I am obsessed with this game. The way it captured me and created a resentment towards Anton is something that I did not experience in Far Cry 5. I know people love Vaas in FC3 but I personally didn't. This is imo the best in the Franchise regarding the gameplay loop and story that I look for. Thank you for the tips, I will be unlocking the weapon shop today but do struggle a bit gathering material. Happy gaming in Yara.
I get why some people aren't impressed with Anton. They wanted another kind of Pagan Min, where his enemies are just as bad as him, but sometimes you just need a villain you can hate. Anton truly loves Yara, but could care less about the people that live there. Anton's idea of love is loyalty and the idea that people owe their lives to the chunk of land they happened to be born on.
Right? I heard the developers saying not to look at Anton as a villian. I judge people by their fruit, (action). A person who totally disregards other people's lives is a villian. In the beginning of the game I saw soldatos mowing down the pasants. Than I knew, if that is okay with the leader, I know he/she is BAD!
I totally agree. I think it is amazing for a new villain to be created. Each character and even human being in life is different. No two persons are ever the same. That's why, it's not the end of the world if we do not get a copy/pasted Vaas or even Pagan. Anton is excellent. One flaw or rather bother I have is, I wish we see him more, but still, the feelings I have towards him, and to answer the (have you burned down billboards question), the feeling I get when I burn the heck out of these billboards, the chills, uf. I have not felt like this all year with any game. I'm happy to hear more people love this game since most reviews and people I see are hating on this new entry without giving it a chance. Glad you guys did give this a chance
@Miss Bubbles Not sure which materials you're struggling with. You might want to try using the Scrounger coat. The perk is "acquire additional crafting materials." The Scrounger shoes automatically gather nearby items while in a vehicle but I don't know what exactly is meant by "items." FND bases have lots of materials. You can also look for Libertad crates. I picked up an awesome tip earlier today which was to change the outline color for "pickups" to the pink/purple color. It's the perfect color for this. You have to go into the HUD settings and turn on the "pickups outline" for that to work but it works great. Now I can see all of the materials from far away and I no longer have to choose between missing materials or spending 20 minutes looking around to make sure I don't miss anything. Just turning on the outline wasn't enough for me. Changing the outline color helps so much!
Dude that Tip of changing from single, burst and full auto is clutch. I suggest using the Bow with EMP tips for vehicles. No damage if you still want to keep it and it's silent.
The furyoso is ok when you boost jump but it burns everything behind you sometimes causing major fires that you yourself get toasted on. So in my opinion it's not great
Anyone having issues with the Enemy respawns. Any time in a compound or even a story mission, you clear a few enemies out, walk round the corner and they’ve respawned. It’s infinite. It’s ruining the experience and makes stealth obsolete.
There's a uniform gear that allows you to pick up loot further away or automatically in a vehicle. Put this on and then go on a tank killing spree. Vehicle parts for days
I know I’m late to the game but hey I got it on sale. Great video, thank you. Gotta get that EMP launcher. One thing don’t forget that you can swap outfits on the go. Especially when you’re looking for treasure and you’ve got jumping puzzles, put your parkour outfit on. It helps tremendously. Don’t forget to put your gun in the holster. Increase stamina increase speed. Definitely makes those puzzles easier. And God knows I hate jumping puzzles. But this does help
regarding the trading part of materials, for those who want the platinum, get the food related one out of the way and then, build all the camp upgrades. after that you're free to convert/trade everything at your leisure :) and you won't need to hijack trucks or look for resources because they won't have a point anymore :p so it's just run-shoot-kill-run-shoot-kill-... ow and another thing, when you advance the story-related mission (recruiting the different factions) when you hit major steps, the enemies will become harder all over the map... so start out by finding all the camps, do as many bases/checkpoints/AA guns and then go on with the story, it makes it a lot less stressfull ;-)
Here's how you can make the game a lot easier: get Zeusito or another EMP weapon and wait for a tank. Jump on top and hijack it. After that bring it to a vehicle spawn point and then you can call it in anytime and take it on missions. Makes life in fc6 a lot easier
@@mediavideos2176 no you cant. Cant scan the military vehicles. But there is an easy tank on the first island in the north west area that you can get early game. And you also get given a tank as reward for one of the yaran stories which isnt to difficult to complete.
