  • This is a highly debated topic in the church right now - Are Christians supposed to follow the Torah out of obedience?
I think you'll find this teaching to be more than the simple black/white argument you've seen to date.

I find the comments amusing because people are commenting before watching the entirety of the video. Please watch the whole video before commenting. Peoples comments make assumptions which lead people to believe something that this video is not about.

On Point Preparedness - Hi Mike. Great video, I got a lot from this. I just wanted to comment...Whether people agree or disagree, this video should challenge people to actually pick up their Bible and read it. So many people have opinions, but opinions don't count unless there is scripture to back up what they're saying. As the body of Christ, we should be unified...it's one thing to exchange ideas and thoughts, but arguing and fighting each other over interpretation is something completely different. Iron sharpens iron! Very shortly, we are going to need each other...these trivial debates won't matter. Now is the time to look up to Christ in unification. Thank you for conveying that...that's my biggest take-away from this message.
(Edit) Also, just some encouragement....be not weary in well doing. I think you are doing a great job with your content. I try to use my best discernment when listening to people, especially those who speak about scripture. I think that you are one of the genuine watchmen in the body. Your videos are appreciated. May God continue to bless you and your work. ☺️

Ephesians 4: 32 Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
For if you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. (Matthew 6:14, NASB)
But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions. (Matthew 6:15, NASB)
Bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you. (Colossians 3:13, NASB)
Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you your transgressions. (Mark 11:35, NASB)
Be on your guard! If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. (Luke 17:3, NASB)
Be on your guard! If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. (Luke 17:3, NASB)
And if he sins against you seven times a day, and returns to you seven times, saying, 'I repent,' forgive him." (Luke 17:4, NASB)
Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
Of David. The LORD is my light and my salvation-- whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life-- of whom shall I be afraid?

I’ll just say before I comment that my family is very newly Torah observant, clumsy and learning. Only about a year into this. We started observing sabbath and then feasts and then somewhat dietary. We were ALREADY saved before Torah, not BY Torah. The only thing we intended to do was keep sabbath actually.
But the blessings that came by that led us into the feasts which are AMAZING and prophetic when you start studying them. Then because the blessings were so beautiful from that, we started dietary....it just kept building. The whole point through is that all the law and prophets hang on LOVE! And God gave us his Torah out of LOVE! He is amazing. A Heavenly Father who lovingly gives instructions to his children that they may be blessed. He says ‘blessings of you choose my ways, curses if you don’t, therefore this day choose LIFE!’ Following Torah is about blessings in THIS life and reward in the next life. Not about salvation or being a ‘better christian’. Yes you become closer to Jesus through living and learning the way He lived and taught but he taught Torah through love as well. He would never teach against anything His Father taught otherwise he would have been a false prophet.
Also, we are all at different places in our walk with the Lord and we must be living with each other since we are all one body. Don’t cause another to stumble because you do or don’t eat pork. Love the Lord thy God and thy neighbor as thyself. Good video, Mike. Thank you for your perspective.

Autumn Acker , yes I will! This that you are part of is fulfilling prophecy!
And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, (Torah) and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. Isaiah 2:3
It’s exciting! Preparing us for the return of the King!!! 😍

    • @returntoyehovahthelord6185
      @returntoyehovahthelord6185 6 ปีที่แล้ว +13

Autumn Acker - not sure which of us you wanted to pray, so I will also. I found the Torah (after having been saved for 24 years) and later married my wife. She has been exposed to it but still fights it and can't seem to hear yet. So, I totally understand the family part. Also my 3 siblings have NO interest in salvation through Yeshua either - or they think they are saved because they're Americans. Keep seeking the Lord for His Truth and read the Torah with an open heart. It is ALL through the entire Bible - literally from Genesis to Revelation.
Revelation 22:14 - "Blessed are they that DO his commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city." That is one of my favorites! YES we MUST be SAVED by the blood of Yeshua (Jesus), but then we must RETURN to God's commandments in order to be obedient.
Yehovah bless you and keep you - and your family. Gregg

Wow Mike, that is one revelation that's sure to ruffle some feathers. This is a super sensitive subject in these last days. I see both sides and there is nothing wrong for wanting to live a biblically sound life and try to live a life pleasing to The Lord by upholding what was written in Torah. There is a HUGE difference though when someone keeping Torah is viewed as more righteous than a brother(or sister) who lives in the freedom of Christ's law(Love YHVH with all your heart, Love thy neighbor as thyself), in which all the other laws are fulfilled. I totally agree, that following Torah principles will lead to a longer life. Self preservation is ingrained in us. Those who want it, can have it. As for me and my house, we serve The Lord the best way we can. In Love. Much love to you and your family. God bless you brother!

    • @highersolutions406
      @highersolutions406 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

Bella Sheryl Marie thank you so much for that comment. I think we as believers sometimes want others, to believe exactly what we believe. I read in Matthew 5 17-20 Yahushua says: don't assume that I came to destroy the law or the prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. I assure you until heaven and earth pass away not the smallest letter or one stroke of a letter will pass from the law until all things are accomplished. Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these Commandments and teaches people to do so will be called least in the kingdom of heaven. But whoever practices and teaches these Commandments will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
So I believe it isn't necessarily a salvation issue we need to be arguing over but I defenately do not want to be called the least in the kingdom...I want to be as close to our Messiah as I can. I don't think we can be too zealous in drawing closer to Him. So I am trying to observe His commands and pick up my cross daily. If that means giving up some foods and keeping the shabbat and His feast days then that's exactly what I want to do.

Higher solutions I like that you understand the feasts now. I keep them, and what a wonderful experience, spending more time with our Lord, getting rid of our little pet sins, it helps to cleanse us. When Jesus said some would be greater in the kingdom of heaven and some would be less, if we don’t obey God, we won’t be in heaven. I know you are probably new to what was spoken on this video, and he did a great job, but if you study it will help you to understand much more, the Old Testament was written for our benefit, God is the same yesterday, today and forever, what was good for His people back then, is the same for us today. They needed the extra holy days to come together and worship Him, we do to. The feasts were given because of sin, we also sin now, in fact, the world is worse now than it was then. We want to be in heaven, to miss heaven is losing everything, especially our lives, we need to obey God’s word to make it! May God bless you🙏🌹

Bobbi Garufi thank you for the encouragement I really do appreciate it. I have been in the Word as much as possible and I can't get enough. I do believe we are saved by grace thru faith not of works lest any man should boast. And I believe works and following the torah (law) is our fruits of being saved. Faith without works is dead. Faith is active with our works, and by works our faith is perfected. Observing the Law (torah) doesn't make us saved, it convicts us of sin so that we need a Savior. Praise Yahushua.

If you think you following Torah makes YOU more lawful, that proves YOU are following a counterfeit that only saves *to a point*. It wants YOU to focus on self and what YOU do...not what HE did for you. Those who recognize their lawlessness (we all are no matter what we do and eat) realize their need for a Lawful Savior. Those who recognize their own ability to uphold the law, are actually worshipping a so called Christ that merely fills the gaps. Which Christ is more lawless? The sinner's or the Torah observant who feels the need for their own person to have to do something bc Jesus didn't quite "cover" it all? Hmmm.

  • @eternalgood1846
    @eternalgood1846 6 ปีที่แล้ว +13

Don’t get lost in the details. Faith is key, follow Him in faith. Faith alone is essential. Abraham followed in faith. What faith? The faith that calls us from sin. Faith is not by sight, but from the Spirit. What Spirit? The Holy Spirit. As a Christian, you should be following the Holy Spirit. Where are we to go in the Spirit? Where ever He leads. He tells you where to go, and what to say. You will know this more you follow Him more. The more our spirits are still, the more we can hear His voice. The sheep will follow His voice. We will not follow another. Following the Torah is interesting, but following the Holy Spirit is best. He will not lead His followers into confusion. He will tell you if you are breaking from His Spirit. You don’t need the law, you need His Spirit to remind you of what Jesus taught. In Him, you will not be lead astray or confused about what to do. People sin because they are still carnal. Following His Spirit, and His will for your life is takes time and perseverance. The closer you get to God, the more trials come your way to test your faith. How else can your faith be refined as to pure gold, so to speak? It can be a lonely road/walk to holiness, but fruitful and satisfying. Godliness with contentment is great gain. Seek it. You may not always have the written word, but you will never be without His voice. Listen to it, you will not be disappointed. The law is for those who need law, the Spirit is forever. Yes, Matthew 5:17-19, says one thing, but this is the universal law, the grand law of God. God wants us to follow Him and His voice, as Christ did, as Abraham did, as Moses did, and as we are. Start hearing His voice today and you will be blessed. The trials we face today are not worthy of what blessings will eventually come our way in time.
Not that you seek such things. Look for His will and the peace of God that transcends understanding will enshrine your heart. In that, you will be fulfilling the law. Love your neighbour as yourself. Die daily in Him. You are loved.

