A hardcore Prince fan lined up overnight, for a ride to and from, he would get me a ticket. I got my ticket, was in the audience, I was happy as a purple clam. Show ends, it's a party, people are hyped, I go the opposite way, make my way from the far other side of the seats, top area, had a direct front view, down the stairs near the stage, end up backstage, hang out in the hallway that leads to other stages and the guest rooms, Prince strolls out in this outfit, sunglasses, a cane and one of the coolest swagger struts ever, right in front of me. I remember it to this day, VIVIDLY, he noticed me, kept on swaggering out to a limo, baddass Prince. Baddass. 4_ever.
@@jazshas when he stroll down the hallway passing in front of me, well rather strutting with that prince swagger, I vividly remember it, and I don’t remember him using the cane as a way to support himself. In fact, I don’t remember it necessarily touching the ground that much it looks like he was holding onto it and then shifted to kind of just using it as a vanity cane. However, he had turned vegetarian around 1995 and I think he didn’t a dramatic fashion and with the stress around that time with his record label fight, he lost a lot of weight and I think it affected his muscle, skeletal and joints to some degree but this is just my theory From observation. I saw him in person back then few years prior to this a lot of times in different outfits in different events and areas of the club outside of the public view. And it also marked the time where he stopped doing the splits and dancing more elaborately. he has started to develop issues possibly. If one were to do research there is evidence of linking osteoporosis to going vegan or vegetarian. There are studies in regards to that. It looks like he did have issues later on. In a 2005 performance in the UK where he hits the stage with former band members from the 80s there was back. There is backstage footage of him walking in around the venue and the camera follows him, and you could clearly see that his walk must much more and looks like he had trouble walking.