Thanks for the tips. I use the Furioso backpack to survive big falls on purpose - jump off cliff, then press jump again just before you hit the ground. The left stick can also be used to steer the direction of the boost to any heading.

All great tips that I already knew about and found out for myself while playing the game, except for the scanning vehicles, which I will now be using. I am also a natural born explorer, so spending hours and hours exploring every nook and cranny, does not bother me in the least. Great tip video overall!
Also, get the second upgrade for Hideout Network ASAP!!! At each smaller hideout, there will be a blue box that gives 10 each of metal, gas, and medicine. Also if you play with friends, you can let them in your map to grab the loot, then switch to their map to double up on it. It also resets every 24 hours (real world)
3 Cool Tips from me: 👽 1)While Air dropping, pause the menu to see all the no fly zone rings that surround anti aircraft guns, even if their locations have not yet been disclosed. 2) 👽To quickly refill ammo, just use a weapons upgrade bench but don't mod anything. Literally, jump on, jump off. Thanks for the vid. Love the color changing tips. Also EMP stuff. Especially on helis! (Them bastards) 3) 👽I don't think you mentioned this one. In your menu you can toggle on not just enemy outlines but also OBJECTS that you need to collect. Additionally, you can choose whatever color you'd like to make them. There are a ton of color changing options in the menu actually. If you suddenly start seeing pink rings around your anti aircraft sites, that's because the "color blind" mode was switched on accidentally. I did this a couple times when i was messing around with colors. (Suddenly I'm having issues with this. It allows me to change the colors but also makes all my anti aircraft canons pink and if I change color blind mode from custom to off it goes back to standard. 😢 Okay doke! That's all I gots for now! ❤
Traveling the slow way you discover more and see the game more. People get stuck in the routine of rushing around completing tasks and forget to relax and take in the game. I forget all the time
There's clothing that gives you a speed boost when you reload, so equip a weapon (I use the nail gun for this) shoot once, reload and when you are reloading, sprint. Now just repeat that over and over again and you'll run as fast as possible.
Furiosa supremo, parkour shorts (faster after sliding) or prisoner pants (greatly faster speed but louder), munition boots (faster when reloading) or parkour kicks (faster movement speed) and speedy spaghetti (Tarzan croc) are the best options for speed.
The speed boost from the Parkour pants and shoes together is pretty insane- a slide gives a 30 second speed buff. And since run 'n slide is a must during most combat anyway, its a game changer. Even beat a timed supply drop start to finish. S/he does look absolutely ridiculous tho :/
There is equipment you can equip that will allow you to restock on all gadgets with a gadget kill allowing you to practically spam gadgets. You’re able to create character sets where you can change all equipment and weapons so we can set them for different situations. If you want to travel around and do missions but mainly to take out anti-air missiles you can travel using a helicopter at low altitudes in restricted airspace in order to take out the missiles using helicopter missiles.
Every single weapon you unlock is accessible at any given time without needing to go to a workbench. Don't like the resolver weapon your using just switch it out for another one. Only thing is you can't change attachments on the go, you'll need a workbench for that.
Honestly I felt stupid just realizing yesterday that I could change my weapons and gear without using a workbench. Luckily I am not too far into the game after realizing it. I thought I was the only one that didn't realize this.
Regarding the EMP option: if you want to remain stealthy, get the compound bow and equip it with EMP arrows. You won’t have the same explosive results, but you WILL have a vehicle ripe for the taking provided it survives the crash (helicopters lol).
