Great tips on initial planting of new trees, Charles! Have 3 new citrus trees on their way from Aaron (Four Winds Growers) as soon as frost advisory is lifted for the Midwest and will soon be back to 'happy growing' again with IV Organic! Many thanks for all the great teachings and tips you've provided us online and for great products that make our trees GROW healthy and strong!!! 🙂 Al W.
No topping ? Since there not grafts does that there a cutting or grow true to seed? Learned something new about the no seed present in some pomegranates usually what turns me off them definitely going to look into these two
Dave Wilson Nursery pomegranates are grown from cuttings. Each cutting is a genetic clone of the parent variety, and typically fruit about 2-3 years from planting. Regarding the topping- any amendments should be at the top soil layer, as would occur naturally. Let me know if you have any questions? Charles 🌱👍
Hello Katie 👋 Generally, this concept is done for related fruit trees to improve cross pollination and fruit set. I’m sure you could put unrelated trees too- however, another topic related to this concept is managing the vigor between trees when planting multiple trees in the same hole. The goal is to keep pruning the most vigorous of the trees to balance the light exposure & air circulation among all the trees. Happy Gardening 2024! Charles 🌱👍
normally you would graft in that case. you will have better results and can mix more than 2. you could mix or graft as many different types as u wanted, we had one with 3 different fruits.
Our favorite ppl we like chatting with when we go to their events.
Great group of fellers working together. I have several self pollinating plums I'm hoping to plant soon this will be helpful 🌞🙏💚
And of course I will be whitewashed with ivorganic🙌

Thanks, I didn’t consider light exposure but wonder about cross polination affecting the fruit

It's the word on the street. Just like the stories about "jocks" Only Fans channel. I also heard that Eric likes knitting scarves.
