      I more see Ellie more as the one person on the team now that is going to step into Gibbs' footsteps, more than McGee to be honest.

    This scene wasn't even what the episode was about. This episode was about Gibbs and Bishop coning a inmate into helping a sick navy officer. First oat of the show was great then it was ruin by bad writing and acting.

      I think Ellie's acting in this storyline was great. Her mom and brother were not that great. And Jake's acting in this storyline was painful to watch, it seemed so forced, not natural at all.

    bishop wrong you came to your mother's house with you & your own husband problem you disrespected your mom and brother in her house shameful you will never be old enough to tell her to stop doing anything 'still tell her daughter you are loved and she/we still got your back and you so did need to talk about it your husband the whole storyline was poorly thought and acted

    • @lauraschoenborn3544
      @lauraschoenborn3544 4 ปีที่แล้ว +36

      I disagree, I think the storyline was perfect to the situation. Bishop needed to get away from Jake to think, so she went back home for Thanksgiving. She begged them to stay out of it, because it was HER Marriage, she just needed to think which is why she went home. They did not get that, and were trying to tell her what she should do. No matter where you go, your marital problems are your own problems to deal with, everyone trying to get involved telling you what you should do are not helping. You are the only person that really knows your marrage, no one else.

      I will disagree with you on a couple of points. Just because it is "your marriage" does not automatically mean you know how best to deal with it. It's okay to get help.
      But right now she needed space and time so her brother should have kept his mouth shut.
      Also, (and I know many will disagree) but when you marry another person, you also marry that person's family. When things affect your relationship, it affects them too. Maybe not as profoundly or directly but it does. So Bishop saying it is "MY problem" implies that it isn't something that her family should be concerned about is not entirely accurate.