@@_Blonca waaaaait so your saying a game released in 2021 isn't hot garbage? Awesome I'm getting fc 6 tomorrow for my bday so happy that its actually good
It's worth mentioning how easy triador and la varita are to obtain at the start which will allow you to shoot everything including tank and helicopter drivers through the wall. Also you can kill tanks with nothing but a pistol. Shoot the drum at the back then hit its exposed engine. And of course Los bandidos operations are the best source of all mats and money by far.
i saw a pretty good tip that has helped and hopefully it'll help some of ya but u can change the outline color of anything that can be picked up, change it to say red, purple, etc and itll help make spotting that stuff a lot easier
Loving this game so far, graphics are that good that I use the photo mode quite often and even download it using the xbox app to install it as a background for my phone
What I wish I knew sooner was that attachments are unlocked for a weapon type as a whole, not just a particular gun. I didn't unlock a red dot sight for my assault rifle because I assumed I would get a better one eventually and I'd want to save my materials to build a sight for it instead. If only I knew this earlier, I would have been looking through a red dot sight hours earlier than I did.
I'm having a difficult time becoming friends with the ammo system. When it was introduced in the story I thought it would be awesome, but so far it's more of a handicap. Constantly switching weapons to stuff I don't want to use just because it has the right ammo type. You would think that armor piercing would shred soft targets. Maybe if there was a universal type or something.
I think you should absolutely be able to switch ammo on the fly, just like FC5. On the point of AP doing less damage to soft targets, that actually makes sense. AP rounds are typically smaller, pointier and much harder than normal so they can penetrate better. But, this means that they will do less internal tissue damage because they don't spread out and deform as they travel through the body. More just straight in and straight out.
I don't I head shot all if them regardless of helmet or not and they all die in one shot. Dude you can have like 4 guns in this game, use a sniper rifle with armor piercing, have a hand gun with standard rounds, have an assault rifle or shot gun with soft body, the last slot gun is for fun, like flamethrower or crossbow. Plus you can scout the area first and see what rounds or guns you need and do a load out. Don't see the problem here.
Go for Head shots and equip the Head Gear that doesn't cost you any ammo when getting a Head shot. I use it all the time never have to look for ammo again unless I go loud in which case I always have one weapon in my wheel that doesn't have armor piercing rounds
Yeah I agree. Having to constantly switch weapons instead of just bullets, by going into the menu instead of just opening the wheel, kills immersion. I end up chosing to use the wrong weapons just so I can keepn playing without stopping all the time.
I literally just got this game today,I'm waiting for it to install to my ps4. I'm so excited,I've not played a new game since fallout 4 came out. I just hope it's good, I love open map games.
i just got far cry 6 and dudee i was so lost riding my horse around the whole map, following those blue roads xD i’m such a bot hahah but this helped so much, thank you! keep up the great freaking work man!
Be aware, since the only reason to pick the m79 over other gl’s was its sidearm class, its not useless, since its not a sidearm. Using the 6 shot grenade launcher as an explosion spammer is very effective.
You can hyjack a FND chopper useing bow with EMP arrows, the chopper won't get destroyed once it lands, only get disabled for like 10 seconds once it hit the ground.
I had no idea about the camera vehicle thing. That is great. One thing about the hideouts and dropping in. Pretty sure you can't drop in if an AA gun is still active near there. Also about the EMP on tanks. Whenever I EMP grenade a tank it only shuts it down for a maybe 5-10 seconds and then the tank is right back running again.
For me this is the best Far Cry ever. FC3 was very good, but I feel like this game has that vibe, but it just does most everything better. I honestly don't get the mixed opinions on this one. It seems like FC5 fared better with critics, but it's not nearly as good imo. Either way, as long as you aren't expecting a genre defining game, but just a very fun game, this should do it. I'm having a blast, and I was bored at this point in FC5.
I didn’t know till I beat the game that you can hijack land vehicles by driving next to them. Also you can self revive when you have the medical supremo equipped.
The one tip I wish I knew sooner, was the fact that there is another supremo, triador, which can be unlocked by completing the treasure hunt Oku's triadic relics, you also pick up other goodies on these quests, like La Varita, a resolver weapon(which when paired with triador, is something otherworldly), and Oluso, the most badass amigo in the game.
I own a miniature black panther IRL. Well she's an American Tabby but you can't tell her that! The black godlike Jaguar is named Shadow Striker (also knows as Oluso). My black cat is named Shadow. Shadow likes to watch me play using Shadow Striker. Lets face it, Black Cats Rule.
