今日茶席，第259席【芒種枝綠】
芒種時節，不再如春季般滿樹繁花，故此古時芒種有祭祀花神的習俗。《紅樓夢》第二十七回中寫道：“尚古風俗：凡交芒種節的這日，都要設擺各色禮物，祭餞花神，言芒種一過，便是夏日了，眾花皆卸，花神退位，須要餞行。”芒種過後，夏漸深，滿目蒼翠，故芒種之色當為枝綠色。

🍵今日の茶席　第259回【芒種の緑の枝】🍵
芒種の節気は、春ほど木々に花が満ちていないので、古い時代では芒種には花の神を祀る習俗がありました。
「紅樓夢」の第二十七回にこのような記述があります。
「尚古風俗：凡交芒種節的這日，都要設擺各色禮物，祭餞花神，言芒種一過，便是夏日了，眾花皆卸，花神退位，須要餞行」
芒種が過ぎた後は、夏がどんどん深まり、目の前は緑色で満たされます。だから芒種の色といえば緑の枝の色に違いないですね。

The trees are not as full of flowers during the 芒種/Mangzhong term of the 24 solar terms as they were during spring, so in ancient times there was a custom of worshiping the flower god during Mangzhong.
The 27th chapter of 紅楼夢/Dream of the Red Chamber has the following passage:“尚古風俗：凡交芒種節的這日，都要設擺各色禮物，祭餞花神，言芒種一過，便是夏日了，眾花皆卸，花神退位，須要餞行.”
After Mangzhong passes, summer deepens and the world is filled with green. So the color of Mangzhong must be the color of green branches.
