Vin, the original champions are dead, remember? Babby bird was Tulin, the son of Teba (the Rito who helps you board the Divine Beast), 'Urbosa' was Riju (her descendent, current Gerudo chief) and 'Adult Mipha' was Sidon (her younger brother). Conspicuously absent are Teba himself, and Yunobo, the Goron who uses himself as a cannonball when you're climbing Death Mountain. However, there's a brief glimpse of the Boulder Breaker (Daruk's weapon of choice) in the trailer, which to me implies the Goron champion is an as-of-yet unrevealed character.
There is that scene of a fireball enemy launching itself at link. Looking closely, it seems very close to a goron. perhaps we will be fighting gorons in some respect
@@TomatoArcher yeah, perhaps with it looking like we have party member types in some capacity, perhaps we’ll also get ganon corrupted gerudo zora gorons etc, do hope that we see the Yiga still as well

I think the dark skinned elves are the Zonai tribe that mysteriously disappeared from the jungle area leaving all those ruins. Seems like they ended up underground and are now emerging. I hope we get underground settlements and lots of cave systems! Also the trailer shows a large stone temple rising from the sands so I'm assuming that's a dungeon. Arbiter's Ground maybe?
So my two cents: I think the "goat man" (I think he looks more like a dragon man personally) is the last Zonai potentially. I think the dark skinned "elf" woman is actually a previous incarnation of Zelda, because she looks very similar to our current Zelda. Time seems to potentially be a theme, we might see time travel a la OoT or Skyward Sword probably just for one off story moments if we do get it.
@@Apollo9898LP I think they're all Zonai, including the person talking to Zelda in the trailer. Maybe they can turn into beasts via magic? Their ruins are very beastial. Also Kilton from BoTW had that same dark grey skin tone which makes me think he is also a Zonai that was left on the surface maybe an outcast. Zelda most likely makes contact with them when she falls.
Unfortunately the sky islands' advanced technology allowed them to build 7-Elevens, so Link prefers to buy pre-made meals now. You know, so he can spend even more time running around doing side quests while Zelda sits underground thinking he's making a beeline straight towards her rescue 😂
Finally seeing Crenando was a big highlight for me. I love that the world has even more to explore especially with the addition of skylands and a lot of different puzzles and mechanics. It was exciting to see new characters too. Also those were the descendants of the Champions as in Riju replacing Urbosa, Sidon replacing Mipha, and Teba and his son replacing Revali they seem to play a pivotal role in this game.

Them or those green bot mobs are the lesser-evil faction of the game (TotK's equivalent of the Yiga Faction from Botw possibly?). I'm guessing the sky lands and underground dungeons are going to replace the old shrine puzzles. Also, the lady @ 3:39 , is that Zelda's ancestor from 1000 years ago? Seeing NPCs fighting makes me think Nintendo actually liked the concept of Age of Calamity and decided to implement it into the game (obviously without all the Dynasty Warriors wacky stuff)
One of the things I'm most interested in seeing in Tears of the Kingdom is how they'll be nerfing Hearty foods/elixirs, 'cause there's no way they aren't getting nerfed As a refresher for anyone who doesn't know/remember about Hearty foods: You could cook those up by using Hearty Durians, Radishes, or Truffles, and they would give you the yellow temporary hearts upon consumption The thing is though that Hearty foods also came with the bonus of _fully healing_ your red hearts If you just threw in even a single Hearty Durian into a pot, you've got an instant full heal to consume when needed, and there's borderline no point in cooking anything else as a result
food in general needs to be nerfed being able to pause, refill all your hearts in an instant, and get back to battle just encourages reckless gameplay they should make it so that hearts replenish gradually over time; if link stands still, hearts replenish faster
I despised the food system. I thought that there would be some crazy recipes that you would find at the start of the game, and quickly realised the food system was boring and broken
After this it's really obvious that Ganondorf was the figure, the "original hero" pictured in the mural fighting against Ganon. Wonder how that's going to work
Spectacular and chock-full of new stuff without spoiling too much, what an incredible final trailer! Unfortunately as much as it hurts me the old Champions are dead in this timeline so we got most of their successors here, can't help wondering what happened to the missing ones...
I think the zonai (weird dragony people) didn't go extinct like we thought, but went underground. It seems they found Zelda and are taking care of her, but also are somehow connected to Ganondorf and want to stop him too. I really cant wait to see it unfold!!!
I was casually excited for this game as Zelda has been a constant in my life and BotW blew me away, but this trailer singlehandedly reignited my excitement and eagerness to play this game! I can't wait to sink hundreds of hours in this world again!
And the line, "I know why I'm here. It's something only I can do." Possible congruent Zelda storyline where we fix the Master Sword for Link? Could be reaching.
It’s weird that the master sword she’s holding is completely fine and that there’s no sky islands in the last shot with Zelda too. Maybe she’s in the past?

As a refresher for anyone who doesn't know/remember about Hearty foods: You could cook those up by using Hearty Durians, Radishes, or Truffles, and they would give you the yellow temporary hearts upon consumption
The thing is though that Hearty foods also came with the bonus of _fully healing_ your red hearts
If you just threw in even a single Hearty Durian into a pot, you've got an instant full heal to consume when needed, and there's borderline no point in cooking anything else as a result
food in general needs to be nerfed
being able to pause, refill all your hearts in an instant, and get back to battle just encourages reckless gameplay
they should make it so that hearts replenish gradually over time; if link stands still, hearts replenish faster
True
@@shamwow2000 that just leads to standing behind a rock for a minute after every fight and sucks for other reasons.
I despised the food system. I thought that there would be some crazy recipes that you would find at the start of the game, and quickly realised the food system was boring and broken
After this it's really obvious that Ganondorf was the figure, the "original hero" pictured in the mural fighting against Ganon. Wonder how that's going to work
I hope we get another 7 hour stream out of this game
0:36 There's been rumors of a remaster of Skies of Arcadia recently, I really hope it's true. A remaster or sequel would be amazing.
I think this one really sold me on it, it looks awesome.
Spectacular and chock-full of new stuff without spoiling too much, what an incredible final trailer!
Unfortunately as much as it hurts me the old Champions are dead in this timeline so we got most of their successors here, can't help wondering what happened to the missing ones...
I can't wait for this playthrough. It's going to be insane.
Everybody sleeping on Zelda holding the master sword
And the line, "I know why I'm here. It's something only I can do." Possible congruent Zelda storyline where we fix the Master Sword for Link?
Could be reaching.
It’s weird that the master sword she’s holding is completely fine and that there’s no sky islands in the last shot with Zelda too. Maybe she’s in the past?
Thumbs up just because you mentioned Skies of Arcadia - my fav game.
The only reaction I need, thank u Binty. Trailer kind of blew my balls off too.
12:56 OMG.......SHIN GODZILLA
I'ma roll up to Ganon in the MegaZord.
It's Zeldin' time~!!!