The little attack helicopter when you add it to your list of vehicles is the most OP way of destroying everything in the air and ground. Especially when you wear the pants that auto repair the chopper when you are flying it. If antiaircraft sites are up you just fly really close to the ground and they cannot shoot at you. That way you can fly just above the ground right up to the launcher and hit it with rockets to destroy it. Capturing checkpoints with one is really easy too. As well as big animal hunts. Capturing bases is also easy with the helo. It’s probably the most useful thing in the game
The amigos are super helpful, Champagne is great to start, helps get you more pesos, but once you can get Oluso go for it, she collects pesos and everything else that a bad guy is carrying before she literally sends them to hell in a poof of fire hahaha Also Guapo will fight sharks and big fish in the water for you while you are swimming.
@LegacyGamingUS A tip you missed in my opinion is the overclocked weapons. They are not easy to get, but they are so worth it. I have an inventory equipped with nothing but overclocked weapons and you instantly feel pretty OP.
About the NPCs with information. I don't know if someone already said this considering it's been over a year or have said it for the previous far cry 5. Instead of finding the NPCs for information throughout the map, you can fast-travel to an already liberated checkpoint or go to an outpost where you could talk to the information NPC and fast-travel again to the same place to reset it and get more information.
PSA, Best Flying Vehicle Is the Avispa Buzzer. Game Changer. Small enough to land ANYWHERE. Twin machine guns. Can land in water. acts as a hovercraft at low altitude so you can avoid Anti-aircraft fire. Rear seat for Co-op Partner or for yourself for deep sea fishing...Also! It counts as a boat and a Helicopter so it can be requested from either a helipad or a Dock. It really can land anywhere too
Something I struggled with in the first few ranks were choppers and temen tanks since I didn’t have rpgs or explosives I had to shoot them down I found out the tank has a gas tank you can shoot and it exposes the engine saved me a lot of bullets

Quick tip something you don’t mention.
You can also change the item outline to a brighter color like pink makes it even more easy to spot items
You the man for not spoiling anything and just giving great info. Please don’t change. Def subscribing
Dude that Tip of changing from single, burst and full auto is clutch.
I suggest using the Bow with EMP tips for vehicles. No damage if you still want to keep it and it's silent.
Great way to change it up. Definitely going to try it out with a bow
@@LegacyGamingUS 👀ing a helicopter fall from the sky with no damage and the NPCs running out confused never gets old
The furyoso is ok when you boost jump but it burns everything behind you sometimes causing major fires that you yourself get toasted on. So in my opinion it's not great
Anyone having issues with the Enemy respawns. Any time in a compound or even a story mission, you clear a few enemies out, walk round the corner and they’ve respawned. It’s infinite. It’s ruining the experience and makes stealth obsolete.
It’s only at certain locations that eventually end up being in actual story missions, I figured that out.
Yeah if it’s doing this it means you’re not meant to kill them yet.
It’s happening everywhere, during and outside of story missions. They respawn at a crazy rate.
What platform are you on? I have not had this problem at all on Series X
@@StoneAgeProductions143 Series X. It’s a known issue from what I’ve read online.
There's a uniform gear that allows you to pick up loot further away or automatically in a vehicle. Put this on and then go on a tank killing spree. Vehicle parts for days

Where do you find those
I know I’m late to the game but hey I got it on sale. But this does help
this tip is gold and underrated!
regarding the trading part of materials, for those who want the platinum, get the food related one out of the way and then, build all the camp upgrades. after that you're free to convert/trade everything at your leisure :) and you won't need to hijack trucks or look for resources because they won't have a point anymore :p so it's just run-shoot-kill-run-shoot-kill-...
ow and another thing, when you advance the story-related mission (recruiting the different factions) when you hit major steps, the enemies will become harder all over the map... so start out by finding all the camps, do as many bases/checkpoints/AA guns and then go on with the story, it makes it a lot less stressfull ;-)
Thus is a great video! And a must if you're just starting the game. I'm 20+ hours in and Im still glad I watched it. Great job bro!
