As a new yo-yoer I found this video fascinating! Can’t wait to get to a point in the hobby where I’m developing my own tricks! Well done for persevering Brandon 😁👍❤️
You should try experimenting with your own tricks right after you get the fundamentals down just because its the best part of yoyoing imo. Of course making your own tricks gets way easier after you know more elements and more mounts
I also hate learning new tricks because while trying to do it I always get knots and change a new trick especially learning the green triangle it was the hardest trick to get out of without geting a knot but after 1 month of practice i finally can do it woth no problem
Don't worry man, I'm also constantly learning new tricks and as a result, I always struggle with executing whatever I'm learning. But it eventually pays off. I have been learning a few takeshi tricks since he's one of my fav players of all time and although it took months to land it once, and another few months to land it 3 times in a row, now I can land it much more consistency than before and I believe that I'll be able to become a better player as a whole. I also sometimes just noodle around trying to find new elements and I found that it helps a lot when I film a POV video so that way I don't forget elements I like. After a while, I eventually find new ways of entering mounts which would help set up the previously discovered elements that I didn't use cause of the janky setup, and that way I can build a more flowy combo as a whole. I'm sure eventually you'll find a better way of entering your tower setup. I'd love to see a finalized version of that combo if you ever find something you like.
Because doing the ones your already good at makes you look good while struggling with new ones makes you feel like you suck hahah super relatable glad even at the highest level you feel this way
I'm on the same boat. I have a love/hate relationship trying to figure out new tricks. It's very rewarding if you figure something out. ITS SO FRUSTRATING however, not being able to figure it out. LOL. oh well. There's so many yoyo tricks/combos/movements/elements to figure out. NOT enough time in the world. For real.
@@thebrandonvu thx can you make a flow combo tutorial maybe i use to yoyo a lot but i dont really anymore so i dont know combos learning one would be cool
The thing I love is experimenting with Element and Mounts. Creating my own tricks. Some times I learn new tricks then I sort of take Elements from some tricks peice them all together and WALLA we got something, sometimes looks cool sometimes looks okay. But the main thing is I guess is it can be challenging yes but if it was easy then it wouldn't be a skill or Art form if you know what I mean. Great Vulog main man as always #VuCrew4Life ✌️🪀

Cheers bro!!
@@thebrandonvu stocks? Are the clear Yoyo's going to be in stock
Honestly I could watch an hour video of you just doing yo-yo freestyles. Doesn’t even have to be edited just you doing freestyles.
Same
