Just a heads up, if you want the chance to ask Mr. Allison a question put it in the comments section of my most recent video. We will pick a few to ask him them during the interview.
Good Seasons: Dale Earnhardt Jr (2014) Bad Seasons: Clint Bowyer (2016) Championship Seasons: Alan Kulwicki (1992) NASCAR Busts: Chad Little Gone Too Soon: Davey Allison
Stats-wise 2016 was actually better than 2017. Other than the win in ‘17, he 3 top 5’s in both years but only had 6 top 10’s in 2017, while he had at least 10 in 2016.
I have met him and his brother Donnie multiple times, he is very nice and will gladly sign anything you want autographed. Fun fact he actually had 85 wins one was at bowman gray in 1971 but they did not credit anyone with the win because NASCAR is stupid.
Tomorrow will be unbelievable! I can't wait to hear what he has to say and I think this will make the popularity of the podcast through the roof. Bright future ahead for all of your channels!
Hey Rusty Wallace 1989 championship would make a cool video he really had a fantastic story that season. He always told mr hendrick that he had half a championship in him because Rick stepped in and helped out in funding his team when money started going away.
This is great, going back in time before I believe 60-90 percent of the audience including myself were alive that is seeing history for the first time mostly and reflect on one of the best eras of nascar. Great video!
If he could have ONLY gotten along better with Junior Johnson and stayed with them after ‘72, he’d have had at least another Championship, if not two more…Cale Yarborough took BA’s place and won three straight championships in the mid-70s.
Four interesting things here: 1. Bobby wins his championship with *DiGard,* the team D.W. left 🏆 2. Dale Earnhardt behind the wheel of a *Ford* 😨 Albeit Bud Moore's iconic #15 Ford 👓 3. DiGard switched from Chevrolet to Buick during the season 4. _Stroker Ace_ came out this same year and, just like Bobby, Stroker had a little trouble staying with teams #fastestchickenintheSouth
Can you do bad seasons Jeff Gordon 2005. He had 4 wins including both Martinsville races but he had a lot of DNFs and missed the chase for the cup. This was after a season after he finished 3rd in points.
He was so dominant at such an "advanced" age. It's surreal to watch those races where he and Cale are going toe to toe in the early 80s and Petty's kind of washed, and realize they're all the same age...and then fast forward to '88 and Bobby's still winning at Daytona.
My Top 5 NASCAR Drivers of all time: 1. Dale Earnhardt 2. Richard Petty 3. David Pearson 4. Jeff Gordon 5. Bobby Allison Strange to see Dale behind the wheel of a *Ford* 😨 Albeit Bud Moore's iconic #15 Ford 🤓
@@NeoGraena Yeah, his team was sold midway through 1981 to J.D. Stacy (less said, the better) and Dale finished that year with Richard Childress. Richard didn't have really a team yet so he told Dale to take the open ride with Bud
In 1981 and 1982, Darrell Waltrip had TWELVE wins both of those years, another thing that kept Bobby Allison from the championship both of those years.
Would've had 3 if Darrell Waltrip didn't snooker the title from Allison in '81 and '82. He had a HUGE lead in the points and BOTH times, Waltrip tore down the lead and snagged the title. TWICE.
Championship seasons: Jimmie Johnson 2013 Kurt Busch 2004 Jeff Gordon 1995 Bobby Labonte 2000 Brad Keslowski 2012 Brian Vickers 2003 Just seasons that you don’t hear too much about that might be good for this series
If it hadn't been for his 1983 season, Bobby Allison would have been remembered as by far the most successful driver to never win the title. Going up against the likes of Richard Petty, Deryll Waltrip and Dale Earnhardt, he would have made Mark Martin and Junior Johnson seem like amateurs by comparison. Then his 1983 title, long overdue, changed everything
Bobby Allison one of the 10 best drivers in NASCAR history
Reverend Rasheem Stewart Bobby Allison was the best ever. As told by Jr. Johnson....and my dad.
It's gonna be a hell of a stream tommorow. This podcast is going places.

Same lol, I forgot all about him.

The Iceberg wow man way to plug 😂😂😂 go sub to onlynascar 😂
Haha I can just go to my golf course and ask him myself

That trippy, psychedelic version of "Dixie" in the background is giving me acid flashbacks!