Here's how you can make the game a lot easier: get Zeusito or another EMP weapon and wait for a tank. Jump on top and hijack it. After that bring it to a vehicle spawn point and then you can call it in anytime and take it on missions. Makes life in fc6 a lot easier
You can call it in anywhere or just at vehicle stations?
@@reesewestfall405 vehicle stations
@@Tiny_TheFellOmen You can just scan the Tank with your phone and it will appear at your vehicle station.
@@mediavideos2176 no you cant. Cant scan the military vehicles. But there is an easy tank on the first island in the north west area that you can get early game. And you also get given a tank as reward for one of the yaran stories which isnt to difficult to complete.
I already finished the game but I’m still watching tips and tricks lmao
Thanks for the tips. I use the Furioso backpack to survive big falls on purpose - jump off cliff, then press jump again just before you hit the ground. The left stick can also be used to steer the direction of the boost to any heading.
I'm catching up on everything Far Cry 6 now I'm finally playing it (figured I'd give them time, see if it's finished 🙍)and I'll say this:
That algorithm is doing you guys a massive disservice - content this well-produced deserves the audience to appreciate it.
Even your thumbnails(for me) are eye-catching yet clean and nary a trace of WordArt or comic sans.
Cheers to you both for your commitment - whenever I'm into something new, you've got it covered. 👍🍻🇨🇦
All great tips that I already knew about and found out for myself while playing the game, except for the scanning vehicles, which I will now be using. I am also a natural born explorer, so spending hours and hours exploring every nook and cranny, does not bother me in the least. Great tip video overall!
If you aren't exploring every corner than why buy a open world game?
Also, get the second upgrade for Hideout Network ASAP!!!
At each smaller hideout, there will be a blue box that gives 10 each of metal, gas, and medicine. Also if you play with friends, you can let them in your map to grab the loot, then switch to their map to double up on it.
It also resets every 24 hours (real world)
No it doesn’t, it resets every ingame day
3 Cool Tips from me: 👽 1)While Air dropping, pause the menu to see all the no fly zone rings that surround anti aircraft guns, even if their locations have not yet been disclosed.
2) 👽To quickly refill ammo, just use a weapons upgrade bench but don't mod anything. Literally, jump on, jump off.
Thanks for the vid. Love the color changing tips. Also EMP stuff. Especially on helis! (Them bastards)
3) 👽I don't think you mentioned this one. 😢
Okay doke! That's all I gots for now! ❤
The aircraft one is useful 👍
Traveling the slow way you discover more and see the game more. People get stuck in the routine of rushing around completing tasks and forget to relax and take in the game. I forget all the time
Facts 💯
There's clothing that gives you a speed boost when you reload, so equip a weapon (I use the nail gun for this) shoot once, reload and when you are reloading, sprint. Now just repeat that over and over again and you'll run as fast as possible.
No. Use the parkour outfit and slide. It gives you a massive speed boost for quite some time
Furiosa supremo, parkour shorts (faster after sliding) or prisoner pants (greatly faster speed but louder), munition boots (faster when reloading) or parkour kicks (faster movement speed) and speedy spaghetti (Tarzan croc) are the best options for speed.
If this never came to gamepass I would've never discovered how good this Far Cry actually is! Very fun
The speed boost from the Parkour pants and shoes together is pretty insane- a slide gives a 30 second speed buff. And since run 'n slide is a must during most combat anyway, its a game changer. Even beat a timed supply drop start to finish. S/he does look absolutely ridiculous tho :/
Yeah I like how they give this to players early too. Makes a lot of sense since the move speed is pretty valuable
I believe you can change the appearance of gear by inspecting them
You can change the appearance of gear
4:29 the way you said "resolver" cracked me up
I’m actually enjoying this game a lot. Thanks for this video btw
You can refill your ammo every.5 hours from the trunk of the ride that you call from the weapons wheel.
I just wish we could change ammo types.. edit: without the workbench..
@@fightlikabrave I think the best outcome is use different attachments for different enemy types so your prepared for any enemy type you encounter.
How do you switch it out?
@@rebeccahall4209 in the arsenal in the pause menu
Honestly I felt stupid just realizing yesterday that I could change my weapons and gear without using a workbench. Luckily I am not too far into the game after realizing it. I thought I was the only one that didn't realize this.
