EXCELLENT VIDEO! And those little baby girls are SOOOOOOOOO ADORABLY CUTE! And little Lucy being able to tie those knots BY HER LITTLE SELF is just heart-wrenching! Thanks so much for the different great set-ups!
THANKS for a low-key video to introduce younger family members to canoe shelters! Lots of fun colors in this to hold some attention and to add to the 'happy' feeling.
on my first two wilderness canoe trips, solo,i did that.new to the game i thought i would save weight by going out scout style like i did in the 1950's.after two week trips under the boat i got a timberline tent.i felt really secure under a fiberglass hull but every evenings camp ment new set up plus pulling the canoe up and into a camp site.
Great information! Also, I could listen to your voice all day, you could do audio books, or radio. Hopefully your a teacher, because you definitely have a gift for it! I just got a canoe, after not having one for years. I've been looking up Canoeing videos, and the algorithm brought me to this video. I'm definitely going to subscribe, & am looking forward to exploring your channel! Keep up the great work! Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
Good question. After straightening countless bent pegs we have noticed that the ark of the foot press when the heel is the pivot point doesn't match the correct angle of entry for a peg (45 degrees). If you can visualise that! So the foot press is more likely to result in a bent peg, especially with the weaker pegs.
EXCELLENT VIDEO!

What type of tent is that?
Quick question, what size is this tarp?
Hello! It's 4.5m x 3m :)
tap a peg not stand on it.....why? seriously, id like to know

You must be careful not to leave low flat spots that can gather rain. Always have a slop in the tarp. Thanks 🇨🇦👍
Absolutely Tom! Especially in Scotland ;)
Great video if you are having trouble sleeping