They say most Jews will be going to hell. But at the same time I believe that most Christians are in the very same boat as Judah. Both practice their own forms of lawlessness by replacing them with either talmudic decrees or church doctrines.
And both achieve the same thing. Lawlessness brought about by private interpretation and man-made teachings.
Both groups attend either yeshivas or cemeteries in order to learn these man-made doctrines.

Correct. Iniquity is lawlessness or not following the law. However, we should ask ourselves whether that means the whole Torah or simply the Ten Commandments and a few other items that may be important to keep. Read Acts 15 where the early church dealt with this very issue.

I am the only person in my house that keeps Torah. I have family members who eat unclean meats and celebrate Christmas. But I don't think I'm better than them. I feel blessed by keeping Torah. And I like to share that with my family. But I don't hold anything against them. Because we all fall short of the glory of God. At the end of the day we're all redeemed by the blood of Christ.

That is not true. When Yahweh gave the Israelites the commandments he told them that what he was instructing(Torah=instruction) them to do was not too difficult for them. “Now what I am commanding you today is not too difficult for you or beyond your reach. It is not up in heaven, so that you have to ask, “Who will ascend into heaven to get it and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?” Nor is it beyond the sea, so that you have to ask, “Who will cross the sea to get it and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?” No, the word is very near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart so you may obey it.”
‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭30:11-14‬ ‭ If it was so difficult for us Jesus would not have said “if you love me keep my commandments”. Especially since not keeping the commandments is lawlessness. A lot of Christians quote “I can do all things through Christ Jesus.” Except when it comes to the law/Torah. The grace of Christ is what enables us to be obedient to Yah and his commandments. In fact that is the promise of the new covenant in Jeremiah 31:33. That he will write his law/his Torah in our hearts. I know for many years that keeping Torah has been taught to be bondage. But that is simply not true and encourage you to seek the Father concerning keeping his commandments. It has been a blessing to my life. It’s definitely goes against flow of what Christianity teaches. I began this journey when I started getting closer to Yah and I don’t want to go back. I pray many will do likewise. We can’t force people to learn or unlearn anything. Everybody is going at their own pace. May Yah be with you. Shalom.

No one is justified, under the so-called law of Moses! Not only was the majority of the 613 never from God, but the covenant made on Mt. Sinai was for the Israelite, not the pagans, not the Gentiles! One who has Messiah is not grafted into the Israelite, they are grafted into the 'Body of Christ'. "Don't mix old wine in new wineskins"! The 3rd Century Talmudic 'Laws of Moses' saved no-one! If one used the same foundation as the 3rd Century Rabbi Simlai did to declare they're 613 Commands of God found within the Torah, then one should proclaim the 1,054 times the Messiah made authoritative comments found in the New Testament. Moses, Joshua, David, Solomen made a habit of violating what is being called the Commandments of God. The Messiah called them the traditions of men. Paul called those who follow them 'Accursed' (Damned in Hebrew). One who lives by the flesh will read, "The Israelite shall not mix seeds in the same plot", 'The Israelite must not mix wool with linen", "The Israelite must not yoke an Ox with a donkey", and think these mean just what they say. 2Jn_1:5 And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another. 1Jn 4:21 And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.

The Apostle Paul would tell you the same thing he told the Galatians in Galatians 3:1-3 O foolish Galatians who has bewitched you.........Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith. Are you so foolish ? Having begun in Spirit are you now being made perfect by the flesh? And in verse10-13 ....Cursed is everyone who does not continue in ALL THINGS which are written in the book of the law " the Torah" to do them. But that NO ONE is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for the just shall live by faith................Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law......In Galatians 4:9-10 The Apostle Paul makes the case of those who would seek salvation thru keeping of the Torah and concludes in verse 11 stating "I am afraid for you least I have labored in vain . This is a constant theme throughout the Epistles. Jesus also warns against mixing law and Grace with an analogy in Matthew 9:17 you can't put new wine in old wine skins. Finley Galatians 1:8 If we or an Angel from heaven should preach a gospel to you contrary to the one you received let him be accursed. Reiterated again in 2 Corinthians 11:4 .. . Finally 2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is God-breathed and useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness / now my statement on this matter is that all scripture must be rightfully Divided .

Jesus, God incarnate { "the Gospel of John chapter 1"} did not come down suffer and die to re-lick the calf concerning the Law of Moses as if somehow Moses didn't do a good enough job delivering the massage. Or perhaps is it God didn't do a good enough job of implementing His law and it needed to be tweaked a little? NO ! This is Blasphemy . But it is exactly where one winds up when they mix Law and Grace .The law was by design, implemented to prove to man his fallen nature. Jesus fulfilled all the requirements of the law for us because we were not and are not able . Thru Grace we are made perfect in Spirit not the flesh. The Holy Spirit takes away the desire for sin ,and chastens the flesh. We look to the Spirit of Christ not the law for our salvation. Something that someone who is not Baptized in the Holy Spirit cannot understand. Even so though you are saved in the spirit it is not so for the flesh. your body grows old and dies .This is what Jesus was explaining to Nicodemus in John 3:4-12. No we in Christ are Children of a new Covenant guided in faith and Spirit.

Arthur Gros, the Pharisees were only focused on rigidly fulfilling the law, they had lost sight of the purpose of the law which was to worship God and this is why Christ told them they couldn’t understand Him because they were not of His sheep. We are saved by grace, but if you are born again of the Holy Spirit then it works in your heart and mind to mold you to be more like Christ. We are constantly being refined by the Holy Spirit to make our path straighter and more narrow. It’s not even something you’re really aware of unless you look back at your behavior before you got saved as compared to after you got saved. Early in your walk with Christ it’s easier for you to fall off the narrow path and back into the ways of the world. If you don’t set yourself apart from the world it’s also more likely you’ll fall off the path. The world is full of bad apples and if you put a good apple in with a bunch of rotten apples the good apple will start to rot quickly. It’s kind of like people who are battling addiction and they don’t “change playmates and playgrounds”. If they’re going to continue to hang out with the people still using drugs they are fighting a losing battle. So it goes for Christians who still mingle with darkness in the world, their light will dim. In my early walk with Christ I fell off the path and I was very troubled in my Spirit when I was engaging in willful sin. I had no peace because the Holy Spirit was constantly convicting me until I repented and got back on the narrow path. I’ve been saved 40 years now, so I don’t fall off the path as much, but I’ve separated myself from the world too. I live in the world but I’m not OF the world. I don’t follow the world, I let the Holy Spirit guide me and I pray each day to walk in the Spirit and not the flesh. This in no way means I can’t sin, because as long as I’m flesh I have the capacity to sin. I don’t commit willful sins though, but sometimes I lose my temper or I’m not as kind as I should be with someone and I immediately get chastened by the Holy Spirit and repent, both to God and the person I didn’t treat as I should have. I don’t wake up each morning thinking about the commandments and that I must obey them. I pray to walk in the Spirit. I know the only righteousness I have is from Christ and the blood He shed, not from anything I’ve done. But people try to cut you down and say you are doing works if you don’t engage in willful sin. Why would I want to commit willful sin since I’ve done that in my early Christian walk and I know what will happen, the Holy Spirit is going to make me miserable until I repent. My question is how can you be born again of the Holy Spirit and engage in willful sin and do it with ease, without any remorse? How do you avoid the constant conviction of the Holy Spirit? I grew up Baptist, so I don’t know how to keep the feast days and as far as the Sabbath, I devote time to spend with God and worship Him every day. I can’t drive because of a seizure disorder, so I can’t physically attend a church, but I have a few good preachers I listen to on TH-cam, like Charles Lawson, and I read my Bible and my kids and I have “church” where we talk about scriptures and study them. The Holy Spirit is not tormenting me for not observing the feast days and a Saturday Sabbath, but if I do wrong against my fellow man, He convicts me immediately. If not following the feast days and the Saturday Sabbath is wrong, why isn’t He convicting me about it? Or maybe I am observing the 7th day Sabbath when I spend time with God on the 7th day like I do each day. But the Jews don’t even have the lunar calendar used in biblical times to accurately keep the Sabbath of those days which didn’t always fall on Saturday since it went by the phases of the moon, and even their feast days are slightly off. I’ve seen them bickering about it. And Christians who do observe feast days and the 7th day Sabbath are usually very pious and self-righteous as if they have more righteousness than those of us who only have the blood of Christ for our righteousness. The Bible says God only accepts His Son’s righteousness because any righteousness we perceive ourselves to have is filthy rags to Him. So, I let the Holy Spirit guide me and pray I am pleasing to God. When the Holy Spirit convicts me I’ve done wrong, I repent and try not to do it again. If I’m wrong for not following the Jewish customs of feast days and a Saturday Sabbath why doesn’t the Holy Spirit convict me of my wrongdoing?

