for real life athletes a game of any sports feels like a death game just like how you play a competitive video game you lose you'll probably be disappointed and the anime is all about egoism to be the best you believe that you are the best, unlike other sports anime where we must win as a team but bluelock I WILL CRUSH UR DREAMS, for example Ronaldo he's a legend because he dose everything his self but sometimes yk he dose teamwork if it's needed, bluelock is just like that it adds action into sports

Other nicknames given to blue lock characters include: Bakugo, Priesty-Boy/Monk-Boy, Purple (Reo), Gator-Brows, Gator-Hair, Panda, The Creature/Abomination/Eldritch-Horror/Demon/Hideous-Being (all Ego), and "That-One-Guy-from-Blue-Exorcist" (a minor character none of use know the actual name of, but we all made jokes that he'd secretly infiltrated Blue Lock to exorcise Ego...)
"I am on board for anything as long as this little weirdo gets to find love by the end" was exactly my thoughts watching this anime. I don't know why but for the first time ever I can kinda relate to that meme from Brooklyn 99 like, I have known Bachira for 5 seconds but if anything bad happens to him I will kill everyone in this room and then myself.
My first impression of Bachira was like "hey that sleepy little twink low-key looks like me I'm gonna latch onto him"... Yeah, so now I'm stuck with a gymnast possessed with a football demon as my favourite character
I hope Bachira and Isagi become friends because technically they're all competition to each other but I already love Bachira so much so I want him to have a happy ending and hope his unhinged energy stays consistent throughout the show
''I can't wait to see this lady's backstory'' Manga reader here, I can't wait either, any day now... Also, while the show is all about indepence, teamwork is also very much encouraged, just not by the evil coach, moreso by the story itself
It seems to me that he knows team work is important but it needs to be balanced with individual players skills and since everyone is already ingrained into the idea of teamwork he is just leaving that side of the equation to them in favor of stoking the flames for the less already ingrained side of the equation.

The teamwork that Blue Locks wants to exhibit is not that kind of trust-believe one. When everybody is your rival, you begin to observe them more than a creepy stalker. Hence, you know their weaknesses and strengths and therefore allows you to make decisions in game without biases and prejudices. You know who to trust that will also deliver. Blue Lock is redefining teamwork.
I loved this anime so much that after episode one I read the entire manga up to current release, and Blue Lock honestly just gets better and better. It tops my charts now, actually a 10/10 show

I am super excited about Blue Lock, and I agree with how cool it is and it's so my type of anime with the darker underlying themes. I have only seen the first two episodes and will definitely continue it....but, Danny I am begging you, do not give up on Chainsaw Man. I don't know if you will continue to react to it but trust me, by the time all the episodes are out, if you watch them, you will most likely want to continue it in the next season or part two of season one (I'm not sure how they are doing it). I have read chainsaw man two times all the way through and I still am very hyped for what is going to happen in the anime. It starts off a little slow but just wait till episode 4-5 it gets insane. Also, a lot of the characters are not even introduced yet so, there's that.

If youre wondering why the art looks so horror esque, the manga artists do mainly horror manga so this was one of their first non horror properties

I have only seen the first two episodes and will definitely continue it....but, Danny I am begging you, do not give up on Chainsaw Man. I don't know if you will continue to react to it but trust me, by the time all the episodes are out, if you watch them, you will most likely want to continue it in the next season or part two of season one (I'm not sure how they are doing it). I have read chainsaw man two times all the way through and I still am very hyped for what is going to happen in the anime. It starts off a little slow but just wait till episode 4-5 it gets insane. Also, a lot of the characters are not even introduced yet so, there's that.

Not sure why this just popped up for me but holy shit!! You had me laughing so hard I couldn't keep it in. Problem with that is it's 3am and my hubby is asleep next to me. I had to get up and hide in the bathroom cause I could NOT stop laughing!! Weird loud noises were coming out of me cause I was trying to stifle the laugh. OMG!!
