Honestly!!! I feel like languages and humanities are impossible to plan like this because there are no set "topics" with set content to learn so for them its just a case of covering as much as you physically can and hope it comes up haha!

Prelims are mock exams in Scotland that can take place before the Christmas holiday during November/ December time or after during January/February because prelims take place during this time not all the course is covered so the prelim questions are only one 1/2 or 3/4 of the course, however these prelims are taken seriously with examiners in the hall during the prelim , but they are marked by our teachers as apposed to a qualification authority like for our actual exams that take place April/May time
I would love a video comparing school for British and American teenagers. I hear you talking about GCSEs and A stars all the time, and I would love to know more about them! In America, we have AP, dual credit, and honors classes for advanced students.
GCSEs are standard nation-wide tests for EVERY teen (15-16 in May to June) and some re sitters. A levels (16-18 year olds) is generally 3- 4 subjects at a more advanced level after GCSEs: it's done for 2 years. There are alternative routes like apprenticeships and vocational courses but A levels are chosen generally for getting into university. A video would probably be much better detailed.

Not sure what prelims are in other countries, but in Singapore, prelims are just exams that you take before your O level (GSCE), A level or IB. Also, fun fact: if your exam papers for your O level or A level are lost, they will use your prelim results to determine what your actual result will be.

How do u get yourself to stick to revision timetables? I can do a day of being good but then next day I'll do nothing and continue doing nothing all holiday 😂
Ruth Samworth well same with me but I’ve been told you cannot have the same revision timetable each week and listen to music without lyrics also revise for 25mins and have a 5 min break, after the 4 time doing 25 mins take a 15 mins break.
Plan your days with other things too! Don’t just say you’re going to do chemistry on a Thursday also plan a few hours with your friends. That way your timetable isn’t just boring revision it’s also got social events so you don’t have any days where you’re only revising if that makes sense
Woww i mean my holidays end tomorrow and even though I had planned everything I needed to get done I still have the half of those things to do 😟😓...i have really important exams and so much work that I think I won't be able to finish!! Not sure what prelims are in other countries, but in Singapore, prelims are just exams that you take before your O level (GSCE), A level or IB. Also, fun fact: if your exam papers for your O level or A level are lost, they will use your prelim results to determine what your actual result will be.

How do u get yourself to stick to revision timetables? I can do a day of being good but then next day I'll do nothing and continue doing nothing all holiday 😂
Ruth Samworth well same with me but I’ve been told you cannot have the same revision timetable each week and listen to music without lyrics also revise for 25mins and have a 5 min break, after the 4 time doing 25 mins take a 15 mins break.
Do a revision timetable everyday for the next day. I'm like you and this works for me.

Plan your days with other things too! Don’t just say you’re going to do chemistry on a Thursday also plan a few hours with your friends. That way your timetable isn’t just boring revision it’s also got social events so you don’t have any days where you’re only revising if that makes sense
For example I have a morning of revision planned then an afternoon of coffee with my friends and then I’ll revise history when I get back
I’m about 5 years late but I have my GCSES in a month and a half and am so nervous but this video really helped Thanks Jade 😅
Woww i mean my holidays end tomorrow and even though I had planned everything I needed to get done I still have the half of those things to do 😟😓...i have really important exams and so much work that I think I won't be able to finish!! My problem is that I'm sooo slow to learn stuff..Arghhhhhhh

Wow, it’s crazy how we plan pretty much the same! I do the same subjects (+ physics) so I definitely get where you’re coming from. Only in Y12 though so I think I’ve got it a little easier 😂 Wish me luck anyway!
