Pleased to have found your channel. I started racing in FVee in the UK, running for about 6 years before moving to Formula Ford 2000 (Super Ford in the USA). We run 1300cc engines, single port, with cut down front axles minus the horns. They were pretty simple in my day, but they've introduced more complex rear suspension set ups since I left, I believe. I had the luck to run in the 30th (I think) Anniversary meeting at Road America, and raced my UK car in Germany, Italy, France, Belgium and the Netherlands on a relatively tiny budget. Ended up in a Dallara F3 with VW engine, so came back to VW in the end! Currently have two T4 trucks on the drive. Great to see a VW channel on TH-cam. Keep at it!
I remember my dad telling me about Formula Vee, it was excellent being able to actually SEE the cars. Annnnnnnd seeing the RV section at COTA has me thinking about next year's USGP!
I drove a Lynx Formula Vee at Lime Rock wayyy back in 1982. Started 21, finished 10. Thanks for the video.
