Great video. Loved the cross ram intake, but the dual throttle bodies and separate intake runners make it run like two separate engines. Which is why it gave you such a headache.
The wealth of knowledge you share in every video is amazing. I am not there yet tuning my first project, '39 Ford, but I know who's videos I'm going to consult.
I don't blame You wanting to buy it from Him Joe, that thing is SWEET.. Thanks For the Vid. And the Tune the Trilogy course has been helping Me understand EFI better than ever! Thanks for everything man.
Outstanding video, as usual!! Was wondering why you tuned with the smaller 16x16 tables for fuel/spark? Do you find it simpler overall then having the higher resolution for tuning all the transient drivability? Thanks for all the knowledge you share in your vids, it's very useful.
Beautiful truck! Man I know it isn't possible, but find myself chasing zero SO much!! It just drives me furious to open some of these files to find CL making 20 or more corrections. Smh...
The AC issue could be too much Freon in the system, maybe? Does DBW work faster than DBC, I have DBW and it seems to not have any issues with AC (I use the AC kick function). My truck has a L96 with a small truck cam.
Idling poor at 14.5:1 tells me he likely has some inbalance in the injectors at low pulsewidths. Some are much leaner than the avg. Since he's a Holley guy, he's probably using their chinese-made clone injectors - they aren't exactly fantastic.
Keep it coming dude, love what you do!......👍
Im not a fan of old trucks, but this truck is just badass. Well done to the owner.

You should get his Tunethetrilogy course. Everything tune related you can think of is covered in the course.

What number was you getting when the park position was too much? And what was your perfect number?
You really screwed up Joe! Should have never fixed that leak and the owner would have been forced to sell the truck to you.
I actually said that but cut it out of the video haha
What were the specs on the engine if you don’t mind me asking?
He didn’t use Holley’s Dyno?
Holley v6 new software update is the most laggy thing in earth
I have zero issues with it lagging
@@JoeSimpsonAtTempest what's your online update frequency ?

Oem gm injectors but i agree something was up either bank to bank, cylinder to cylinder, or just the way the o2 was reading.