I believe Bobby claims he has *86*
@@dnasty312 yeah there was 2 controversies about 2 wins he didn’t get credited for but the 1971 bowman gray race was the most memorable of the 2
One of my all time favourite drivers, so glad to see this video made

Nascar busts: Reed Sorenson
Championship seasons: Dale Earnhardt Jr 1998 & 1999 (Busch Series)
Bad seasons: Kyle Busch 2012
2014 was worse for Kyle
If Bobby Allison stayed with just one team I can't imagine how many wins and championships he'd have.
I'll argue he's the basis for _Stroker Ace._ Coincidence that Bobby wins his only championship the year that came out?
If he could have ONLY gotten along better with Junior Johnson and stayed with them after ‘72, he’d have had at least another Championship, if not two more…Cale Yarborough took BA’s place and won three straight championships in the mid-70s.
This is a really cool video. Good job man I think Mr Allison would really love to see this video.

I will make darn sure that I make it to tomorrow’s stream.

Allison had a great season in 1988 up until Pocono...
PlateRacer38 Based on what? He was in his 50s when he had the accident at Pocono.
Collin McNaught I'm just saying had he not wrecked at Pocono he might've ran until maybe 2002 at most.
PlateRacer38 Exactly! Maybe another daytona 500
Love the "NFL Primetime" music in the background 👍
Just in time for the stream/podcast

Well.... He had an issue with car owners in the 80's soo.... Ye it is weird but its ok

*seeing the notification* "Oh, he's probably only doing this because of the streak with Allison."
*looks at comments* ...

How good to hear the voices of Steve Evans and Brock Yates on this video. RIP gents.
One of my favorites but his son Davey was something special
I love that narration
Your channel is great
Happy birthday
Good Seasons: Mark Martin (1998)
Bad Seasons: Dale Jarrett (2003)
Championship Seasons: Rusty Wallace (1989)
Oh no rusty Wallace’s Cup Title in 89 would make for a cool video that and Bill Elliott’s 88 Title
In 1981 and 1982, Darrell Waltrip had TWELVE wins both of those years, another thing that kept Bobby Allison from the championship both of those years.
VERY good
Hey Black Flags Matter, please do Bad Seasons 2007 David Stremme!
MAAAAAN HE WAS OLD WHEN HE GOT HIS FRIST
Good seasons Kevin Harvick 2011 and Kevin Harvick Championship season 2014
Maybe ask about his 1979 Daytona fight involvement?
Great Video!
I got ASMR vibes from that narrator.
Bobby Allison had 84 wins but only one championship!
Would've had 3 if Darrell Waltrip didn't snooker the title from Allison in '81 and '82. He had a HUGE lead in the points and BOTH times, Waltrip tore down the lead and snagged the title. TWICE.

Optimistic Nut Brian Vickers wasn't the champion of Xfinity series in 2013. Vickers won in 2003.

Please tell me there is a recording of that stream that i could perhaps be provided a link to. Please.
Bobby Allison was a bit of a Mark Martin in the late 60's and 70's.... until his Daytona 500 victory
Good Seasons: Kevin Harvick 2017
Bad Seasons: Jeff Gordon 2008
Championship Seasons: JJ 2016
Nascar Busts: Morgan Shepard
Tyler Cole Morgan shepherd wasn’t necessarily a bust he won 4 cup and 15 xfinity races
NASCAR Busts: Juan Pablo Montoya?
The previous two seasons, 81 and 82, should have made a video about them (about Darrell Waltrip Championships)
I understand that when BA told JJ he was leaving after ‘72, JJ simply didn’t enter a car in the last race, denying BA the championship for that year…
Other than my Dad, Bobby Allison is my hero
His 1972 season was even better but finished second in points that year
Bad Seasons: Kyle Petty 2001-2003
If it hadn't been for his 1983 season, Bobby Allison would have been remembered as by far the most successful driver to never win the title. Going up against the likes of Richard Petty, Deryll Waltrip and Dale Earnhardt, he would have made Mark Martin and Junior Johnson seem like amateurs by comparison. hard to win when dw & junior johnson are just killing everybody
Can you do a video on Davey Allison?
championship seasons Jimmie Johnson 2006

Is the the Dixie horn I hear in the background. Lol.
Yup. Throughout the entire video. And frankly it's freaking me out.
Is this just to hype the stream tonight?
NASCAR Busts: Elmo Langley
Bad Season 2003 Dale Jarrett
wow. how do you get 73 wins and no championship? by '94, Earnhardt had 63 and 7 championships
existing in a time of petty, pearson, yarborough and before his prime earnhardt
Bobby had 79 victories before his first championship
Won the 83 Championship driving basically a coffin on wheels...
Always did like Bobby i Allison
I still think a championship seasons Jeff Gordon 2001 or Tony Stewart 2002 would be cool.
EIGHTY FIVE WINS, not 84! Forget what NASCAR claims. In reality, he actually won 86!
How old will you be tomorrow??
21
Black Flags Matter happy early birthday 🎉 Black Flags Matter
Black Flags Matter happy birthday!
Jeff Gordon 1997 or 1998
Remember act "professional" 😂😂
