SUP the Brecon & Monmouthshire Canal - paddle boarding uk

Join us for a SUP adventure on the Brecon and Monmouthshire Canal. We visited on a sunny Sunday in summer and paddled for 9.5 miles from Gilwern Wharf to Goytre Wharf.
We left a car at each end on this occasion and it cost £1 to park all day at Goytre Wharf. The machine takes coins only and doesn't give change. It is managed by the Canal and River Trust. On a weekend I would recommend getting there before 9 for a parking spot in both places. Gilwern Wharf is right on the canal bank with an easy launch at both ends into the water.
There are plenty of picturesque places to stop for lunch and a pub or two along the way.
The boards belong to us and we have not been paid to make this video. I would very much consider being paid though haha!

What did you do once you get to the end? Do you deflate the paddle and then take a bus back to the car, or do you paddle back the way you came? How can you lock your paddle if you want to stop by a pub on route?
