One of the reason why power start to drop in high rpm is because lack of air. need bigger cam, better intake. Even the head on the k24 is not that good. Thats why a lot of people do k24 block with k20 type r head because k20 head are better for high air flow intake.

I know if want use CL9R gearbox need replace the housing like FD2R 6 speed gearbox housing, cause accord gearbox mounting is no same with civic .
