My name is Alexander. I’m the co-owner of a ONE Michelin star restaurant, and I’m on a mission - to find inspiration in gastronomy. I love fine dining, good wine and sharing what I know with other people.
----------------------------------------------------------------
Florence is the birthplace of the great renaissance. A city of history, culture and romance. And home to our restaurant for today Enoteca Pinchiorri.
We also did a tour of the famous wine cellar. There are more than 100.000 bottles here with an estimated value of 100.000.000 €.

Mark my words, you wil go far on TH-cam. Excellent videography and stunning visuals. Truly a channel that will go far.
What happened to Chef's Table at Brooklyn Fare? :p
Can't wait for the masa episode!
How about De Librije in the Netherlands?
Subscribed. You'll go far in youtube but you already know it. You didn't improvise, you made a "business plan" and it shows. A tip, you'll have to go to Villa Crespi eventually.
This channel is becoming addictive.
It's very high quality. The only thing that would make it better is if the videos were longer.
Very much so
It really is
@@yonatanben-chaim9747no they shouldn't be longer, if u understand how youtube works, avp and and are most important. These videos are perfect length for what they are
My wife and I had the chance to dine there in 2008. We were 29 years old. Everything was amazing. We toured the wine cellar, sat in the same dining room. We had a 14 course menu with a Super Tuscan flight wine pairing. I even remember that water menu which was incredible. We were there over 4 hours.
At the end of the meal, Annie Féolde stopped by our table to chat. Knowing we were from California, and loved Napa Valley, she told us a story about going to Napa, bringing wine and food with her and eating with Robert Mondavi in his dining room. What a story!
We left with a bottle of wine signed by her and Giorgio, a box of fine chocolates and a book about three star Michelin restaurants.
We spent about $2000 USD on the dinner and we have a story to last a lifetime.
I hope to dine there again on our next trip to Italy. We booked our table either 3 or 6 months in advance.
amazing
Great value !
Definitely a story worth telling to future generations. Amazing!
I would love it if these become more in-depth, talking about the different cooking techniques and what you would possibly do differently or why the flavors match so well.
Love all the videos so far, very underrated channel!
Food and flavors can be matched or exceeded by other restaurants, but the history, background, service, and setting are more unique qualities
as a person who spends a lot of time and energy to travel around the world visiting famous restaurants and drinking special wines I must say. At the end of every video I have tears on my eyes
This is a great choice for a video and spot on. On honeymoon, I went to Enoteca Pinchiori in 1987, and it was wonderful, and as described here. We had a fantastic medieval (or Renaissance?) tasting menu. I remember an extraordinary consomme with a poached egg as one on the best dishes I have ever had. So simple but exquisite. Funnily, it was the first time I encountered a motion detecting faucet. The maitre d' was so charming when he saw me come out of the restroom with a puzzled look on my face.
I’ve just binged all of your videos and subscribed. Thank you for taking us with you to restaurants I can only dream about. Your objectivity and professionalism is very refreshing. Your love of food shines through.
Your channel is DYNAMITE. My taste buds live vicariously though you. THANK YOU and keep up the great work!
This channel has quickly become one of my favourites. Thank you Alexander.
Simply please don’t stop doing this Alexander, such a great insight and presented so elegantly… My thanks to you and your team
Florence has to be one of my favourite cities in the world. The production quality of this videos is so good too.
Small details like the number of bottles of wine stacking up to over the height of mount Etna ten times just make this video even better.
Best new channel I’ve discovered in the last 12 months. Delightful content time after time.
One of my all time favourite restaurants, I haven’t been in almost 10 years! I’m very happy to see they’re still keeping excellent quality.
This place did a killer job presenting.. wow. the plates they used made each course look even better. well done
You are the reason I come back on TH-cam! Keep the quality videos coming my man. 👌
love how he is honest with his reviews. Great show
Your content is simply excellent, I can't believe this channel hasn't blown up yet.
it’s great to see non-chef owners with this kind of passion. Your restaurant will probably grow better and better with this rich experience
Amazing channel, so far all the videos offer really good, constructive and credible reviews (well this one is impeccable and... will put Florence my future trips!)
