clarity to fix whatever is in the way.
Farewell could be lots of different things ... Could be for Chris leaving the team, but could be Jimmy dieing too...
My guess would be that Jimmy would be in a touch and go, life threatening situation - writers might use that to force Chris making the choice, she's been having a hard time to do.
The storyline was messed up and doesn't really make much sense.
These two have been talking about each tiny detail, but Chris not even mentioning to Jimmy what she's contemplating - I don't find it believable.
Then on the other side, she's not exited at all - didn't even crossed her mind that now they can be together - again not believable (the flight attendant isn't a good excuse)
I'm getting really tired generally of these half a*** writings these days 😔
Tho even the life threatening trick was used already two times just for Jimmy... So even that is getting mehh...
@@gyorgyjakabjulia Yes, I agree on everything. even the part where should have told Jim she thinking about leaving swat so that the pieces of writing were not correct. I have serious problems with the lack of consistent / continuity and sequencing stris content, Chris was one holing back the start of the relationship because of rules, she cares what people think and now is safehouse. How hell can writers give Chris lines like " we aren't meant to be together and I didn't quick sawt for you, didn't mean to hurt etc. All of Chris's lines were stupid line and make her character looks terrible in fans' eyes. Everything Jim said to Chris was correct she use him and he should feel like a fool.
@@gyorgyjakabjulia swats writers good at writing action and when it comes to romance the writing is very poor, there are other series that balance action with romance drama part very well unlike swat. The relationship is boring to past time. The only relationship that excites me is stris and they don't write it properly.

Yeah this is sad, as a fan. I am rooting for them still, though. I'm invested. Honestly, this is the results of both of them being to blame. Street is no victim. He's relentlessly chased her for years even though she was upfront from episode 1. Now he is just butt hurt. He constantly threatens to not wait forever. Chris is guilty of the stop and go too. She has given Street every excuse and he still chooses to chases her. I think there is a bigger underlying issue to what's stopping her. Fingers crossed, hopefully this doesn't turn into a Mac and Harm JAG situation, nine seasons of waiting and they still didn't end up together.

Street is not done he is still in love with her but he is hurt and you can tell by him not wanting to talk to her and ice her out . He is 100% right. Chris love Street and she is in love with him but she is her own worse enemy, in my opinion, I hope the writer gives her final character growth and development where she admits her feeling and sees all her mistakes when it comes to him.🥺

Chris could say she did not love him 2. Street calls her out on nonsense on all that happens. I love the line that street said " you must be really thinking I am stupid " &" you already made me feel like a fool". I love those two lines. Chris has the ball in her court and she has to work to get him back. All fans hate on her but I am waiting to see what she does first, there is still time for the writers to help Chris make it right. I know she has many issues and needs to work on them. some fans might think is forcing her but we all know she needs pushing because she loves him. Street piss / real hurt. I hope if the writers do give us Stris is not just a kiss but a confession, I love you and sex.

I never listen to swat podcasts but they should hear what fans saying it's not about them but what fans want and many fans are talking about not watching season 6. There season 5 trailer did not reach even half a million and that was terrible. yes, Chris is not popular but it could be if the writer gives her redemption path clear about what holding her back. Let's swatcast keep the same strong emotional energy when fans stop watching lol His last declaration came at a bad time not because is of him but he honestly didn't know she was leaving is a good state your truth at least she knows how he feels and that did not change after the date with Katie. Fans are invested in stris and they watch because of them why the writers and their boss and swatpodcast cannot get it is beyond me.

This sucks! I am so mad! I’ve literally been waiting since 4x18 for these two to get their poop in a group and Chris has suddenly decided she’s too proud to tell Street how she feels?! She should know better than any one that you only live once and you gotta take advantage of these moments! Luca needs to say something to her and be like listen idiot, be honest with yourself and Street and go be happy! I know Street is just protecting himself, but man this sucks!

Street is still in love with Chris and he isn't done because he believes they are soulmates but he is fed with it and right to ice her out. Chris needs to talk to someone and change her mind. I think Chris has never been in love or understood real love that is why is so hard for her to express her feelings and make excuse after excuse instead of being with him. I hope the writer give her the change she needs in order to have final character growth and development Chris Knows Street is the love of her life and she loves him but she is her own worse enemy .

