Keep up what you're doing. I enjoy the videos. I just got into a Silverton 31 Express. Part of our confidence to do that was watching you and Boogaboo.

Hey thanks for that huge compliment. Good luck with the Silverton! Where do you boat?

Hello Jeff and Mary, please continue what you are doing for now it is still quite enjoyable. Once you get the issue sorted with your battery and windless, I have learnt from sailboaters a best practice is to always run the boat engine when operating a windless, due to their amp drainage. LadyD

Thanks for the encouragement and advice. We normally run the engines when operating the anchor as Mary takes the helm and moves us in position. In that video the engines aren’t running because I’m just trying to see if it works again. But in any case, the problem was the breaker for the windlass tripped and I didn’t even know we had a breaker for it. It’s in the next video coming out.

We were losing voltage on the house battery and combined the batteries and it helped. Noticed a lot of loopers on your journey.

Yes saw the loopers as well but failed to mention it. My next video will explain what the problem was and it’s a bit embarrassing.

You take the wins when they come since they don’t come as often as you like!

I Love the videos and love the cruising in extended videos, also like the how to videos that you do when doing maintenance on your boat. I am currently working on my Sea Ray 300 Weekender, doing a lot of upgrades, preparing in for the water next spring. Keep up the great job you are doing!!

It doesn't appear you follow Boogaboo, all SeaRay repairs/maintenance and tons of cruising videos.

I'm a new-er subscriber and have been enjoying your vids. I'm one step behind you as we just bought a Sea Ray 220 Sundeck but hope to get into a cruiser in the next 5 years (we boat in Green Bay mostly). I think your content is great. I personally like videos 10 min or so (short attention span). Cheers!

Great wrap up! Looking forward to what you find on the windlass. Did you check the breaker for it? I have a stand-alone in-line breaker for my windlass. Just a thought. Love the extended footage! And great job docking in the breeze!

Need a bank of batteries running thru switches so can use whatever batteries are good. My trick is to run my engine to save my battery

Great video once again. Keep doing what you do.
I had a similar issue with my windlass while anchored out in the Chester River. Windlass didn’t work at all. Nothing. Ended up that the windlass breaker tripped. Discovered this the next day after we manually pulled the anchor up. I wonder if the crab trap on yours caused the breaker to trip???
