One of the many reasons we admire and respect our Pastor because no matter what the subject, he will speak truth. Calvary Spokane could easily have become a Mega-church if Ken Ortize was content to avoid certain topics like politics for instance. A true pastor is the shepherd of the flock, and he is responsible to protect them and if he is afraid to speak truth then he is not a true shepherd, and we could not think of him as a pastor. This is why we drive almost an hour, in one direction, on Sunday mornings. Where else could we go? Everywhere we look the church is turning the wine back into water. I Tim 4:3
