This is a fantastic piece. Inspired vocal by Alba Armengou showcases her range and phrasing. Beautiful vocal harmony with Andrea Motis. And, one of of my favorite Andrea trumpet solos. Muted trumpet and flute is a highlight of a superb arrangement. Thank you to the musicians and especially Alba for a wonderful listening experience.
I just can’t get over the musical competence of each and every one of these players! Stunning! Kudos to Joan Chamorro and his leadership!
Any time a trumpet solo is called for, nobody could possibly do a finer job than Andrea!

We all love Alba's voice and style. But would love to hear more trumpet, too. Brings back those pure sounds of Chet Baker and Clifford Brown. Sometimes I like to hear the fast intricate stuff. But the pure clean sounds that Alba/Chet/Clifford bring is special.
Joan Chamorro's kids are always a wonderful treat to watch and hear. Wonderful.

Both ladies are at the top of their game here. Great style. One of Andrea's best trumpet solos. I hope I'm around when Alba gets to be about 30 years old in order to hear how her lower register will have developed by then. Deep and rich I would guess!

Me too man....I'm really happy someone else noticed it too....that's her speciality...maybe because of the song...and also just like other singers put in a lot of effort and style when hitting high notes, Alba does that for the low one....I noticed it in the video for Triste
Khangenbam Avanjit that’s true, this is a part of Alba’s style, and maybe somebody doesn’t like it, but I do. It also makes her able to sing more complex and diverse vocal lines.

Wonderful arrangement. Great vocals and solos. After listening to a few of Ignasi Terrasa's piano solos, I am impressed with his left hand's counterpoint rhythm. That rhythm demands full attention - it draws you in.
It is really nice tune. Alba Armengou's vocal performance was great. Andre Motis as always did very tasty improvization. Congrats for all other band member either.