Amazing channel. I like everything about it. The video quality, the insights and the host. Thanks for producing these videos :)
An amazing series, been loving watching it
This channel has been really entertaining and interesting! Happy to have found it.
The great feeling when the man himself Alexander is wearing a sport jacket in a fabric you also own. Amazing video as always!
Love your high quality vids, think I really found a gem here ^^
This channel is bloody fantastic - great stuff Alexander
Loving the channel.
i was 1st
This restaurant is out of this world in a beautiful, classic way.
I love your videos! cant wait for more
This channel is perfect after a long day for relaxation
Alexander is getting better the more exited he is LOL. Great review getting addicted LOL, one day, one day i am going to visit this place. Thanks for the briljant review, entertaining & appreciated. Subscribed.
Wowwwwwww amazing I can’t stop watching these videos ❤️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Most interesting series on youtube this year!
Correction: The first vintage of Sassicaia was 1968, not 1872. Sorry for the mistake. 🙏
OMG, you need to be imprisoned immediately.
This content is amazing sir! Keep it coming brother!
the animations at sec 43 are really beautiful! props to the motion grahpicer!
I doubt I'd like much of the food and I don't drink but I can't help but watch your videos as all these places look incredible.
I’m so poor but I love watching this videos it’s motivating me to get rich and try this life thank you for your videos
Wow what a boss, great way to celebrate i am sure everyone will remember it forever!
Outstanding!! I love that they have a specialty water program. The best chef I worked for ended up opening a restaurant in Baja California (Aqua by Larbhi) where they have a list with over 100 selections of water (one offering is sourced from deep underground aquifers, fed by glaciers that had been previously frozen for millennia - one symptom of global warming). Another is at near full saturation with oxygen - giving the drinker an odd inebriation.
Wow, that really looks amazing. I'd love to go there.
I was waiting for you to do this restaurant, it was the first 3 star restaurant that I had visited and to me still the best. In 2005 they offered a pairing that was €10,000; unfortunately, my wife would allow me to order it 😢.
We have a car that is less expensive :)
One of the best food Chanels on youtube
I really like this channel. keep it up man.
Another great video! Keep it up.
Hey Alexander, I rarely comment on anything!
But I must say you became a real inspiration.
Amazing content. Even for a person who is in the begining of their jorney towards food and wine.
Keep it up!
1m subs let’s go! In love with channel.
you will come out big, keep up the good work sir
Gratulálok ezen látszott, hogy nagyon jól érezted magad itt:)
Another great video Alex, I wonder if in the future you’ll consider the trip to Oceania and have a proper review of our “Hat” system awarded restaurants
4:47, that entire book was just wines? That is amazing.
The wine selection looked more like a directory, that's amazing.
Alexander i love you're content!
Im always waiting for the next episode chef! Keep the amazing work, from a portuguese man in Moçambique!
Easily your best episode yet.
Great episode once again.
So nice of you to take there your whole team 👍👍
Wish we could have had a drink when you were in NYC. It will be interesting to see what you think of the standard 3 stars here. Brooklyn Fare would be worth the revisit.
I would love to see that handwritten winelist you got from the sommelier!
Great video and editing!
Your videos have better production than most cable documentaries
luxury in Italy never disappoints
The service it self was amazing i was sitted at the garden with was very lovable when i was there i tried the evolution menu which was diffrent then the 1 presented in the video
There was also a vegeterian menu and a la carter option with some red wine tea that come in great presentation the ambience was beyond amazing the wine book is litterly so insane i easily got lost in it
Great work! What a joy to watch. Really curious what the wines on the list are !
Your videos are exceptional
This channel is the best discovery I have ever made on TH-cam
Thank you!
