The footage from people play testing multiversus is scaring me. The game looks way slower than the original beta, and the camera being zoomed in also makes the game look really bad(in my opinion), I really hope the game will play better then it looks.
I agree with you, I thought they would give us new moves with the cooldowns... but if they wanted to make Morty more Bruiser they could have done a little rework... anyway play Morty first and then give as much feedback as possible. C:
Also some of the new mechanics like Slide dodges and Instant dodge Aerials (doing air attacks on the ground), arent even gonna be that good on him since he has moves like up attack, and plumbus LMAO, whats the point of a sliding plumbus?

they butchered my boy. grenade doesn’t target the opponent when shot anymore and his Dair Uair combo is slaughtered. he still has no killing power and is more horizontal than beta Morty. it rly made me sad cause he would’ve been my 1st or 2nd main but he’s not viable whatsoever in 1v1. he’ll prolly play the same as pre launch in 2v2 or even weaker tbh. rly sucks man
Hope it doesn't end up like this at launch People love Morty because of the freedom and high skill ceiling of his kit, and I feel like removing that is not the right way to nerf him at all They should just focus on nerfing the values themselves instead of the cool setups that make the character unique
There’s a new mind game introduced with the parry mechanic. Morty will be one of the best at playing that game once the meta evolves. That’s probably why the nades were nerfed. Also larger character models with same size grenades means more coverage by default
this sucks man i used morty in tournaments all the time, i was gonna use him in rise of multiversus too but ig not. idk who to use now. might not even play at all cause of this

the only thing broken about morty in the betawas the hit box on his sair and the damage on his grenades everything else including grenade blasts and grenade shrapnel was dodgeable and you can probably parry it now and punish so i really don’t get it but ok
Almost everything that made him a fun character got erased. It’s not even just a matter of nerfing him into the ground. Now he’s just a shallow character with little to no skill expression or creativity
I can't play DPS Doom, now I can't play beta Morty anymore. I'm sick of devs not understanding what makes their own game fun to play. Instead, they water everything down, making it one dimensional and boring. Edit: Get saved through Jesus Christ God bless
He’s horrible. It’s been days but every character has really good free kills and I have to work so hard to kill anyone as morty. Like I love him but still just so much effort to kill. I used to main Steven in the old game but now he’s bum easy and destroys people instantly like it’s insane

As a full on morty main with hundreds of hours, the morty grenades needs to be back, they were the whole reason it was a fun player
