[Synopsis]
In the twilight years of the Tang Dynasty, Zhu Wen forced Emperor Ai to abdicate to him and established the Later Liang Dynasty. He rescued a boy from the wild who fell off a cliff while being pursued for saving wolf pups, and took him under his wing. The boy was granted the name Zhu Youwen and titled Prince of Bo. A decade later, Zhu Youwen met and fell in love with Ma Zhaixing, the daughter of a governor.
Living with humans did not seem to have tamed Zhu Youwen's nature. Zhai Xing discovered his kind and righteous in spite of his status together, they became embroiled in a struggle for power. Ok. So I'm understanding it more now...the king thinks her dad was a traitor so had him killed but yet had bo wang to used her to gain access to the troops all at same time when he knew the truth? Yes that is despicable. Unfair advantage at all levels. Thing was he'd kept the truth from her had it not been found out by her friend who told her. That's no misunderstanding whoever say this. He could've been honest from start but he wouldn't because he knows she'd hate him and not love him way she did because no question in my mind, he knew of this at least the very next day and then, he was only bo wang to her so no doubt she would've tried to kill him. Thing with him allowing her to win in battles in my mind, charity which useless because it won't stop her from loving him(which could've been avoided had she knew from start), won't bring her dad back and as for night fury I'm assuming he wasn't even killed by either her and bo wang