Beautiful!
Abselutely banger video
Looks great.
love your content
I remembered this was the Restaurant where Iron Chef Japan Masahiko Kobe used to be
This channel should have been called "Alexander The Great!" 🤯💯
Just booked a table for this restaurant, after watching the video, for in a couple of weeks time 😊
That lemon tart looks great
I love it ❤
Thank you
great content.
Huge fan..
Me: "I would like some wine."
Waiter: "Sure!" **Brings an entire ENCYCLOPEDIA**
amazing
Great video! Are you planning to do a video on a restaurant in Belgium? Would love to get your opinion on "Hof van Cleve" ( 3 michelin stars)
Another excellent video! Do you have any plans in the near future to dining in any restaurants in the US? I would love to see your thoughts at Singlethread in Healdsburg CA. I am hoping on traveling there for my upcoming 30th birthday.
Awesome Video
Okay this is it, the holy grail of restaurants, the water menu sealed the deal for me
Enjoyed this vid very much. I have not been to this restaurant. I would love to see your take on one of my favorite restaurants in the world, ‘Facil’ (in of all cities, Berlin). No, I am not a Berlin homer. Facil was a one-star Michelin restaurant when I first dined there and then it obtained its second star-which it retains-before my next visit.
Outstanding! I’m going to Sardinia in a few weeks any recommendations? Recently did some Michelean restaurants in Lake Garda !
great video! this is one of those michelin restaurant where i can understand the reason it is at the top. I can't say the same for many (most?) of the others, especially when you start moving out from france and italy... (someone said juice pairings? )
Here I am eating noodles with veggies watching this and pretending that I am there. 😢Take me with you! Please ❤
Petrus by the glass?
Holy.
On the bucket list this one goes.
Great video - keep them coming! Just one thing: the first vintage of Sassicaia was 1968 - 1872 Sassicaia doesn’t exist.
thanks for the information. we write the correction to the top comment.
Man, I love you.
In Belgium we have 3 three-star restaurants Hof Van Cleve, 't Zilte and Boury. Hope to visit these when you are in belgium sometime. I look, forward to your objective opinion.
You should go to Bern's restaurant in Tampa,fl.
Largest active wine cellar in the world.
I need to know where to get this shirt! It's amazing :D
Whenever I wanna eat normal ass food I can watch these vids and pretend I’m eating some next level boujee comida
I and my wife went there two nights in a row because it was that good...food, service...and get this, we don't drink 😂 I am sure they never thought this would happen but the second night they sent our way all desserts as a compliment. At that time, there were 6 in total so we had a good laugh and a very delicious ending 🤣 But yes, it is 100% amazing...the wine list was the size of encyclopedia Britannica (the paper form) 😂
customer- I'd like to see your wine menu please
Enoteca Pinchiorri- *hands you an encyclopedia*
customer- 🤯
I sometimes ask myself why so little Fine Dining Restaurants offer a tea pairing that clears your tongue from the flavours of the last dish and prepare it for the next.
I would realy love to see that because it would be a nice experience to be able to fully taste every dish on its own.
Indeed. I've been in China quite a few times and they take their tea seriously (the Indians even more). And you can get some amazing teas. I was very impressed with a tea that was a standard green tea but so fragrant it tasted like jasmine tea, except it wasn't. It was just very fragrant. Also quite expensive, at 10 euro per cup. Worth it though :)
Im from a middle class, and dreaming someday i can dine in this type of restaurant.
How did I miss this Episode, I have been Binge watching?! As for the food looked delicious, but I would request something other than Snails... The Wine cellar, I am actually not much into wine unless I am cooking with it, but I could get lost in that Wine Cellar, Hahahahahahahaha 😂!!!
I never liked white wine until I drank wine this year at a one-star restaurant and it was fantastic. Now we've bought the wines they were nice enough to mail us. Even without the food pairing those wines can make an addict out of anyone :)
