You did well. They tried to punk you and you stood up to them. You didn’t even hit him or get violent. You just spoke to him. And it’s not even a tough guy thing it’s a reaction to getting your space invaded or someone running up to you being aggressive. You were more than cool about it because they should have gotten that jaw tested and they know it. Have you don’t that to them I’m sure they wouldn’t have appreciated it.

The context of protecting the people you were interviewing is a great point. Since you stop them in their travels, then you feel responsible for them. That was a great point For the reasoning behind your response to those young men.
I grew up in the inner city. And I understand your position in that situation. But for those that don't have those experiences, they might see it as a different manner. It could have went all the way left and been a ugly situation. But I believe you handle yourself well

Even with all this we have one of the lowest gun crime rates. I don't think America's guns are the problem, I think pistol whipping gang culture (old and new) has made it too 'cool' to shoot people, along with many other contributing factors of course. They were more schoolboys who needed to show respect to their elders and it was lacking. Next time, yes, shut him down and stand up for yourself but then educate the youths and school them on the way he should have approached the situation, I think he would have apologised and listened to you. I understand them being disrespectful in terms of jumping into the video, correct for putting them in their place although putting your hands on man and pushing him could get you banged up over here regardless if you’re in the right or not. Clearly these boys just wanted to join the debate because they saw the young girl struggling but then it immediately got escalated into a needless physical altercation because of your reaction hence why they just walked off. Fighting you was likely not their intention otherwise you probably would have been dodging punches the second you pushed man out the frame 😂 so just as they should have respected your video and waited their turn or asked afterwards if they could participate, i feel like you should also respect the culture of the country you’re in and not use your upbringing from your homeland as an excuse to act a certain way, specifically putting your hands on people. That was a simple verbal correction required there as, we’re filming a video, wait your turn, let me finish debating with the girl first and we can debate afterwards.

Brah…. Next time , don’t be that close and you JUST now taking off your watch. You left yourself open to so many possible attack combinations from him and his partner it’s crazy.

As someone from the Uk. I think you need to see more of the country. This culture you talk about is nonexistent imo. The culture in south london is very different to north London. Much the same with the culture in Birmingham to Manchester. It just seems very American to speak like you have the whole of the Uk figured out because you’ve visited part of it.
