I always appreciate it when someone takes the time to share a video of their motorcycling adventure that's the next best thing to being there. When I watch Sterling's videos, i get the impression that they're even better than being there. The effort made to set up the perfect shot and the drone footage to tell the story in video is phenomenal. It's comparable to a major motion picture. These videos are better than almost everything on television.
He’s done some things. Experience is forever.
He's just as good as the guys working for television but he chose the road less traveled... I appreciate this content that's not coming out of a corporate slave.
He is really good telling a story. It takes a lot of experience to achieve such a result.
My first video was 2 hours highway ride 😂😂😂 Now it is a little better but I am still not there 😀
@@MotoPavilion - I aspire to make better videos of my moto adventures and Sterling's videos inspire me as well as educate me, but I'll never make videos in this league. Not even close. Even if I invested the time, I don't have the artistic ability.

Back in the 70's we used to ride Rollins Pass from the East before the Needles Eye tunnel caved in and was closed, all the spectacular RR trestles were still intact and in use by all vehicles, a half century of Colorado winters have taken their toll...On such a clear night I would have slept under the stars, what a treat to be able to watch the Milky Way rotate in the sky from almost 12000 feet, not to mention all the satellites and shooting stars.
I wish I could have rode over, best I’ve done is rode up as far as I could and walked to the top to checkout the views. Would be such a great adventure ride.

Ive never mention how much I enjoy your attention to the sound in your productions. And I’m not talking about the music…..but rather the sound of your boots walking in the gravel, or the knife chopping through the vegetables etc…. Excellent attention to detail. Keep theses videos coming.

That’s awesome, one of the things I love most about ADV riding. Yup that spot looks good let’s camp, and the drone is such a great tool for shots that years ago could only dream about.
When I get home from a day of riding CO dirt/singletrack (most days), there’s nothing better than watching videos of people enjoying CO dirt and singletrack. Good video; inspires me for the next ride (to dirt around Mesa Verde, Black Canyon, and Great Sand Dunes NPs).

Magnificent scenery! That camping site was a bit "exposed" but the weather was good and the view was worth it. In a gust, it could be interesting to camp up there.

In the spirit of acknowledging the sheer effort in making one of these videos, just for fun, please watch along with us, and do a voiceover and take us through the steps of getting some of the shots. When I watch you come up the road through a puddle and ride past, I imagine you park the bike, walk around the puddle, walk back through the puddle after setting the tripod, and eventually return to collect the tripod, but I bet there's more to it.

Brilliant!!, I'm not the slightest bit interested in off road riding or adventure bikes but your stuff is just fantastic!! I'm totally addicted to it, the photography and the way everything is filmed, the soundtracks you match up and the countryside you ride is just equisite and I absolutely love it, I also like the easy going way you ride and explain everything. Nothing like camping alone. Sometimes makes it sketchy on tough routes, but worth it.

The western slope is amazing. Great to see all the open trails. Like endless possibilities. Winter Park is a big ski destination. Great little historic towns all around.

What a stunning camp site!
Sad to see the trestles detected that bad. In the 70s and 80s drove over them with my jeep. In 80 there was a benefit rally put on by 4×4 clubs for the heart association. I lived in Longmont CO and ran across Rollins Pass and those trestles were good then. I had hiked there many times also. It started to get trashed by all coming up from Boulder, cig butts, beer cans etc. The total front range got that way. Even Longs Peak at 14225 ft. People do dare. I have a CB 500x that I have done many modes to and I like as it lighter than my AT. Those roles with all rocks give you a good workout.

Technical question for you. You have a lot of drone shots that start out where the drone is not moving. Then as you ride into frame, the drone starts to move. How are you doing those shots? They’re beautiful and artistic.

Planning my first cross country trip from Pennsylvania to Colorado mountains. Will be camping at 6000 feet for two nights and then trying to go to 10,000 feet. Have you ever had any issues with elevation?

Camping is only Glamorous when others do. No good sleep, no toilet, no running water, either too hot or too cold. Love to watch it but will never do it again.