      Hi Lion,
To understand this verse you have to consider the context.
First, Paul is talking about philosophes in Coloss, not about Jews that observe the Law. Because Jew do not worship angels....
So this philosophes are judging you because you eat clean, you keep the sabbat, and the feast of the Lord ( Holy days).
So as you can see, first christians keep the Torah!!!
Second, these are shadow ( in greek, il means model) of things to come means it’s about things not happened yet!
So u have to keep these things until the return of Christ, because these are prophecies!
Third, the body is of christ means the meal and the feast is the things that we share as a family. We are the body of Christ and we don’t share the same Holy days and de same meat? That’s an issue.
So as u can understand, these verses, are telling us, that the first christians kept the Torah!!!!

    Law Of God
The great principles of God’s law are embodied in the Ten Commandments and exemplified in the life of Christ. They express God’s love, will, and purposes concerning human conduct and relationships are binding upon all people in every age. These precepts are the basis of God’s covenant with His people and the standard in God’s judgment. Through the agency of the Holy Spirit they point out sin and awaken a sense of need for a Saviour. Salvation is all of grace and not of works, but its fruitage is obedience to the Commandments. This obedience develops Christian character and results in a sense of well-being. It is an evidence of our love for the Lord and our love for our fellow men. The obedience of faith demonstrates the power of Christ to transform lives, and therefore strengthens Christian witness.
    (Exo. 20:1-17; Psa. 40:7, 8; Matt. 22:36-40; Deut. 28:1-14; Matt. 5:17-20; Heb. 8:8-10; John 15:7-10; Eph. 2:8-10; 1 John 5:3; Rom. 8:3, 4; Psa. 19:7-14.)
    Sabbath
The beneficent Creator, after the six days of Creation, rested on the seventh day and instituted the Sabbath for all people as a memorial of Creation. The fourth commandment of God’s unchangeable law requires the observance of this seventh-day Sabbath as the day of rest, worship, and ministry in harmony with the teaching and practice of Jesus, the Lord of the Sabbath. The Sabbath is a day of delightful communion with God and one another. It is a symbol of our redemption in Christ, a sign of our sanctification, a token of our allegiance, and a foretaste of our eternal future in God’s kingdom. The Sabbath is God’s perpetual sign of His eternal covenant between Him and His people. Joyful observance of this holy time from evening to evening, sunset to sunset, is a celebration of God’s creative and redemptive acts.
    (Gen. 2:1-3; Exo. 20:8-11; Luke 4:16; Isa. 56:5, 6; Isa. 58:13, 14; Matt. 12:1-12; Exo. 31:13-17; Eze. 20:12, 20; Deut. 5:12-15; Heb. 4:1-11; Lev. 23:32; Mark 1:32.)
    KJV Romans 3
27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
29 Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also:
30 Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.
31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
    KJV John 14
21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

I believe we should be following Torah "or the commandments" out of love and obedience.
What about how Paul circumsized Timothy? Acts 16:3
The holidays and food was what first got me onto following Torah, as we know all the holidays today are the Beasts Feasts.
1st John 3:4 Sin is the transgression of the law.
Doesn't that mean if we Transgress the law we are sinning?

so Paul wanted him to join them on their journey. IN DEFERENCE TO THE JEWS OF THE AREA, he arranged for Timothy to be circumcised before they left, for everyone knew that his father was a Greek.
      ~Acts 16:3
"Everyone who sins is breaking God’s law, for all sin is contrary to the law of God. And you know that Jesus came to take away our sins, and there is no sin in Him. Anyone who continues to live in Him WILL NOT SIN. But anyone who keeps on sinning does not know Him or understand who He is. Dear children, DON'T LET ANYONE DECEIVE YOU ABOUT THIS: When people do what is right, it shows that they are righteous, even as Christ is righteous. But when people keep on sinning, it shows that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. But the Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil. Those who have been born into God’s family do not make a practice of sinning, because God’s life is in them. So they can’t keep on sinning, because they are children of God. So now we can tell who are children of God and who are children of the devil. Anyone who does not live righteously and does not love other believers does not belong to God."
      ~1 John 3:4‭-‬10
5 “The purpose of my instruction is that all believers would be filled with love that comes from a pure heart, a clear conscience, and genuine faith. 6 But some people have missed this whole point. They have turned away from these things and spend their time in meaningless discussions. 7 They want to be known as teachers of the law of Moses, but they don’t know what they are talking about, even though they speak so confidently. 8 We know that the law is good when used correctly. 9 For the law was not intended for people who do what is right. It is for people who are lawless and rebellious, who are ungodly and sinful, who consider nothing sacred and defile what is holy, who kill their father or mother or commit other murders. 10 The law is for people who are sexually immoral, or who practice homosexuality, or are slave traders, liars, promise breakers, or who do anything else that contradicts the wholesome teaching 11 that comes from the glorious Good News entrusted to me by our blessed God.”

He circumcised him because he didn’t want him to be a stumbling block for the Jews he was preaching to. It’s not a heaven or hell issue if you follow some laws or not it’s when you take those laws and make them above what Jesus did. When you do that then Jesus died in vain. I follow some laws but I don’t tell people they have to or ever think I have more favor with God because I do these. People need be sharping each other and taking the planks out our own eyes so we are pleasing to the Father :) Shalom

This is simple. Yes the law is very much still in effect. The term not under the law means you don’t have to suffer the penalty of the law which is death. Being under grace means you don’t have to die from breaking the law you can repent and sin no more. The definition of sin is transgressing the law. So if the law didn’t have to be followed how would you define sin? Yes, follow the Torah.
Matthew 5:17-18 King James Version (KJV)
17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
1 John 3:4 King James Version (KJV)
4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

    • @LovesSummer100
      @LovesSummer100 6 ปีที่แล้ว +7

You are correct that sin is the transgression of the law as the scripture says. The confusion, however is that the sam word "Torah" can be used to refer to the entire law and the prophets, just the first 5 books or just the Ten Commandments. How do we know what continues and what is abolished?
I believe Paul's clearest teaching on this is Colossians 2:16-17, where he says:
"So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths, WHICH ARE A SHADOW OF THINGS TO COME, but the substance is of Christ."
In other words, the things that are a shadow of things to come do not need to be kept. This includes the feasts and festivals and the sacrificial system as well as circumcision but not the Ten Commandments.
This is pretty clear if you think about it and read Acts 15 where this very question came up in the early church. The verdict of the Spirit-led church council was:
      Acts 15:24-29 NKJV
"Since we have heard that some who went out from us have troubled you with words, unsettling your souls, saying, "You must be circumcised and keep the law" -to whom we gave no such commandment- [25] it seemed good to us, being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men to you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul, [26] men who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. [27] We have therefore sent Judas and Silas, who will also report the same things by word of mouth. [28] For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things: [29] that you abstain from things offered to idols, from blood, from things strangled, and from sexual immorality. If you keep yourselves from these, you will do well. Farewell."
Here we see a few things kept relating to what to eat as stated in the levitical laws and reference to not having or serving other gods, one of the Ten Commandments. So we see the continuation of some things, but the majority do not continue.
The Ten Commandments specifically are not a shadow of things to come. The were written by God's own hand in tables of stone, symbolizing their permanence and placed inside the Ark of the Covenant to show their centrality to the issue of sin and grace. The rest of the laws and ordinances, which were "abolished in His flesh" and called "the law of commandments contained in ordinances" by Paul in Ephesians 2:15, were written on scrolls and placed beside the Ark of the Covenant instead of inside it, showing it had less importance and less permanence.

