Thanks for the update and the transparency. However when it's family that is in need, no apologies should be required. Your fans are going no where and will patiently wait to enjoy your content when it comes.
Tackling a complete teardown restoration definitely gives one a sense of how much WORK it takes. But, it is definitely a labor of love, and it gives much pride when you get to use your equipment, that you essentially built up yourself. This is NOT an endeavor to take if you expect to save money!! Thanks for the update.
You'll surely have a mint condition 1840, good work so far! I could only dream of doing a complete resto of my 1845c like yours. If possible get all the hydraulic hoses wrapped, it'll save you grief in the future from rubbing, especially the hoses that run to the foot petal along the belly pan; I can tell you from experience that its a pain in the ass to do if it pops while using attachments. (I'm still occasionally changing original hoses from 1991 lol, pretty sure there's not many left.)
Take your time. We’ll be here. Wishing you all the best!

Slow progress is still progress keep going Mike 👍
Doing it right takes time. Sometimes we all need time away from projects. You are doing great work😊
Just bought mine in November this year, your channel has helped immensely. Take your time bud.

As stated by others, Family First. I'm very patient.
Only if the TH-cam algorithm was too but that’s not really why I’m doing this anyway. It just helps motivate me when I see people are watching.