Got this game yesterday since it's on sale on PlayStation Store- really enjoying it so far. Good tips.
Regarding the EMP option: if you want to remain stealthy, get the compound bow and equip it with EMP arrows. You won’t have the same explosive results, but you WILL have a vehicle ripe for the taking provided it survives the crash (helicopters lol).

I hope they keep coming out with bigger and better FarCry's. I love it!
hijacked trucks give waay more resources when you drop them off at a vehicle point, so if you have one close by its definitely worth to drive there
Great tip
I had no idea I could scan horses too. Awesome stuff. Thanks for the emp grenade tip as well.
Loving this game so far, graphics are that good that I use the photo mode quite often and even download it using the xbox app to install it as a background for my phone
Graphics are lastgen on ps4pro tho
That intro track is 🔥
What I wish I knew sooner was that attachments are unlocked for a weapon type as a whole, not just a particular gun. I didn't unlock a red dot sight for my assault rifle because I assumed I would get a better one eventually and I'd want to save my materials to build a sight for it instead. If only I knew this earlier, I would have been looking through a red dot sight hours earlier than I did.
Omg, so if I create an 8x scope for one particular sniper, will it be available for any of the same type ?
@@josuexq I believe so, yes.
Head Shots.. This game is All About The Headshots.. Armor Piercing rounds go straight through helmets so Headshots work on Any enemy..
Yeah I agree. Having to constantly switch weapons instead of just bullets, by going into the menu instead of just opening the wheel, kills immersion. I end up chosing to use the wrong weapons just so I can keepn playing without stopping all the time.
The item outline was absolutely a LIFESAVER‼️🤧😮💨👏🏻📈⏰

gamepass babyy
There’s so much to this game that i logged over 100 hours got bored and stopped playing. Lol just re download it and started playing again.
Not sure if anyone has said it yet but every time you visit a workbench your ammo and equipment refill automatically
There is a nice shotgun on top of the light house on the first island where you start the game close to Juan
Also the emp sticky grenades are great for tanks
yes they are
If you use the wing suit go down then up to gain speed and distance
For me this is the best Far Cry ever. FC3 was very good, but I feel like this game has that vibe, but it just does most everything better. I honestly don't get the mixed opinions on this one. It seems like FC5 fared better with critics, but it's not nearly as good imo. Either way, as long as you aren't expecting a genre defining game, but just a very fun game, this should do it. I'm having a blast, and I was bored at this point in FC5.
Have you noticed how broken the a.i is? How come no ones talking about this. It's just as bad as cyberpunk 2077
Good tips. I got my copy yesterday and don’t plan on playing for a few days but am loading it onto my xbox today.
This game is All About The Headshots!! lol.. Love this game, can't stop playing it!!
Proximity mines make great grenades in a pinch.
the emp rounds blew my mind
I didn’t know till I beat the game that you can hijack land vehicles by driving next to them. Also you can self revive when you have the medical supremo equipped.
Thank you so much!
I should have watched this sooner. I completed 70% of the game already 😢
I loved air dropping my way around in far cry 5, I unlocked the wingsuit instantly one I saw it made a return.
As always thanks for the tips. Especially since I just coped this last night.
I love how games just decide every single time they’re used to make suppressors behave the exact opposite of how they should
The amigos are super helpful, Champagne is great to start, helps get you more pesos, but once you can get Oluso go for it, she collects pesos and everything else that a bad guy is carrying before she literally sends them to hell in a poof of fire hahaha Also Guapo will fight sharks and big fish in the water for you while you are swimming.
Ok so i knew it all except two.
The phone car scan and the item outline. Great tips
Thanks for the emp Grenade tip ! That is a game changer !
Try the EMP arrow on the bow! Goes further than a grenade.
I have discovered that if you air drop over a mountain and wing suit I can usually travel close to 1500-2000 m.
You can reveal the map by flying in the flying car. It's the only air vehicllhle that does it
I love how big the game is!

A nice tip, change the outline color to like pink, the items are even easier to see.