Espero que lo que están haciendo sea preparar el terreno para que en el último capítulo acaben juntos...No le encuentro sentido si no a como han ido preparando el terreno desde la temporada 4...y espero que Lina no se vaya de la serie, si no sería un gran error y mucha gente dejaríamos de ver swat. Some of these comments are too harsh on Chris. Clearly she is scared of having a real relationship, but she doesn’t know how to let go of the person she truly loves. She needs him, but is scared to risk losing him at the same time. Luca nailed all her issues. So glad that they worked it all out in the end.

I have been reading all the comments about being mad at Chris that she didn't declare her love, her attitude and such. But no one has been talking about if Lina Esco is leaving the show, or the fact that they have chosen another Latina woman to replace her, which is bad writing from my perspective.
People Put yourself in her shoes. She QUIT SWAT. She chose to VOLUNTARILY quit the biggest love of her life. SWAT was her true and only love(r) that was there for her and she thought they would be together forever (if you know what I mean). With her past, probably all the true loves in her life left Her, at least that's how she sees it, and after being raped and all that brings a lot of self-worth issues.
So my view is that she quit her love, and since her work/cause has always been her love she believes that she will replace it with a new one. And she will find happiness there. It is terrifying for her to put her love and trust to someone and not on something. A person can always hurt you, leave you, and if that person is Street in her case, it can ruin her.
I do agree that I am with Street on this 100% because she should have cleared her position a looong time ago. She's been a bit self-righteous lately which comes across as 'ugly' and icy to us. But it is these moments that the biggest internal changes happen. But let's not forget that she is feeling angry, hurt, fearful, uncertain, confused and facing the unknown and Christ always likes to be in control. And she feels comfortable lashing out to Chris.
That's what it is. Just lashing out on her part, hurtful and unfair on Street's part. And true enough I am tired myself of waiting.
But I don't like that they are choosing to take her out of the show in order for the relationship to happen. Myself and I believe a lot of others wanted to see them working it out within the team. To actually witness it. Happily ever after doesn't satisfy me anymore. I want to see the 'happily' in action. IF it happens obviously...

In the promo for this episode you can hear Chris yells Streeet's name, and someone is on the ground. Maybe he gets hurt, and maybe Chris finally realises how she feels for him.

"When are you gonna stop icing me out" that's fucking hilarious from the queen of icing him out, like when he was fucking undercover working s major narcotics case and couldn't tell anyone (including his brogher) due to orders from his superiors and she iced him out for not telling her and when he defended himself by telling her he had orders she had the audacity to straight up tell him he should have disobeyed direct orders by telling her anyway and acting like he's the one in the wrong even after she found out.
I absolutely hate chris. For the record, no it's not because she's a woman. I really like norma kuhling's character nora fowler, i liked lyndie greenwood's character erika, i'm very interested to see where Brigitte kali canales's character alexis cabrera is going and what they do with her, but my favorite female character was Stephanie sigman as Jessica cortez.
Her character was well written, her acting was definitely a strong point, she was exciting and good to watch. So i've got no problems with women being in main roles, i simply just hate Chris's character.
She is obnoxious, can be very rude for no reason, unreasonable to many situations that don't need to be a big deal but she makes it a big deal anyway, her character is always preaching about different left sided political ideas, like she's literally just used as a mouthpiece to spread left leaning political points that often times don't even fit within the context of the episode. She's been leading street on for so long and when he was finally happy with molly she knew exactly what she was doing by dangling to prospect of them getting together on a string in front of his face and then insulting and belittling him when he broke up with her to be with Chris, she wants him to be there as an option and so just constantly leads him on until it looks like now he has finally had enough and refuses to get sucked back into ths whirlwind that is chris. Ultimately she's just extremely unpleasant and very. Very toxic and i can't stand her.
Some would say Cortez was more left leaning than Chris... I think Chris is written as complicated and complex with a hero complex.
The pressure of being the first woman always wanting to be the best till it consumes you. That is why Erika was good for her.. balanced her out.
She is her best when she is needed it's why we loved her the most in S1 and 2 cos she was trying to save Street.
The good cop issue i think was more unreasonable jealousy... until then she knew everything about him...
I dunno I think Chris is what a child of generational trauma and a heavy childhood becomes. Very layered and complicated person who doesn't think she deserves happiness. Losing Street is good for her...she needs to get at of her own way.
The other thing is whilst I am on Street side, he is also a grown up.. he broke up with Molly on his own and declared his love in the most awkward of times...
Like she had been blowing hot and cold but there is personal freedom too. She keeps saying not right now.. she is constantly busy too. I think he knew deep down he was not a priority. She doesn't see her personal happiness as a priority. So I don't blame Chris 100%,

