They put on a crazy show. Idk if you ever got to see Johnny pull out the scorpion drum set but I remember seeing it in a small venue and it got stuck vertical and it was hilarious. He just sat there (probably getting lightheaded) singing for about 4 minutes while the backstage crew came out and fixed it during the performance
Saw them open for Periphery (the rest of the openers sucked) and I had never heard of them. I ended up liking them better than the main show. Can't say that's ever happened with any other band!
My fav was always Alice In Chains..Still are. Hard to find good Real Music 🎶 now days.. Nothing more is pretty good tho. 👏 But for me 90s was 👑 Soundgarden..candlebox.. Days of the new..bands like that an their songs never get old. That's how you can tell how great a band an their music really is. 😉 😎

I think it was because he didn't always have the singing voice he has now, he had to work to develop it.
As a kid he tried for choir and didnt make it so he went on through life, and then stepped up after the og singer quit
