I worked at a mower shop and a regular commercial customer put chevron tread (tractor) tires on his BobCats. I was surprised but they wouldn’t tear the turf like I thought. He was cutting in the hills of SW Virginia.
I understand the why for the 3 point turn but I’m left wondering why have a zero turn if you still have to do the backup, forward thing like I do on my traditional lawn tractor/rider mower. You have me thinking I should remove the zero turn from my wish list.
I didn't want a zero turn but saw that ferris has suspension. If you can do that, you can go faster and cut more often without killing your back and your grass will be 3 times better.
Can you do a video on what to do if a hedge that wasnot there before pops up between your 4 foot high chain link fence and your neighbors high wooden fence. Their is no way I can climb my fence to cut it.
Appreciate the training and explanation!
It’s does take practice to get it right, real easy to do a lot of turf damage with these mowers !!

Some snappers zero turns used come with chevrons. Never a problem.