It's because we live in a time where you dare to criticize a woman or people who just so happen to be black or whatever your shouted down as sexist or racist and all that other bullshit. Well guess what, no one is above criticism. I've also come to hate Chris as well because once again here she is playing the pity party and telling Street "that's not fair" when what's really not fair is toying with the poor bastard this whole time so ya he has every right to let her have it verbally. And I've had it with her left wing politics and always bitchen about male privilege all while facing zero consequences for her erratic drunken behavior in the past. Anyone else would've gotten fired for that but no not Chris , not to mention those racist cop's got fired simply because of their views. Her emotions as well have overclouded her judgement too many times to the point where she barks at a superior officer in Deacon mocks his faith and gets pissed at Street for not telling her he's working undercover thusfore disobeying a direct order. Once again anyone else would've gotten fired or written up for insobornation for all that but oh no not Chris. No one has more privlege than her.
Unfortunately there's people emotionally damaged like this. She has gotten in her own way. I'm not sure how they went from the start of the season being we're going to be together to her totally blocking it but she's clearly running scared. She's unintentionally toxic but mostly to herself. If she can sort it out they'd be a great couple but she needs to take the chip off her shoulder about being a woman in swat etc because no one in her unit has ever treated her differently it's just the rest of the world.

Y para eso hicieron esto los escritores. Para que los fans odien al personaje de Chris.
Que gran error cometieron no dejando que el personaje se desarrollara aún tenia mucho por dar Chris.
Sino querían que ship de Stris sucediera no deberían haber jugado con los fans así.
Se me hace injusto que ya para despedirse del personaje de Chris, ella quede como una persona insensible e inestable. Cuando en las primeras temporadas se veía el personaje fuerte.
Más que tristeza, me da coraje que destruyan a los personajes así.
Los escritores le permitieron al personaje Street madurar conforme pasaba cada temporada.
Es bueno que él quiera ponerle fin a esto que sinte por Chris. Pero no se me hace justo que los hicieron pelear ya para terminar.
Todo mal. De mi parte solo veré los últimos dos episodios y me despido de SWAT. No me gusta que jueguen con los fans, yo entiendo que no te van a dar todo lo que pides como fan, pero este jueguito de ilusionar, no va.
Esto de Stris muy bien pudieron terminarlo en la temporada 4.
Al final solo quiero que no se odien los personajes. Y le den un buen y merecido cierre a Chris, porque fue uno de los personajes fuertes y queridos.

Oh this is before she finds him. Interesting. I'm still holding out hope it works out for them but in hindsight they could never be together on screen as we know them as they can't be in the same team, so I think both will leave together. I'm not sure how else they can be together if both in swat. I get where she's coming from but she's got to stop running scared

Chris knew that still saying and doing nothing will hurt him, that's why she did it. She doesn't allow herself to indulge in minimum of happiness, out of fear she'll loose it.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not judging, when I do the same thing.
It's just a shame, to have this story, which was being hinted since season 1, just go down the drain because writers decided to drag it as much as possible. Now, as she is leaving swat, even some half ass solution such as dating off screen is completely pointless.
Also, in my previous comments, I've said that Hondo is my least favorite character, and I would have 0 problems with him leaving, and Deacon taking over the team, as that would change their approach and dynamics, it would be a good change. This, removing Lina/Chris and putting someone else in her place (my guess is Cabrerra, though I could be very wrong) won't change much, bc the team will still function the same way.
Anyway, I'll see what they do in these last 2 episodes, but I won't be nearly as excited and pumped about season 6 as I was about 5, at this moment, there is nothing to look forward to.

Writers know what they're doing ,lol. Giving it the old swinging back and fro to carry it into series6 . Series seems to only have this as the trump card . Catching more bad men and fading backstories not going to restore ratings .You can see them dragging this along like a dog with a busted tail ,thru all 22 episodes next season !! looooll

Honestly Chris is annoying with the way she toyed with Street’s feelings. & she deserves to be iced by him like this. However he kept blowing off good women to hope for a chance with her. I personally felt Hicks daughter was his match but he was too stuck on Chris. The flight attendant def should’ve gotten a fair chance but once again, he blew it off chasing a fantasy. I hope he really moves on as Chris leaves cuz it’s annoying me at this point lol