It's not necessary to go off, but my concern is him misleading people. It takes years of study for most people to rightly divide scripture. Those who think the first five books of the bible are there for decoration are highly mistaken.
He doesn't seem to understands how the new testament only confirms the old testament. And he's missing understanding on the fact that the bible is not talking to Christians, but his chosen people Yisra'el who are to set the example for the rest of the world to keep and to be grafted into. If you are grafted into a nation who is under an eternal covenant, you become a beater of threat sane covenant and bound by those laws. As a matter of fact, it's right there in the first of the ten commandments: blessed are the _thousands_ who keep my law. There are millions of people who claim Christianity. Let that sink in. Both the old and new testament points out that only thousands will keep his law...due to lack of understanding.

I believe Grace is best defined as Merited favor..or favor in the eyes of...How else do you show someone you love them other than obeying their commands..their do's and don'ts...we all have them...don't know why Abba had me comment on your specific comment but I felt compelled...Shalom brother143

Summer Franklin, that was the Pharisees offense and why Jesus said they were not of His sheep. They had become so rigidly fixated on keeping the law that they had become more focused on that than they were on God which is why they were continually criticizing Jesus and His disciples for breaking the laws. But Jesus told them He is greater than the law because He created the law. The Holy Spirit should be guiding us and we trust Him to convict us of our wrongdoings. I know He convicts me. We shouldn’t be obsessed with the law, but focused on God and when you’re focused on Him the Holy Spirit will guide you to walk as Jesus walked and you won’t walk in willful sin because Jesus didn’t walk in willful sin.

There is truth in what you say, however do we do away with a physical practice because of the spiritual? Do we murder as long as we don't hate? The answer to that is: of course not. Below is something I had been working on for pretty much the first year of my walk following God's instructions. I pray it edifies and builds up. Shalom, brother!
    -----
Before I begin, reading and understanding 2 Thessalonians 2 changed my view on everything and helped me understand some important points in this walk, which involves realizing that we may be rejecting God's truth; and when we know what His truth is (based purely on what scripture says it is - hint read Psalm 119) then we have a choice to make. Please read 2 Thessalonians 2 and understand that it is talking about believers rejecting God's truth, and it is God who blinds you if you reject His truth. I had to realize that I may be rejecting His truth, and I keep that thought in my mind almost constantly in this walk.
I then had to ask myself a very important question: do I really care what our Creator says? I decided that I did, and continued digging. This is a list of scripture that has stuck out during my journey as to why and how His Law is relevant to our walk as believers.
    -----
What is the purpose of Grace?
    Titus 2:11-14
For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age, waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works.
    -----
What is The Covenant of God?
Jeremiah 31:33, Ezekiel 36:26-27, Hebrew 8:8-13 and 10:16. He will write His law on our heart and cause us to do them; the new covenant is made with Israel.
    -----
God reveals His plan through His prophets
Amos 3:7 God doesn't do anything unless revealing it through his prophets.
    NOTE: Read Deuteronomy 13 carefully.
    -----
    God does not change
Numbers 23:19, Malachi 3:6, Hebrews 13:8 God does not change, Jesus is the same yesterday today and forever
    -----
Who are we as His people?
Romans 11 being grafted in + Ephesians 2:11-22
    1 Peter 2 + Exodus 19:6 + Hosea 4:6 a Kingdom of Priests/rejected for knowledge for rejecting his Law.
    -----
    Paul's mentions
Romans 3:31 Do we overthrow the law? No! We uphold it!
Romans 7:12 So the law is holy, and the commandment is holy and righteous and good.
    -----
    What is Sin?
1 John 3:4 Sin is transgression of the law.
Isaiah 66 When Messiah comes back, those caught eating of the abominations will die.
Hebrews 10 reveals that sin (transgression of His Law) is a very serious issue.
26 For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27 but a fearful expectation of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries. 28 Anyone who has set aside the law of Moses dies without mercy on the evidence of two or three witnesses. 29 How much worse punishment, do you think, will be deserved by the one who has trampled underfoot the Son of God, and has profaned the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has outraged the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know him who said, "Vengeance is mine; I will repay." And again, "The Lord will judge his people." 31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
    -----
Okay, so that Law of Moses is different though than the Law of God, right? There is a "Law of God vs Law of Moses"... right? I don't believe so anymore.
Nehemiah 8 Law of Moses and Law of God seem to be used interchangeably.
Mark 7:9-13 - And here Jesus seems to compare God's Commandments with Moses while at the same time distinguishing Pharisaic Tradition from Moses. "9 And he said to them, "You have a fine way of rejecting the commandment of God in order to establish your tradition! 10 For Moses said, 'Honor your father and your mother'; and, 'Whoever reviles father or mother must surely die.' 11 But you say, 'If a man tells his father or his mother, 'Whatever you would have gained from me is Corban' (that is, given to God) 12 then you no longer permit him to do anything for his father or mother, 13 thus making void the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down. And many such things you do.
    -----
What about Jesus' Commandments? Aren't they different?
John 7:16 Jesus answered them, and said, "My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me."
    -----
Okay, so what is He-who-sent-Jesus' doctrine?
Proverbs 4:2 For I give you good doctrine, forsake ye not my law.
    -----
    More of Jesus' words
Matthew 5:17-19 + Luke 16:17 Jesus says he didn't come to destroy the law/harder for heaven and earth to pass away than for the law to pass away.
Matthew 23:1-3 Jesus tells a gathering of people and his disciples to obey what the Pharisees say to do when specifically they are on the seat of Moses (reading only from the Torah).
    -----
    The Will of the Father?
Psalm 40:8 I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.
    ---The Clincher---
    What is in Revelation?
Revelation 12:17 + 14:12 + 22:12 (KJV) keep the commandments of God AND the testimony of Jesus.

It's entirely possible the gist of it is hypocrisy. "Purifying oneself, but eating of swine's flesh"... But we shouldn't overlook the text either. It may or may not be able food. But God did define what is food and what isn't. Even Mike admitted that unclean foods are not good for the body. Why put bad things in your body intentionally? If it's all you have, in order to survive, I do believe that Torah is all about preservation of life. "Help your neighbors ox in the ditch even if it's the Sabbath." Torah is all about restoration.

By the way @On Point Preparedness I do agree with most of your video. The Spiritual aspect of the law is more important. It always was that way, even in Moses day. But because of their hardness of heart, they couldn't see beyond the simple physical instructions that, like we both agree on, teach the Spiritual principles. That is what Christ came to teach. He taught us to follow after the Spirit of the Law, and not merely the letter. But Christ tells us about the jot and the tittle. Matthew 5, "Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."

Blessings, KC Gonzales. I was at a point in my life where I was seeking truth, and I scoured the internet for what is truth, but become increasingly frustrated. I threw my hands up in the air one day and knew in my spirit that God was telling me that the only truth was in His Word. I saw a cousin posting about Torah, and how the Bible says that God's Law is His truth. That started my journey, but I kept fighting "how much of the law do we keep". Well, all of it. I agree with Mike, there is no, "as much as you can keep" although in a physical sense that is true. But there are spiritual aspects of the Law that go beyond mere physical practice that CAN and SHOULD be kept.
Paul used the passage in Deut 25:4 about muzzling and ox in 1 Cor 9:9 and 1 Tim 5:18 to prove this. Of course God cares for the animal, but how much more so does He care for us? Paul used the law lawfully. It all became clear in time, and with a little reverse engineering.
If you take my list, and go at it in reverse order, that's sort of how I came to the full understanding of God's Laws as relevant. There is nothing in my life that I wouldn't give up or do for the Father. If God says don't eat bacon, then don't eat bacon.
If you order a good burger that normally would have bacon on it, and request that they "hold the bacon", but they accidentally put bacon on it, yeah that's where grace comes in. But if you tell God, "Ya know, it's just this one time, I'll be all right" that is slapping God in the face. That is intentionally disobeying Him. Or, ya know, order something different.
So, do we keep the law for salvation? Well, I'd say, to a degree, yes. Not because the law can save us. But because the law reveals where our heart is at. If our heart is to love God, then we keep His commandments. To intentionally reject His law is to trample on the Grace of God, trampling on the blood shed for the covenant, that is like Heb 10 says, Jesus, outraging the spirit of Grace.
Does it say to keep the law perfectly? We're humans. Like 1 John 2 says, "My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous." And yet it goes on to say, "3 And by this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments. 4 Whoever says “I know him” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him, 5 but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. By this we may know that we are in him: 6 whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked."
But let's be gracious with one another. We know as well that James tells us that whoever knows something to be sin, then to him it is sin. Those who are ignorant to this truth will be judged less harshly than those who have sought after and know it. Forever be gracious and kind to one another. I pray this blesses and edifies the body of our Lord and Savior.

