I'm guessing it's just their skill and the fact that they have tons of experience harmonizing together. Something that just can't be replicated by a bunch of talented singers coming together, no matter how amazingly skilled they are.
well in the song bohemian rhapsody it was just freddie who harmonized the intro by stacking his own vocals but if you refer to the rest of the harmonies then yeah sure. Queen is something else when harmonizing together

BTW - I have been following Kurt's, Max's and Sam's Career for over a year and I den tally that the level of musicianship and ability is off the charts. I have 2 1/2 Music degrees and taught music for over 21 years and studied voice for over 15. Their music is a must have in your collection. They are creative, have amazing technical abilities and knowledge on how to put music together, arrange and produce. I am always blown away but how they perform and communicate a song. A cover is supposed to be different from the original song. It's astounding how many people don't seem to understand that. What is the point of a cover if it's identical to Freddie Mercury's original song. Just listen to that instead. Johann Gaga Glee is an expensively produced on-tv song... with a large budget and the "magic" of fake tv. This was impressive as it is a low funded youtube project. Don't be an ass. This was extremely good. The two lead guitarists were very good... those riffs by Brian May are not easy.... and to get the "sound" of Queen was very good. My only quirk was... why the girls.

My only complaint was the blonde gal's voice. The tone was just WAY too airy for me and i think it kinda ruined that bit of the tune. Otherwise, everything else was a very well done tribute!
