also this manga published on shonen jump contains action , horror and also got many attentions for the readers so it needs to be 24 episodes
unless this manga nearly ended
because it's currently on 88 chapters. and if the author wants to continue it or ended it early. who knows
just like fire punch(same author) only consists 83 chapters ended so it only has 12 episodes if this get animated.

lol Viz didn't censor anything, this is a different Chainsaw Man trailer than the one you're thinking of that you can also find on Shonen Jump's TH-cam channel, the "censorship" isn't actually censoring anything, did you not notice the censorship screens glitching out? Also, if you're complaining about them "removing all the swearing" you're reading fan translations that insert gratuitous amounts of swearing that isn't actually present in the original Japanese.
