Doggone ground squirrels ate fruit and foliage and climbed around breaking branches right and left in my stone fruit this year. So discouraging! Next year I will try tulle all over the fencing around each tree. And if that fails, I may finally resort to traps.

Hi. N. Illinois here. I have a question about a wild soft maple that I transferred 5 years ago. This tree is looking very healthy but is circled by shoots that are approximately 1 to 2 inches in diameter. What is a safe way to remove the shoots to free up the main trunk? Thanks

I’m looking at how much soil space you have between the both sidewalks, is that space big enough ? Could it be adding to the problems of your lemon tree?

Hello Ricky, 👋 Many major US cities have compost/ mulch programs where you can get free material, such as Griffith Park here in Los Angeles. The mulch in this lesson was purchased at Home Depot- they should have all the products Kelloggs brand and wood chip products I used. In this lesson. Let me know if you have any questions? Have a GREAT week! Charles 🌱👍

Look at those lemons!!! Wow!!! Just proof of how important it is to use IV Organic products on your citrus!!! My container trees continue to thrive here in the midwest, unreal how fast leafing has occurred after pruning back main trunks of both Lisbon & Eureka lemon and Washington Navel trees!!! Your AWESOME instruction, as well as all the products you have produced, have been so beneficial over the years!!! Thank you much, Charles! Blessings...Al W. 🙂