Good job Mike. The sum of your revelation is we are to be spiritually circumcised. In other words, we are to live in the spirit... Yes, in the spirit we are not abolishing the law but fulfilling every letter of the law. Those who cling to the physical laws and commandments believe their salvation comes from fulfilling them which is not possible and thus, condemned bc it becomes ritualism and negating “By Grace we are saved...”. The laws of Moses are but a shadow of the spiritual truths that Lord Jesus later revealed to us as noted in the New Testament

M T, Amen, it’s about walking in the Spirit of Christ which is in every born again Christian. Did Christ live in willful sin and disobedience? No, therefore His Spirit cannot either. We are flesh, but we don’t walk in the flesh. If we do wrong, the Holy Spirit will grieve our hearts until we repent and return to walking in the Spirit. If you can live in willful sin without it troubling your heart I don’t think you have the Holy Spirit in you. If you become fixated on the law, you’re making the same mistake the Pharisees made. Let the Holy Spirit guide you and keep your focus on Christ and pray each day to walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh. Easy, peasy. People make this harder than it is. I’m not constantly thinking “Am I obeying the law?”. I pray every day to walk in the Spirit and then I just let the Spirit guide me. And I don’t mingle with the darkness in the world, I set myself apart. I think people who still cling to the world have a harder time walking in the Spirit.☺️

No Kim. You don't get it. If you live by the law then you shall be condemn by the law and Christ's death on the cross was for naught. Would you let a child die in a ditch b/c today is on the Sabbath and you're not allow to work? Its what a Pharisee would have done b/c they live by the law. When I was blessed with the Holy Spirit, I knew that God dwells in me and death from the law has no power over me. Jesus wants you to have his yoke and He would bear yours since His burden are light but ours are heavy that leads to condemnation. It does not mean I am free to run wild and do evil. No. It means I live by Grace and in the Spirit b/c our Lord covers me. The laws were provided as an example that man can not be save by obeying them and thus, the Israelite had to make animal sacrifices for the sins of the nation. Otherwise, why would the Israelite had to make sacrifices if the law can save them? Thus, our Lord Jesus became the final and perfect sacrifice for our transgression once and for all. Thus, fulfilling the law and freeing us from its condemnation. I know its hard to understand and I would hope that the Holy Spirit will guide you in this.
And I would also hope that our Lord would free you from the yoke that holds you down if you would only exchange it for His.

another thing. The Sabbath was made for man, not man was made for the Sabbath. What's more important? Keeping the Sabbath holy or keeping our heart/spirit holy for God since we are a temple of the Most High?

      @Redeemed.of.YHVH.thru.Christ 6 ปีที่แล้ว +9

Kim Rice, no, He said “spiritually circumcised” which means to walk in the Spirit. Romans 8: 5 “For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit”. Those who aren’t saved can only walk in the flesh because they are not of the Spirit of Christ, therefore they seek the desires of the flesh. Those who are saved are flesh but also are of the Spirit of Christ which transforms them to be like minded as Christ. Christ did not commit sin, therefore if we walk in the Spirit of Christ we will not commit willful sin because if we do the Holy Spirit will grieve our hearts until we repent. We will always have the potential to sin as long as we are in these fleshly bodies, but the Holy Spirit of Christ gives us the power to overcome sin. He writes His commandments, His 2 laws of love in our hearts. Love God above all others and with all our heart, mind, and soul, and Love our neighbor as we love ourselves. These 2 commandments encompass all the moral laws of the 10 commandments. If you love God and put Him first, you will have no other gods than Him and you will have no false idols you worship or graven images. If you love your neighbor you will not commit any acts against him/her to harm them, such as murder, stealing, bearing false witness, coveting, adultery, etc. The 7th day Sabbath in biblical times was kept according to a lunar calendar that doesn’t exist today. It didn’t always occur on Saturday because it was according to the phases of the moon. The biblical calendar also doesn’t start in January, it starts in the Spring. People today can’t even agree on whether the day starts in the evening and goes to the morning, 6pm to 6am, or whether it starts at sunrise. Some say the Bible says the day starts at sunrise, others say the Bible says it starts in the evening. Since we go by the Gregorian calendar in the USA and Europe goes by the Julian calendar and not the biblical calendar created by God, trying to keep the true Sabbath is like trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. The 7th day Sabbath is a law given originally by God for the Israelites, the Jewish people chosen by God. The gospel wasn’t even being preached to the Gentiles at the time the 10 commandments were given because Gentiles are not God’s original chosen people, the Jews are. The Jews today can’t even agree on the true Sabbath and what day it starts on which is why they have returned to the biblical calendar with the law Israel passed June 18, 2018. The Bible says love is THE FULFILLMENT OF THE LAW because we are only commanded to obey the 2 commandments of Christ, His laws of love. We are not bound to a 7th day Sabbath unless you are Jewish. Even Jewish people who are saved by grace are not bound to the 7th day Sabbath. It’s practiced by Judaism, the Jewish religion that denies Christ is the Messiah so they’re not even saved, and certain Christian churches like 7th day Adventists keep a 7th day Sabbath. Colossians 2: 16 “Therefore let no man judge you in meat or drink, in any holy days (feast days), new moons, OR ANY SABBATH DAYS”. People are making this more complicated than it needs to be. Jesus summed it up for us, “Follow me. Obey MY commandments.”. Loving God and Loving your neighbor fulfills the whole law. It’s that simple. People are trying to turn others into Pharisees who were so obsessed with the law they had lost sight of God. They were fixated on the law instead of being focused on God. They constantly rebuked Jesus and His disciples for not obeying the Sabbath and other ceremonial laws. Jesus told them He is greater than the law. Don’t listen to people who are trying to make you a Pharisee. Read the Bible and listen to Jesus only. If you want to keep the 7th day Sabbath, keep the feast days, remove certain foods from your diet, it’s fine to do so, but these are not laws you must obey. And you should not condemn others if they don’t do these things. The other 9 of the 10 commandments are kept by you simply keeping the 2 commandments of Jesus. People are even telling people they must obey the 613 laws of Moses including animal sacrifice. This is ridiculous and this is what happens when people listen to other people rather than listening to Jesus. The purpose of the new covenant was because the old laws were impossible for man to keep perfectly in our fallen sinful state. That’s why Christ fulfilled them for us and made the new covenant.

Hi Mike! Thank you so much for leaving these teachings up. This is my second time going through them as I have another friend that has turned to Hebrew Roots and eventually shunned me because I couldn’t meet the criteria that was sufficient for her to continue to be my friend. I’m heartbroken and confused. My life makes it almost impossible to meet these criterion’s because I care for my 4 boys every waking minute. My 100% faith in Christ Jesus, Holy Spirit guided reading of scripture and these teachings have helped make this transition lighter. I pray for my friend every night and I love her as I let go. God Bless you and keep you close, in Jesus name I pray!!!

I have to tell you what happened to me. I was learning all about the Bible and the subject came up about eating clean and unclean. I wrestled with this for months because I love to eat pork...ribs, bacon, roasts, bbq, bologna...love, love, love it. So I wrestled with this concept of not to eat pork and wasn't sure if what I was learning was true or not. One day I am reading the Bible and came across this verse in Isaiah 66:17 and I know that all of the NT teachers followed Isaiah and said that God is talking about the end times in it. The verse says, "..... those eating pig's flesh and the abomination and mice, shall come to an end together." Immediately after I read this verse, all desire to eat pork left me and I have not eaten it since, I don't want to eat it and I used to want pork every single day. I was also an avid lobster eater....desire - gone. Over the years I think how much pork and lobster are both highly desired and devoured by the public. Everywhere ya look bacon is being pushed - candied, chocolate covered, regular bacon...it's everywhere. Why is that? Just makes ya think.

