Pulled up to the Westside of San Jose, CA to chop game with Devien and learn a little bit about his life and music journey. Devien grew up on the Westside of San Jose with his lil brother in a single parent home. He explains how other family stepped up since his father wasn't around. His aunts and grandma was always there for him. His grandma was his go to and was the reason he became a Laker fan. They used to stay up watching the Lakers play when he was a kid. Now that Devien is a father himself he really understands how big the father role is when it comes to a kids life. Devien mentions how no matter what it is that he goes through in life, there's always going to be better days and grass greener on the otherside.