Very well researched and stated. For such a new believer your depth perception in spiritual things is good. You and I will NEVER convince everyone to our way of thinking, and we shouldn’t. “Let everyone be convinced in their own minds”. Follow Jesus will all your heart, soul and mind and love others. That is the sum of it all. Keep up your study, brother. Jesus is a subject that can be studied your whole life and never reach the true depths of Him.

A Kling Point taken. Paul said "Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling" as well. Doesn't mean that you can live any way you want and still be saved. My point was that we can all have a tendency to "major in the minor" points of biblical life and try to point out everyone else's failures without looking in the mirror and working on your own first.

Amazes me how people would prefer to mock than actually learn or listen to others. Clearly it does not mean we are free to sin. Clearly Jesus' teachings back up the Commandments. There are over 600 laws that people must follow to the letter under the Mosaic law of the OLD Covenant, we are under a NEW covenant. If you sincerely tried to learn instead of mock or win an argument you would see that what Jesus taught does not allow us to harm others, ie., bare false witness, commit adultery, murder, etc.
But you are not sincere in learning you would rather mock and are puffed up with pride like the Pharisees. I will not waste my time with hateful, pride filled mockers. If you truly live as Jesus told us we must, you will not break the commandments to begin with.
      Matthew 22:34-40
34 And when the Pharisees heard that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, they themselves gathered together. 35 One of them, an expert in the law, tested Him with a question: 36“Teacher, which commandment is the greatest in the Law?”
37 Jesus declared, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 All the Law and the Prophets depend on these two commandments.”

Hello UzeHerNam (neat name). How does the law of say, not committing adultery, lead us to Christ? Perhaps the law that Paul was referring to was the *sacrificial law* , the picture of sin leading to death...without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin. But now that Christ has come there is no need for the Levitical sacrificial system when going to God. The sacrificial system, or law that was added because of transgressions, was a tutor that led us to Christ. But now that Christ has come we no longer sacrifice animals. One sacrifice--made once for all. We still don't lie, steal, commit adultery, worship other gods, etc. (as you rightly pointed out) so those laws are still in place, but one law is not currently being practiced because God took away the temple. It will be set back up and Isaiah 66 talks about a people who choose their own ways (sacrificing) instead of that in which He delights (Yeshua). Peter says we need to be careful how we listen to Paul's letters. I know I struggled with this. I do believe the sacrificial system is the law that was our tutor. Regardless, blessings in Yeshua's holy name. May He come quickly and take us to be with Him.

One more comment Mike. One thing I have noticed that without fail EVERYONE that i have seen that tries to keep the Law after being "saved" will typically look down and criticize those that think as we think, because they say we have to do the works of the Law to please Yeshua. Paul who was a Pharasee said that as far as the Law he was blameless, but realized in the end after his revelation of Yeshua the Law cant save but condemn due to our fallen Nature. Jesus called the Pharisees White Washed Tombs for a good reason. Your video explains that.

There shouldn't be a debate or confusion. This should be very VERY simple. And is... Jesus said himself: "And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand: Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man."
    Matthew 15:10‭-‬11 KJV
"Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ. Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,"
    Colossians 2:16‭-‬18 KJV
"Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances, (Touch not; taste not; handle not; Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men?"
    Colossians 2:20‭-‬22 KJV

So if you abide in the law it will not set you apart from the world? That's pretty strong words there! So doing what the world is not, does not set me apart? AND the Law does not teach me righteousness (Min 23:36) (Which means living right according to Yah)? Even though there are verses that tell us otherwise?? What about Acts 15. Where they are teaching new believers what sins to stop now. And then knew that there was Moses taught in every city at that time?? What does that tell you? And to tell people, oh its okay if you eat bacon from time to time....is fine....that's like telling them its okay to sin from time to time. Don't worry you will be fine. You are correct that we are to apply these to our life. To not mix with unbelievers, but we practice that by following the commandments that we have been given. It helps one to identify sin and people that are in sin. Without the knowledge of the law then our armor has dents and weaknesses in it that can be brought down.
And yes I watched the whole thing.
[Pro 6:23 KJV] 23 For the commandment [is] a lamp; and the law [is] light; and reproofs of instruction [are] the way of life:
If you look up Law in this verse the hebrew word is Strong's H8451 "towrah"
What did our Messiah tell us to be???
[Mat 5:14-17 KJV] 14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. 17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
How can one be a light to men if they are not following what Yah commanded?
And telling people they are not condemned by eating unclean meat, is going against the very words of our Messiah:
[Mat 5:19 KJV] 19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach [them], the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
[Jhn 14:15, 21 KJV] 15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. ... 21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
[Jhn 15:10 KJV] 10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
Do we just ignore what Messiah taught us?
[1Jo 2:3-4 KJV] 3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
[1Jo 3:22, 24 KJV] 22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. ... 24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.
[1Jo 5:2-3 KJV] 2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
[2Jo 1:6 KJV] 6 And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.
[Rev 12:17 KJV] 17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
[Rev 14:12 KJV] 12 Here is the patience of the saints: here [are] they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
[Rev 22:14 KJV] 14 Blessed [are] they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
So let me ask you this? Which commandments are we to keep? I guess we ignore them? What say you?

If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
    (John 14:15-17)
Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage. So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests. And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. For many are called, but few are chosen.
    (Matt 22:9-14)
Teachers are held to a more strict judgment.
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.
    (Matt 5:17-20)
Don't trust men to do your research, read the WORD, pray to the Father and ask the Messiah to help you with the Holy Spirit EVERY MORNING, DAYTIME and EVENING!
Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge. There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?
    (Jas 4:11-12)

    Brothers and sisters in Christ
We are living in the most solemn period of this world’s history. The destiny of earth’s teeming multitudes is about to be decided. Our own future well-being and also the salvation of other souls depend upon the course which we now pursue. We need to be guided by the Spirit of truth. Every follower of Christ should earnestly inquire: “Lord, what wilt Thou have me to do?” We need to humble ourselves before the Lord, with fasting and prayer, and to meditate much upon His word, especially upon the scenes of the judgment. We should now seek a deep and living experience in the things of God. We have not a moment to lose. Events of vital importance are taking place around us; we are on Satan’s enchanted ground. Sleep not, sentinels of God; the foe is lurking near, ready at any moment, should you become lax and drowsy, to spring upon you and make you his prey.
Those who endeavor to obey all the commandments of God will be opposed and derided. They can stand only in God. In order to endure the trial before them, they must understand the will of God as revealed in His word; they can honor Him only as they have a right conception of His character, government, and purposes, and act in accordance with them. None but those who have fortified the mind with the truths of the Bible will stand through the last great conflict. To every soul will come the searching test: Shall I obey God rather than men? The decisive hour is even now at hand. Are our feet planted on the rock of God’s immutable word? Are we prepared to stand firm in defense of the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus?
    KJV Revelation 14
12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
The warfare against God’s law, which was begun in heaven, will be continued until the end of time. Every person will be tested. Obedience or disobedience is the question to be decided by the whole world. All will be called to choose between the law of God and the laws of men. Here the dividing line will be drawn. There will be but two classes. Every character will be fully developed; and all will show whether they have chosen the side of loyalty or that of rebellion.

After that I felt ridiculous for even asking! Of course the Father wants us to obey His instructions. What Father has no rules for His children and what King rules without laws?

Mike I got a word of advice for you I hope you take the time to read it. You got 133000 subscribers to your channel not everyone is going to take the time to research the scriptures. Consider brother that a lot of people are followers and do what other people say. You said that you had a revelation and this revelation that you saw believe me is not from god your leading a lot of people to sin. You mention Matthew 5:17 about yeshua not coming to abolish the law but then you say that we don’t have to keep it. Don’t just read one text read all. Context is everything read Matthew 5:17-20. You mention romans 2 but fail to mention the beginning of that chapter where Paul saids in verse 13 for is not the hearers of Torah who are righteous but rather the doers of Torah who will be justified. Romans 3:31 do we then nullify the Torah through faithfulness?may it never be! On the contrary we uphold the Torah. 2 Peter chapter 3:15-16 warms us how people are going to use Paul’s writings which are hard to understand to lead many astray. You’re telling people is ok to eat pork well lookup every scripture with the word pork is not positive to say the least. Yes we are free from the law thru yeshua but the law he is saying is the law of sin and death not gods laws. God call them a blessing read Deuteronomy before you start talking all that nonsense brother please. Your basically saying that what god called a blessing is now a curse. Basically the reality is that god has given us the freedom thru yeshua if we want to keep his commandments because we love him which makes them non burdensome you do it lovingly or you continue to be stiff necked like our forefathers. I will leave you with one verse and again remember you have 133000 followers not all are going to do their research. Some think about what you’re doing brother 1john 1:3-6 now we know that we have come to know him by this-if we keep his commandments. The one who says I have come to know him and does not keep his commandments is a liar 🤥 and the truth is not in him but whoever keeps his word in him the love of god is truly made perfect. We know that we are in him by this. Whoever claims to abide in him must walk as he walked. How did he walked he kept the sabbath ate biblical kosher and all other commandments that applied to him as a man of god. 1 John 3:4. Everyone practicing sin also practices lawlessness indeed sin is lawlessness.

      @Absynthexx1 6 ปีที่แล้ว +17

Well said! We are commanded to walk as Yeshua walked. And how did He walk? He followed Torah. In fact, he was the only sinless person to walk this earth! He was also The Word made flesh. What Word? God's Word. God's Law. We are to live as closely to Him as we can. And I don't think we are doing that by sorta keeping some of the Torah.

      Well stated.
He did not get that "revelation" from the Most High.
White christians know TRUE YASHAR'EL are waking up, and are nervous, since they "know" what this means: the end is near.
There is REASON WHY Yah told YASHAR'EL to "guard" TORAH: it was not given to Gentiles; no Gentile, christian shoukd be teaching Torah, Laws YAHUAH gave exclusively to YASHAR'EL.
This video is an extension of Christianity's strong delusion.

There are some calendars that begin the week with Monday, but they are far and few!
      And those calendars are wrong!!!!!!
The TRUTH is that over 100 languages around the world translate the word sabbath into to the seventh day of the week!
Shabbat, Sabbath, Sábado, Savato, Sabato, Sambata, Subbota, Sabati, etc....................
God's law(Ten Commandments) is eternal, and 4th commandment clearly says we are to cease all secular work on the seventh day!
      And reiterated in (Hebrews 4:10)
      Nobody can change the sabbath!
The Roman Catholic Church claims to have changed the solemnity of Sabbath to Sunday! ( 321AD Constantine )
But I follow my KJV Bible, not the Roman Catholic Whore/Church!
      And my Bible says:
SIN = Transgression of the law!
      (1John 3:4)
      God's commandments are not grievous!
      (1John 5:3)
If we couldn't find out the true sabbath, then that would be grievous🤔???
So if you don't believe in God's 4th commandment.
Do you believe in the popular/trendy
      "Nine Commandments" ??????

Mike thank you for being obedient to the Lord and sharing what you have been given. This has been on my heart for about a year and has bee the source of confusion for me. I have gone back and forth wanting desperately to know what the truth is on this subject. Just when I think it's been resolved in my mind I hear a teaching that causes me to doubt my conclusion. What you have shared today is confirmation for me and I am so grateful to you. I keep you in my prayers that you would be led in all truth, to be strengthened by the Word and be kept safe from the lies of our enemy. God bless you and your family.

    • @sanctifiedbytruth4364
      @sanctifiedbytruth4364 6 ปีที่แล้ว

Alice it's been a year for me too. I heard a teaching years ago about keeping the Sabbath and it made a lot of sense but I just wasn't ready for it, shame on me cause I wasn't willing to sacrifice my Saturday's for God cause I thought that was just so extreme, even though I've committed my life and whole eternity to Him, smh. Now I love the Sabbath, it's my favorite day of the week and has helped me remember weekly to get ready for His return!
But after going thru a difficult season in my marriage and feeling no fellowship with the Father I was led to revisit things the Holy Spirit had convicted my heart about but I had ignored. The Sabbath was one of the first and thru researching it I came across Torah Observant teachings. I have listened to many teachings and heard the opposing side, and read my bible like I have never done in my 15 years of being a Christian.
I realized my heart agrees a lot with keeping Torah but with the right motives. 1 Timothy says the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith. Some things have been changed like circumcision(being of the heart), sacrifices for sins(because Christ is our perfect once for all sacrifice for sins), and stoning(which is a spiritual type of stoning by delivering a person to Satan for the destruction of their flesh; 1 Corinthians).
But what it comes down to for me is the thought that Jesus suffered for every time I would break the laws, and that makes me not want to break them. Even if that means I don't eat pork ever again, I don't care because I love Him more and I don't want to act like His suffering means I can just occasionally eat pork cause I won't be condemned. Sorry but I don't agree with Mike's advice on that one.
But I understand that some believers are getting off track by getting too in the flesh about things. But we need to remember sin is defined as three things in scripture: transgressing the law, knowing to do good and not doing it, and doing something not in faith. So even if someone keeps a law but not in faith it's sin. And we should never willingly sin. That's why the way is a narrow way, we need to stay in faith and walk according to God's Word and do His will, and His Will is not for us to be lawless. Those who are lawless He says He never knew them, though they profess Him as Lord and have the ability to cast out demons, prophecy, and do wonders "in His name".

I want to really know HIM and not some inaccurate, made-up version that allows me to continue to comfortably sin. We need to be drawing near to Him, getting into the word and allowing Him to prepare us for what is coming so that we won't be deceived. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with me, it was very nice of you.

What was nailed to the cross?
    KJV Ephesians 2
    15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ORDINANCES; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
    KJV 2 Chronicles 33
8 Neither will I any more remove the foot of Israel from out of the land which I have appointed for your fathers; so that they will take heed to do all that I have commanded them, according to the whole law and the statutes and the ORDINANCES by the HAND of Moses.
    KJV Colossians 2
    14 Blotting out the HANDWRITING of ORDINANCES that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
There are many who try to blend these two systems, using the texts that speak of the ceremonial law, the ordinances of Moses, to prove that the moral law has been abolished; but this is a perversion of the Scriptures. The distinction between the two systems is broad and clear. The ceremonial system was made up of symbols pointing to Christ, to His sacrifice and His priesthood. This ritual law, with its sacrifices and ordinances, was to be performed by the Hebrews until type met antitype in the death of Christ, the Lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world. Then all the sacrificial offerings were to cease. The Ten Commandments were written in stone by the finger of God. What God has spoke and blessed cannot be reversed.
    KJV Numbers 23
20 Behold, I have received commandment to bless: and he hath blessed; and I cannot reverse it.
    KJV Romans 3
29 Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also:
ALL of mankind have the same God and the same commandments under the new covenant.
    KJV Hebrews 8
The New Covenant Foretold By Jeremiah
6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.
7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.
8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
    KJV Psalms 40
8 I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.
    God bless

God is truth it states pretty clearly that's the curse that came up on people and the hatred of God towards sinners that came as a result of breaking God's laws. That is what was nailed to the cross. Although Heretics try and teach that it was God's laws themselves that were nailed to the cross. But those same people try to equate the word of God with the doctrines of demons.

God is truth, so are we to only obey the 2 commandments of Christ which comprise all the moral laws of the 10 commandments, or obey the 7th day Sabbath and feast days which we can’t even do correctly since we don’t have the lunar calendar they used in biblical times which used the cycle of the moon for these events? The Bible says we commit spiritual adultery when we return to old covenant laws and attempt to obey both the new covenant and the old covenant laws. It’s just like the Bible calls believers who follow the ways of the world and who seek after the flesh as adulterers to God. They are spiritual adulterers who are trying to serve God and serve the world too and no man can serve 2 masters. I am often accused on videos of believing in works for salvation because I believe in being obedient to Christ. I don’t believe anything I will EVER do will earn me a bit of righteousness, the only thing that gives me righteousness is the blood Christ shed on the cross. However, He didn’t suffer and die for me to continue to live in willful sin and disobedience. He died to give me, through the power of His shed blood and the Holy Spirit, the ability to be freed from bondage to sin and to defeat death with eternal life just like He did. I am not the same person I was before I got saved, not even close. I find no pleasure in worldly things and I don’t desire to do the same sinful things I used to do. I truly don’t understand how anyone could live in willful sin and have any peace. If I lose my temper with someone or am not as kind as I know I should be, the Holy Spirit grieves me until I repent. And these are things I do unintentionally, so how much more would the Holy Spirit grieve me if I willfully lied to people, fornicated, committed adultery, and other immoral behavior?

Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.Galatians 5:4
We are led by the Holy Spirit and should yield to His prompting. We are not under the Law though. Christ fulfilled it. The whole point of the Law was to show how we couldn't keep it! It was Holy and righteous but couldn't make us Holy and righteous! Sin had to be dealt with, as the power of sin is the law. We are under the New Covenant where we receive Christ's righteousness with His spirit in us. The Law was only a shadow of the reality we now have in Christ! Hallelujah!
For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect. Hebrews 10:1

Mhv Last name Law and grace do not work in competition with each other but in perfect cooperation. The law points out sin, and grace saves from sin. The law is the will of God, and grace is the power to do the will of God. We do not obey the law in order to be saved but because we are saved. A beautiful text which combines the two in their true relationship is Revelation 14:12. “Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.” What a perfect description of faith and works! And the combination is found in those who are “saints.”
The works of obedience are the real test of love. This is why they are so necessary in the experience of a true believer. “Faith without works is dead” (James 2:20). No man ever won a fair maiden’s heart by words alone. Had there been no flowers, no acts of devotion, no gifts of love, most men would still be searching for a companion. Jesus said, “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven” (Matthew 7:21).
Words and profession are not enough. The true evidence is obedience. Today’s bumper stickers reflect a shallow concept of love. They say, “Smile if you love Jesus,” “Honk if you love Jesus”; but what did the Master Himself say? He said, “If ye love me, keep my commandments” (John 14:15). And that is exactly what most people don’t want to do. If love makes no demands beyond a smile or wave, then it is welcome; but if the lifestyle must be disturbed, the majority will reject it. Unfortunately, most people today are not looking for truth. They are looking for a smooth, easy, comfortable religion that will allow them to live the way they please and still give assurance of salvation. There is indeed no true religion that can do that for them.

according to your interpretation of "fulfilled" it means Messiah did away with the Torah, if that's true then he also did away with Joy as well because in Philippians 2:2 it says.. " Fulfill" you my joy, that you be like-minded, having the same love being of one accord, of one mind. And in John 15:11 it says These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be "Full"
both of these words in Philippians and in John are the same word used in Mathew5:17..Think not that I have come to destroy the Torah or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to "Fullfil"
this word is Strong's #4137 it is the word "pleroo" and means to accomplish, make complete, make full or (Fully preach).. basically your understanding says this... that Messiah did not come to do away with the law but to do away with the law. Mathew 5:17. also Joy.. looks like you don't have to worry about the law or having joy because both have been done away with.
also you say that the whole point of the law was to show that we couldn't keep it, you just called the most High a liar because in Duet 30:11-14 He says that it is not to hard for us.

TORAH in Strong’s Dictionary is “ teaching, instruction, orientation”. “Law”, “nomos” in greek in the New Testament was put in place of Torah/ teaching, instruction, orientation. The translaters were very wrong in that. Many times in the NT we see “works of the law” but it does not refer to the Torah or “law/ nomos”. “ Works of the law” in hebrew is “hasim haTorah” and in actuality were laws ADDED TO THE TORAH” to the Torah by a jewish sect called the Essenes as far back as the 2nd Century BC/Before Christ. So, Matthew 5:17 is just as it states. Torah was never abolished. In Ephesians 2 we see that believers in Yahshua/ Jesus become co-citizens with the jews. We see it in Romans, 11 also. Torah is “the eternal Word that stands forever” as we see in multitudes of scriptures both in NT and OT. Therefore, belivers in Yahshua/Jesus are called upon to keep Torah/instruction, teaching, orientation--which “are not grieveous” as stated in 1John 5.

      SuperDeut4 thanks...very good
But the Work of the Law wasn’t added by the essenians, but by the rabbis! That what we learned in the scroll of qumran. It’s all the tradition that the rabbis put in the head of the people!!!there is no word essenians in these scroll, but it’s another debate!!!!

Amen and thank you mike don't ever be scared to voice what the lord reveals to you, for this subject many of us I think ponder when we are studying and hoping we interpret scripture right..I think the fear of being wrong and doing wrong scares me more then anything.. I think Romans 14: 5-9 says a lot about this as well.. and also as you were reading about the vineyard and sewing seed I immediately think it referred to my family or our family so to speak. a vineyard you usually ran and work on at home with the members of the family, its hard work and its the "ground work" of our foundation.. if our foundation is not built on solid ground it will never work out in our lives. or if it is unequally yoked you can have major problems... if only I had known these things long ago life would of been so much easier but they are stepping stones...one day at a time God bless your doing great !!!!

You're doing wonderful Mike you are learning and growing. Praise Yahuah Elohim. One thing I'd like to say the teaching was very good and I know this is for those who have not yet coming to the truth but when you speak of clean and unclean food when Peter seen the sheet come down three times if you read on over he was pondering on what was meant by the vision. Now if you read over a few more verses after he baptized Caiaphas in this whole family he said he now understands what was meant by the vision that father wanted him to call no man common or unclean. All men are made in His image. If you read of Noah and the Ark I was always taught that there was two of every kind but actually there were seven pairs of every clean and two of every unclean that is because they needed sacrifice and food. The unclean was never met his food they were to keep the world clean. remember you have to have two or three witnesses to confirm a matter you will find nowhere else in the scriptures that speak that you can eat pork and anything that's unclean. I am a mother I'm not going to tell my children one day don't do this and then the next day tell him that it's okay to do that. and fathers ways higher than my ways and his thoughts are higher than my thoughts. Remember the verse that says the ways of a man may seem right but the end is death. Always look forward to your videos and praying for you and your family. Shalom

Your looking at it wrongly. The covenant was made to the bride not the child. The old covenant the old law was with the first bride. But when Jesus died, that was the end of the first marriage as if the spouse died. Which freed up the second covenant the new law, the new marriage. So the covenant did change, by the new marriage. Jesus died that we could be set free from the law. The law is a mirror that when we look into it we see our weakness, our absoute helplessness and find we need more, we need a savior and that savior is Jesus Christ. By believing on Him and His death and His resurrection we are released from the law and given the new covenant, the new marriage. We are filled with the spirit, and are under the law of grace.
Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?
Romans 7 2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.
3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.
4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.
5 For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.
6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.
8 But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead.
9 For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.
10 And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death.
Also read Romans 8. We are under the new law, the new covenant. We are under grace. The old law was necessary because before Christ died the holy spirit was not given, now we have the spirit of God to lead us into righteousness. We have no need of a law. Instead of putting ourselves under the yolk of the law we are to out ourselves under the yolk of Christ.

Mike- I’m glad to see your being led to Torah. This is a shadow of things to come (Col 2:17). The tribulation will require Torah to be observed, Especially Commands and Feasts and SABBATH as well as MANDATORY in Millennial Kingdom! See Isaiah 66, Rev 20, Matt 5, etc. 7th Day Sabbath/Shabbat is HUGE! I see Torah Observant Christians as Christianity 2.0 and what the LORD wants!!! 😁

I feel the command of the sabbath is a major point for god. He says he wants us to observe it, correctly , I suppose. Assuming if u do it on the wrong day ur not doing it right. Now if only we had an ancient calender to show us which day it is so we know we're not following a foolish tradition from our fathers

A thousand thumbs up for this video, Brother! I can attest to a strong witness in my spirit that this Revelation is indeed from the Father, and lines up perfectly with the whole counsel of God in the scriptures. Check Galatians for Paul's Council on willfully putting yourself under the law, and the result of doing that, rather than resting in the grace and sufficiency of Jesus' fulfillment alone. This subject is the theme of Hebrews, for this very reason. Awesome! I thank Jesus for your humble sweet spirit in presenting this truth. Blessings upon you and your family!! 😇

Joh_13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
1Jn_2:7 Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning.
1Jn_2:8 Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.
2Jn_1:5 And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another. 1Jn 4:21 And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.
1Jn 5:1 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.
1Jn 5:2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
1Jn 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
1Jn 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
1Jn 5:5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? Rev 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
1Jn 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
1Jn 3:24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
You are putting yourself under bondage by trying to live righteously through the law, you cannot be righteous through your own works only through faith in Christ can you be righteous.

@@Mrskaseymunzer But if you keep sinning for the same offense, knowing it is sin, doesn't that mean something as well? There is a reason the veil was torn when Christ died and then rose again. Physicality became spirituality for a reason. If you know all 600 and some odd laws, then either you follow them all, or don't follow them period. Or you can do what Christ commanded and follow the two He gave us.
